Good parking. Clean and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Very good restaurant providing a good menu at a reasonable price.

2 toilets, but only 1 shower for 4 rooms

The place was clean and cosy, easy to find and get the key. Location was good with restaurants and other amenities nearby. Photos matched the actual room.

Not easily accessible by public transport from the train station (buses are not frequent). A little expensive considering it is a shared bathroom and it is not a big city or tourist destination. Not much amenities besides a shared kettle. Hosts were not too responsive when I asked if we can check-in a bit later than 1900 hours.

My room and the shared bathroom were spacious and clean and very comfortable.

When I made the booking I added a special request that I was travelling by motorcycle and would arrive at about 15:00 hours. I had no reply. The Chaplin Hotel check-in time is 17:00 hours. Late by any standard. I arrived at 15:00 hours very cold after a day on the motorcycle and was told to return at 17:00 hours. When I did return I found that the reception and bar area smelt of stale cigarette smoke and old chip fat. I have use Booking.com throughout, on a six week tour of Europe and the Balkans and this is the only hotel I have not liked.

The excellent location, beside the historical centre of Kempten. The quiet rooms even when the bar was full with local people. It is the place where you can receive warm welcome and enjoy local traditions and food. Suggest to try owner branded drink Julishka.

I did not read carefully enough to see that the room has a shared bathroom. Of course it is not the fault of the hotel, but it could be more visible next to the rate.

common use of toilet and bathroom. This fact is also carefully „hidden „ in the description and only written somewhere in the text in order for them to be legally covered. If I had realised I would never have booked it. Luckily I was the only resident that night. Also checking in at 17:00 earliest is extremely late.

The room is very pretty, clean and cozy. There is plenty of hairdryers, the bathroom is clean. It is situated very close to city center, and there is free parking.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from Basilica, 10 from Galeria Kaufhof and Edeka

I don't remember that I saw information about shared toilet and bathroom on the hotel page...
