Location was perfect for us. A short (10 minute) walk (uphill coming back!) to a supermarket, bars, & La Fustera beach. Also a 10 minute drive to Calpe front with lots of bars, restaurants & shops - plenty of free parking near to the seafront. The villa itself is a little dated & rustic, but with character & charm. It's very well equipped & we were short of nothing for our 2 week stay - could easily have been much longer with comfort. The outside areas are terrific! With a huge courtyard, utility room (washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & board etc), & the lower level has to be seen to be believed. Fantastic pool (11M x 5M), covered seating area, & excellent outdoor kitchen with sink, fridge, & built in gas bbq. Lots of other seating areas so you can always find sun or shade. Mature palm trees, lemon, lime & orange trees, & beautiful flowering climbers complete the picture. If your looking for a modern & shiny new villa this may not be for you; but if you want a beautiful 'Spanish' style villa with fabulous grounds in a quiet location you will not go wrong. Terrific value for money.

Some basic provisions (welcome pack) to start the holiday would have been useful rather than having to visit the supermarket immediately. However, I understand this was because of the Covid situation & the villa had been cleared, cleaned, & sanitised.

Cosy 3-bedrooms villa with private pool and small garden, well-equipped for long stay. Quite simple 'realistic' interiors. Calm neighbourhood, pine trees area nearby (so you can smell that!), long-walking distance to a supermarket, beach area and few cafes. Private parking for 2-3 cars. Good BBQ area with gas grill, outdoors sitting areas.

Mosquitos (end of September) that get into bedrooms at night. A door between master bedroom and bathroom would be nice to have.
