Nice hosts. The room was big and comfortable, at a very good price. Completly equiped kitchen. Private parking available right next to your room.

When we arrived to the room there was an alive wasp and 3 big flies roaming in the room. That can happen, but as we were checking for more live bugs, we found more than 15 dead flies on the window frames which reflects a not very deep cleaning. There were also 5 alive spiders on the WC. There was a lot of noise from the road, with trucks passing throughout the night and no sound proofing . Weak WiFi connection

Stayed in the cottage and it was the best! We loved the place, especially the resident piggy. Owners are great, had a wonderful time.

I am allergic to cats, so having a cat roaming around wasn’t great for me personally!

I stayed in Bowlers Cottage. Very big comfy bed. Lovely hot,good pressured shower. Quiet,peaceful. Love hanging out with the Kuni. Hosts brief but friendly(didn't need to communicate).

Nothing to complain about, it was exactly what was in description and expected.

We stayed in the king studio. The bed was so comfortable and so was the room. Its not a brand new studio, but it did have a newly refurbished bathroom. Everything worked well in the unit and it also had reverse cycle air conditioning. We had a lovely nights sleep. The studio was so big you could of swung a cat.

The TV couldn't be watched in bed unless you looked sideways. But not a big deal as the room had two arm chairs.

Great wee cosy hostel. Nice vege garden to wander around. Love the bunya pine. Wallside lamps for bunk (note, the single floating beds didn't have side lamps... Perks of a bunk?!) Friendly staff Very clean

Some noise from the old fridge outside the 6bed dorm. Room opens out to the kitchen so hopefully other guests are mindful of noise at night/early morning (they were, when I was there :))

It's a must stay on your way when crossing the Arthur's pass. The rooms are simple, but everything is clean. The kitchen and living room are really cool and have an old school vibe. Baths and toilets are also clean .Loved it. There's also a great coffee shop on the other side of the road for the flatwhite lovers.

Really good experience in smylies. Love the food there. Very welcoming hosts. Will go there next time.

The Bowler cottage had enough room to spread out and be comfortable. it had nice privacy as well

The apartment had great cooking facilities and was very spacious with a table/chairs and a small lounge area.

The room was a bit dated and dark.

Clean room. Good pub down the street for food.
