The location, the view and it was very peaceful and quiet.

it was a bit distant but in the other hand this made the stay very relaxing, the staff was very kind and helpful and the view stunning! If would have been great to have the opportunity to have meals during the evening though. The staff was very service minded and had a driving service whenever we needed to reach the beach, restaurants and bus stop so appreciated!

Amazing location with fantastic views over the water, really good host that could help us to arrange aperetivo in the evenings and helped us with transfer to the nearest village where there were several restaurants (the pizzeria was our favorite).

A little bit too loud air conditioning but it wasn’t really a problem

It is a nice place with magnific views, but the glory of it probably lies in the past. The owner of the places does the outmost, to make guests happy, for instance serves drinks every evening when the sun sets.

Some areas where there activities, now are closed ands liveless. If you want to have dinner in the evening, you have to go to local shop for products, as there is no in house facility, Cheap bamboo furniture in the rooms resembles Egyptian hotels, shower cabin doors were not working.

Vito was amazing, always helpful and caring. The location is amazing, it has a nice pool and lounge area, perfect to relax.

Absolutely amazing views! Perfect spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Vito was an amazing host, providing a very useful shuttle service whenever needed. I was silly enough to leave a bag on a local bus. Vito made countless phone calls on my behalf and located my bag and also arranged for it to be collected by a staff member. 5 star service!

Fantastic location, all alone on a cliff high above the sea. A bit remote, but beautiful. Shuttle to bus stop five minutes away. Comfortable rooms, beautiful large terrace, excellent value. Very accommodating manager.

Isolated location is no problem with a car, but isn’t easily walkable. Drinks service and breakfast, but no lunch or dinner on site.

The host and driver are running the whole show there. They are the most wonderful, hospitable, hard working, humble and kind individuals. The kind of people who were just born to be in the hospitality industry. The rooms and toilets are a bit outdated and our toilet constantly had issues flushing but honestly, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip because of how we were treated and the amount of care and effort that went into making our stay memorable. The hotel is quite far from the town and beach (2.6km) so they have a free car service back and forth at different times of the day. I loved staying on this side of the island because there were far less tourists. I would recommend renting a SMALL car as the island is big and there is so much to see and experience.

Hotel Punto Azzurro was a perfect choice for us. Their terace is big and has an amazing view. The room was big and clean. It is located at the end of a small but charming town Panza. It was definitely our favourite town on Ischia. The Hotel is also close to beach Sofrageto, Botanical Garden, Sant Angelo,...

This was partly a working vacation for us, and it was low season, so it was wonderfully quiet, sublime really. We plunked away and took mental breaks by looking out over the azure sea. We are deeply grateful to the manager and to the housekeeper, who both did a wonderful job. Everything was perfect. We would love to come back. Besides being generally wonderful in every way, what is really good about this place is it is so peaceful and well run. Several times during our week here, we exercised by running up and down the steps at Sorgeto, then soaked in the delightful hot springs there. It's about 1/2 hour away on foot.

The room was confortable and clean, the panoramic view from terrace is awesome. This is a good place to rest in calm in Ischia. Vito was always kind with us, and available to take us to the bus station. Thanks for all your recommendations and the complete breakfast everyday. Excellent quality price rapport. We hope return to Ischia and this hotel soon !

Lovely hotel , in a wonderful location with a fantastic view ! What could be better than a magical sunset with a really delicious aperitif. The staff is very friendly and with the shuttle service offered you are well connected despite the fact that the hotel is a bit far away.

We loved everything, it is incredibly beautiful with expansive views and many places to sit, relax, stretch, eat. The pool was perfect for us, we are a family of four and it gave us a quiet place to hang out. Vitto and his staff are wonderful, so attentive and helpful. It was everything and more we could have asked for :)

In a word ..... VITO. He was amazing. Given the current pandemic the hotel itself was not fully open but Vito not only recommended places for us to go both for the day and to eat at night but also took us there or to the nearest bus stop and picked us up He was also available all day with water (and beer) if we decided to stay by the hotel pool. He was a superb host and made us feel very special. Thank you Vito for everything. Will will be back x

Due to the current pandemic Not being able to see this hotel at its full potential was disappointing.

THE OWNER AND STAFF ARE INCREDIBLE!!! Single mom, travelling with my 5yo for the first time to Ischia. My little guy picked this hotel based on the picture of the pool. I was VERY impressed with the facility. Quiet, cozy, and felt like Italian living. Breakfast is complimentary and AMAZING! Fresh croissants, a coffee cake, and I saw some Grand-Slamish plates but can't say what was on them; we were so busy running in and out to sit on the gorgeous balconies, swim in the pool, and visit the sights. We had a delicious pizza delivered for only €3 for dinner. The owner is what really made the difference!!! He was PHENOMENAL. We got off on the wrong bus stop and he came to pick us up. He dropped us off at the beautiful beach down the hill, and told us about local sightseeing. We got lost on our way back from Castel Aragon, and ended up making it back to the beach later than planned; he came all the way back to the beach to pick us up! He helped order food, was kind, professional, accommodating. Cannot say enough great things about him and his hotel! Everything was a bus ride away, and at €1,50 for a bus ticket, that made getting around and seeing the castles, beaches, and villages easy travel. BE SURE TO ASK WHAT TIME THE LAST BUS LEAVES AN AREA; we found out the hard way at the castle that just because they come every 15m does not mean they come to the same stop every 15m. Thankfully, the owner of Hotel Punto Azzurro was able to answer our messages and the locals were able to offer guidance. This hotel made our stay wonderful!

There was a loose door in the shower and the tv was in Italian only. BUT the water was perfect temperature and I'm not entirely sure there wasn't some user error, and the WiFi is free, so we were able to watch Netflix and Disney+ on our tablet and phones.
