The luxury villa is elevated over the most beautiful shores of the Indian Ocean inlet Mtwapa Creek, within a 3000m² walled park,engulfed by palms, bougainvillea and tropical plants. The private natural stone pool (with pool bar) of 16 x 12 x 2.8m is placed between the villa and Mtwapa Creek. Stunning views of the Indian Ocean inlet and direct access to the Mtwapa Creek through steps hill downwards. Indulge in your meals either in our 6m high Matiti style salon (110 m²) - which include a hand carved mahogany bar , sitting / TV lounge, dining area and library, or the veranda with stunning Creek view and overlooking the pool. 4 en suite bedrooms (ceiling fan, king size bed, mosquito net) furnished with African carved hardwood made with exceptional attention to detail and design. Mini bar in master bedroom. Split air conditioning in 3 bedroom (service charge apply for usage). Inclusive SAT TV available in the Salon. INCLUSIVE STAFF: cook / house Manager - house-keeping / watchman free WiFi/Wlan Travel to Kenya and airport transfer: Mombasa International Airport is 30 - 45 minutes away (23 km) and the drive to the Villa is uncomplicated without ferry crossings. There are several flights into Mombasa per day either from Nairobi or from abroad. Car hire is recommended but not essential. Safaris and other activities: Once you have booked we provide you on request with contacts of well recommended local vendors of safaris, deep sea fishing, car hire, scuba diving, etc. We do this as a free service for our guest without a view to gain. You still have to be encouraged to compare prices and services with other vendors. !!!Airport transfer is available on request for a small extra charge!!!!

We, a group of three couples had the exceptional opportunity to spend two extraordinary weeks in Villa Annchen in Mombasa - Mtwapa Creek. In short words: we just loved it! The accommodation is simply an amazing location with an outstanding view over the Indian Ocean inlet Mtwapa Creek, needless to speak about the exceptional sundowners one can experience from the home. Our expectations from what we saw in the pictures on the website were very high. Nevertheless they were exceeded by far! The staff of the house did a fantastic job in accommodating us and we would like to highlight Rebeccah as a lovely and always helpfull house manager. Further, the handling and negotiations with the owners of the house were very straightforward, uncomplicated, efficient and pleasant. To cut a long story short: we all fell in love with Villa Annchen and hope to return very soon to re-live the unforgettable experience. I think we speak for all of us: we want to come back for sure!

Falls Sie dies suchen sind Sie hier genau richtig. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und nett empfangen. Die Villa ist gepflegt und sauber, die Zimmer ansprechend mit viel Platz auch fürs Gepäck und die Bäder sind ok. der Natursteinpool ist wunderschön und man hat einen tollen Blick über den Mtwapa Creek und seiner tropischen Umgebung. Der wahre Luxus sind die Menschen die das Anwesen bewirtschaften angefangen vom Vermieter der einem gerne mit Rat und Tat behilflich ist, über die Hausmanagerin Rebeccah mit Ihrem feinfühligen, unaufdringlichen und hilfsbereiten Service ,den Gärtner (der uns nachdem er merkte das ich Blumen mag, jeden Tag einen Blumenkorb liebevoll arrangierte)und dem Koch der uns 3 x am Tag eine ausgezeichnete frische und abwechslungreiche Küche bot, unter anderem auch den besten Lobster den wir je gegessen haben.Sie alle haben uns richtig verwöhnt ohne jedoch unsere Privatsphäre zu stören. Vielen Dank für einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen.

This villa is absolutely charming all the way to the details. We were warmly received by the villa manager who picked us up from airport and felt immediately at home. This beautiful home, divided into individual rooms, is even more lovely in person than in the photographs (which is not always the case). The rooms are uniquely and tastefully designed and decorated, the space is very comfortable and refreshing. The pool is the best among many that I visited in 6 months in the region of East Africa. The gardens and grounds in general are well kept and stunning. The meals made by our private chef are healthy and delicious. We wanted a quiet, restful, picturesque getaway and that is just what I found at Villa Annchen!
