A spacious, well equipped holiday home, with amazing outdoor space including a newly renovated terrace and new pool as of 2022. The terrace, pool & summer house have fabulous mountain views of the Serra De Tramuntana, listed as part of the UNESCO World Heritage list. The house is a very typical Mallorcan property with many original features and updated to include many home comforts! The property is perfectly arranged to maximise outdoor living, with the kitchen and living room at the top of the house and within steps of the built-in BBQ, terrace, pool & summer house which is perfect for some shade! Entrada You will step from a pretty courtyard into the typical Mallorcan Entrada, a perfect spot to cool down. Bathrooms The property has two bathrooms, one with a bath and both with a shower, w/c, heated towel rail and wash basin. Bedrooms There are two bedrooms, one with a large bed that can be made into a twin room if required, and one with a double bed. There is also a lounge to relax in and a well equipped kitchen on the top floor

We had a wonderful stay at Fornalutx … except for the mosquitoes which were particularly prevalent this year ! Fornalutx is a very pretty village with many cafes and restaurants. There are many steps from the village square up to the house. The house delivered everything that was described. I would just add that the house is spread over three floors, so quite a few steps. Also just watch out for the step between the lounge and the kitchen. The stairs will keep you fit but it’s worth knowing. The owners communication was excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. They were very helpful with questions we had. There’s also a very good bus route to Soller. We hired a car but didn’t use it ! Great walk to Soller too. Hope to be back someday.

As a first trip abroad since before Lockdown, our 8 day stay in this special place ticked all the boxes. Peaceful place in a village with everything we needed, we would have no hesitation in recommending this property although the many steps up from the village could be too great a challenge for some. We regarded them as a way of keeping fit.

We loved our week so much! A beautiful, cosy home with unbelievable view from the terrace, could have stayed much longer. Communication was very easy and helpful, photos don’t do it justice. Wish we were still there!

If you’re looking for tranquility, incredible views and getting away from the mallorcan tourist traps this is the place! A very traditional village townhouse with a fantastic roof terrace and pool, wonderful friendly owners, Fornalutx is a really special place

Lovely property with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces. Nice pool and terrace for sunbathing with super views across the town and valley. Nice mini market, bakers , bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes. Excellent base for walking etc.

We had a lovely time in Jill and Lee’s beautiful house. It is full of character and exactly as shown in the pictures. We especially enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace and admiring the views over the village of Fornalutx and the imposing mountains surrounding it. Lee and Jill are excellent hosts who are quick to respond to any queries and provided us with all the info we needed to find the place easily. They even let us extend our check out time despiste us asking on a very short notice. Highly recommend trying out their house, especially if you are looking for a good base to explore the Tramuntana mountains and the west coast of Mallorca

We are a french family of 4. We spent really good holidays in this house. Every morning, the view was amazing. We could make sport in the morning (hiking or cycling), visit beautiful villages and snorkeling in the sea at afternoon. Moreover, the restaurants in Fornalutx were nice. Just be careful to have light suitcase. There is many stair to access to the house.

The house is charming with a lovely terrace to sit out on and gaze at the hills and the village delightful. Lovely little square and several nice restaurants. We went to walk and Fornalutx was a perfect base.

A very pretty village with plenty of restaurants. Great walks from the door.Garden is fantastic with your choice of sun or shade.Very private and quiet.Amazing views. Very well equipped kitchen including a juicer. Fairly close parking, but suitcases need to be lifted up some steps.Plenty of books and videos for all tastes.Good wi-fi.Down stairs bedroom slightly damp after some rainy days, but probably perfect and cool in the summer. Would definitely stay again.Easy e-mail contact with owners.

We can highly recommend the place of Lee and Jill as a starting point for hiking tours all around the "golden valley" - which we did! The house is set in the pitoresque village of Fornalutx with cosy rooms, fully equipped kitchen and a great outdoor patio with an overwhelming view! For seldom rainy days there is a well sorted selection of DVD's and games available. Thanks again for the very detailed and helpful road map to your house. We really enjoyed our stay! :-)

April/May in Fornalutx weather was generally very warm one day rained all day but that's spring for you . This property delivered on all levels, it is well presented in a modern Mediterranean style was very clean, good beds and nice linen, a good selection of English guide books and reading material are available but the best thing for me was the Kitchen, as a cook it had a good range of utensils and gadgets, 2 fridges and with fresh produce available in the super village store, I thoroughly enjoyed Med. style cooking and eating on the fabulous terrace with stunning views. There are a good range of outside seating and tables plus a BBQ for the larger party as well as inside table in the kitchen for cooler days. The property is on three levels with a traditional Mallorcan layout although the living space is on top/garden level which makes sense when on side of a hill, there are about 180 steps up from the village but parking is closer, access only from the old steps of the village gives a feeling of being in the heart of things, I do recommend you take luggage you can easily lift as you cannot use wheels, luckily my husband is a strong man as we had one large case! We come to the Soller valley most years in spring to walk as it has to be one of the best places within easy flying distance to UK. We flew from Bristol at 6.30am and were enjoying a beer in Port Soller at 11.30am in the sun. I can highly recommend Autos Cano no frills easy car hire run by an English team. Overall we highly recommend this property it is most charming and traditional and we hope to be back.

Just returned back from another fantastic stay at this perfectly situated holiday home in Fornautx. Once again we were able to have many of our meals on the large outdoor terrace with stunning views of the Tramuntana Mountains. The house has everything we could have wished for with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen. With a local shop and very good restaurants minutes away we had everything to hand, also the traditional Placa with cafe's where the locals hang out has a real buz. With the small town of Soller and Port de Soller close by this makes the whole area one of our favourite holiday destinations. For those wanting to explore further afield the local bus from Soller offers regular services to Palma, Valldemossa and Deia which are all well worth a visit.

The property is in a lovely village that has everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The house itself is full of character, well maintained and also has everything you could need - including extras like a much appreciated bottle of wine and plenty of fresh fruit. The booking process was simple and Jill and Lee help out with providing a money transfer link to a company that is good value. All made very easy. There's lots to do in the area and if you have a car and can get out and about there is stunning scenery to be enjoyed. I'd recommend it to friends without hesitation and hope to return

We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. The furnishings and facilities were first rate. The kitchen, utensils etc. lacked for nothing. The crowning glory however is the terrace. To relax on there after a long days' walking looking at that view was a sheer joy. I have to say the photos on your blurb do not do it justice! I have several if you could use them. A shame the gardeners on the adjoining plot decided to burn rubbish while we were having breakfast one morning! No we really loved everything about it - apart from forgetting to lock/unlock the kitchen door and having to run up and down stairs a bit! Would 2 keys solve that or would the risks of losing one be too great. I'm sure you have tried it before. Also, the ONLY proviso would be the steps; getting cases from the car park which is often full, and up and down stairs might be a problem for some people. We would love to go back! P.S. Bit concerned about giving bank details. Is this completely secure?
