Renters Beware!
Fools gold in the RESERVE!
Where do I start! How about with the doors not locking correctly or not at all. The door nearest the garage doesn’t lock; I never could get the back door to lock. The air hockey table wire was severed and not working. House is disgusting and is a shame because it has so much potential. Spider webs and dust inside the house on light fixtures and outside porch area. Lights bulbs are missing everywhere throughout the house. Patio furniture was so nasty and torn you could not even enjoy it; same for outdoor loungers. The Dock area was in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. Trash was all around the house, and two trash cans were overfilled with trash when we arrived. (Cleaning crew should have taken care of this). The kitchen, you would think, being so remote, would have all the amenities and utensils. Well, NO, it was disgusting and lacking. Pictures are very misleading, and I had my hopes set so high this was the perfect house for our daughter's 16th birthday. What a letdown it was. To the host, you guys need to take this off VRBO and do some serious maintenance and organization.

Jackson Family vacation (s)
We had a great time and own the lot next to the Toscano house so it's a natural fit for us. The house works well for us and the only issue is that there are some repairs that need to be completed (broken door hardware among other things), especially since the house is on the market.

The home was beautiful but not as beautiful as the scenery from the dock. We even had a full moon which completes a wonderful dream vacation.

Awesome week away on the lake!
There was 3 couples and 3 kids under the age of 10 and we had a blast at this beautiful lake and home! The home was perfect for multiple families as everyone had their own space. Kitchen was beautiful and was a nice setup as we cooked every meal and never went out to eat. We rented a boat for the week which is highly recommended for anyone going to this area as there is so much to do on the water including waterfalls, rocks to jump off of and just for cruising. Highly recommend this home if you have a large family or multiple families coming. Owners were very responsive when we had questions and were very helpful. We will be back for sure!

The renters made everything so easy for us as we put together a last-minute trip for 14 ppl when our original plans changed due to travel restrictions. No one was disappointed that we ended up here because we had plenty of space and plenty of activity. The walk to the dock is easy, and the owners had kayaks, paddle boards, and even a tube there that we could use. The house was pretty, but the outdoor space was incredible. The only “wish” would be to possibly be able to rent the watercraft stored in the dock from the owners for an additional cost because once you pull a rental to the only open side, there is no room left to swim. Overall, we had a spectacular time and hope to be able to return.

We had a great time here. The house was just perfect: location, size, view, everything.

Beautiful home set right on the gorgeous Lake Keowee. Home was clean and well supplied. Everyone in the group had their own room and bathroom which was a plus. Quiet and secluded even though it is within a neighborhood. Great location on the lake close to areas with beach access, party cove and one of the jumping rocks. Enjoyed the game room and the built-in ice maker came in handy. Would stay here again.

Week Stay
We had a memorable time at this lake home. The outdoor living areas are the highlights of the house. The view of the lake and cove area was quiet despite being a holiday weekend. We needed a bit more direction on the checkin and checkout process. Need instructions on how to operate television on main floor. Plenty of room for 10 people and the game room was used on rainy days. Pantry was well stocked as well.

Great house, great location, great view
We really enjoyed our stay on Lake Keowee at this house for a long gameday weekend. It was extremely spacious and clean, and we had plenty of room for 10 adults. The location on the lake near a marina was great for renting a boat... the trip back to the house with the boat to pick everyone up literally took 5 minutes. The gated neighborhood was beautiful, with deer everywhere. The only missing detail was a missing shower curtain/rod in one of the bathrooms, but when that's the only problem encountered you simply overlook it... besides, this house has plenty of bathrooms!

This place is Huge.....
We had a great time with a small group. Could have fit several more couples. Great location on the water! I just wish we had access to the ATVs, boat and Jet skis :)

Labor Day Weekend
We really enjoyed the stay. Everything was as advertised. The WiFi signal was pretty much nonexistent but that just makes the vacation more of a vacation in my opinion.

Magnificent lakefront home perfect for families and friends to create those special memories!
My wife and I are Clemson alumni, and we were looking to take our two girls to their first Clemson Game. We also have several friends that live in the area, and were hoping to create a reuinion of sorts. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we knew we made the right choice of homes to provide the setting we desired. The house and landscapping are in excellent condition. There are rooms galoure which provided everyone ample space, and the main gathering rooms were equiped with all the conveineces to have fun and socialize. The lakeside beach and fire pit provide a unique combination if you’re staying in the early or later part of the season...swimming and s’mores proved to be a crowd favorite with the kiddos :) As far as location on the lake, it’s perfect! The Northern end of the lake has more mountain views and your not far from “party cove” which is a waterfall on the lake that has a swimming area for boats to pull up and anchor (if you’re renting a boat). Sunset Marina is just around the next large point which provides boat rentals and a fueling station. Lighthouse restaurant and Tiki Bar is probably a 15-20 min boat ride. There is a fairly long drive from the main gate, about 4 miles, however there is a construction entrance that makes it easier if you’re heading to Clemson or Seneca for sights or shopping. Getting to those points takes about 40 mins. We planned accordingly and tried to make one big grocery shopping (Seneca) and two trips into Clemson for sight seeing and the game. The rest of the time was spent at the home which we didn’t want to leave. If you don’t mind the distance this is a great home for Clemson Football weekends as we had no traffic heading the backway through Six Mile. Last but certainly not least, the owners were very accommodating and responsive! Can’t thank them enough for opening their home, and making our first Clemson trip with the kids a memory to cherish!

Beautiful home. Outstanding views! Well equipped.
Had a family reunion here. Something for everyone. Kids loved the basement and adults loved sitting on the patios. Fished off the dock. Comfortable yet spacious and grand. Great access for young and old to the pier. Owners were very helpful. Long drive in from the gate, but worth the views!

Superb home in an excellent location
I can't say enough good things about our 4 day weekend on Lake Keowee in this home. The house was much nicer than the pictures let on had ample space to allow four couples and six young children to spend quality time together without being on top of one another. It was also in an excellent location on the lake within a 20-25 minute run to the lighthouse or jumping rocks. We are definitely considering coming back again next summer.

Several Problems Encountered with This Property
We were scheduled to stay at this property in Sunset, SC for 7 nights during 4th of July week in 2018. We had a poor experience during our 4 days in the rental property, before being encouraged to leave the property by the owner and his maintenance supervisor. During our partial stay we encountered no running water, no DirecTV and no air conditioning. The property owner and I exchanged a series of text messages during our stay during which he committed to "making us whole" for the poor experience. Once we had left and checked into a hotel, he stopped communicating. We are still out the money 7 months later. Avoid this trap!
