Loved this place!! Absolutely amazingly wonderful owner, the best breakfast, walking distance to town, 700m from the 15min bus to Doolin you get the ferry to arran islands or see Clifs of Moher

Good quiet location within walking distance of the town centre. Breakfast is always exceptional and the rooms are very comfortable.

The location is beautiful, just a 2minute drive from town and places to have dinner. The garden is immaculate and the home beautifully decorated in calm colours. The room was very comfortable, bed was comfy and big, bathroom was perfect and everything was exceptionally clean (which I’m a stickler for). The next morning there was a continental breakfast (included in the price) and a €7 charge for a cooked breakfast if you so wished. We opted for the cooked Irish breakfast and it was wonderful! Patricia (the hostess) was so lovely and showed us true Irish hospitality.
There was nothing we did not like about the property.

This was a beautiful place to stay with excellent, good value breakfast options. Our hostess Patricia was very helpful with suggestions for hikes and local music. The room was spacious and beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would return here too.

Breakfast was very good in a lovely room. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated. Gorgeous garden. And views (see note below).
Bathroom and bedroom were small. Nice views out of the two rear and side windows but cars are parked outside both windows. Our side window had a car parked right next to the window which bothered me. Might have been a guest but no parking signs should be posted there.
I was looking forward to walking into town but the hostess said it was too dangerous. There is a busy street (have to use care) but within 5 minutes, there are sidewalks.

The room was clean, and quite, despite the fact that the accommodation is next to a main road. The breakfast was really delicious. You could choose from 4 different type of breakfast. They also offered a traditional Irish breakfast. I asked for vegetarian option, and they prepared me some eggs with extra vegetables (no additional fee, it was even cheaper than the "normal" breakfast) :)
The landady was extremely kind and helpful.
They also have a cat and a cute doggie at the B&B. The dog, Maggie was really friendly. :)
There were no trash bin in the room, only one small at the bathroom.

It is a very good property overlooking green fields and at very good location , 15 minutes drive away from cliffs of moher. It was a spacious , very clean room. Comfortable beds and very clean bathroom.
Despite being quite big size room, it didn't has a single desk/ chair which is a very basic requirement for a room . Limited vegetarian/ vegan breakfast.options.

Lovely B&B, the rooms are taken care of and are in good shape and comfortable. I had an enjoyable stay and the host of the house is a lovely lady, very helpful and kind.

I would NOT recommend this property .
The host changed the terms of agreement.
A person’s word is most important when pre- booking and giving your credit card details in advance , and this is something I would not recommend at Greenlawn Lodge B&B . It enables security for host and exploitation for guest and this host will take full advantage of a one sided pre agreement .
I made a booking at the property , two months in advance for 5 nights bed and breakfast included x 2 .
However when I arrived , the lady’s daughter informed me that policy had recently changed and breakfast was now at an additional cost of €8 per person per day .
The original terms were not honoured and hostess told us to leave when I pointed this out to her .
There were no tea / coffee making facilities in the bedroom , bedrooms were cold and shower was very poor .
Standard accommodation, like Greenlawn Lodge B&B is widely available throughout Co. Clare but look elsewhere if you are seeking genuine hospitality, a warm welcome and a reliable host . No amount of Egyptian Cotton bedsheets will compensate .
Of course I thought it was a truly unpleasant accommodation due to my truly unpleasant experience there .
I have no tolerance for being ripped off and if you don’t either , avoid Greenlawn Lodge at all costs .
