Stayed for a family holiday, grand parents, children and grand children. Good size rooms with the exception of the en-suite which is tiny. Good weather which always helps. The location is a few minutes drive to beach, Christchurch, etc.

Considering the last minute decision to book, the response was very quick and informative. We arrived to find a well equipped property in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking of the beach and riverside walks. With close amenities and places to visit.

A great location and property.
A great location and property.
Pro's Perfect location Very clean Very light and airy property, a perfect size for 4 or 6. Well equipped kitchen with all the amenities you would wish for and expect. Very quiet location with a 12 minute leisurely walk to the sea front. I can't really understand why other visitors think the en-suite is really tiny, its not that small! I was expecting a broom cupboard ensuite, but it is easy to use for one person at a time. Freeview Smart TV with access to Apps if you already have your own logins. Con's I can't think of any really, we really enjoyed everything about the place and will try to book again for next year.

Southbourne Staycation
Southbourne Staycation
The property is light and airy with all mod cons required in a family kitchen. The kitchen was well resourced with lots of storage space. The garden was a good size to hang washing on the clothesline in addition to my family and I playing games and eating at the table on the patio alfresco style. The bedrooms and bathroom were a good size and there were lots of sofas in the lounge and conservatory allowing for family time or individual space. In summary we had a wonderful stay in a great property and would love to stay again.

Lovely place. Spacious, light and airy.
Lovely place. Spacious, light and airy.
Most disappointing and downside was the en suite bathroom- very very small. Our friend is tall and had to use the other shower and toilet. Both the toilets are very small too. The rest of the house was good- comfortable beds etc. Would rate it ideally at 3.5 out of 5 due to the above issue.

Wonderful property and host
Wonderful property and host
A lovely location, 15 minutes walk to the quieter seafront via a nice and quiet residential area. The property is light, airy and spacious. Great open plan layout. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory area for the relaxed seating and open doors on to the garden. Bedrooms are all large and accommodating. Ample room and comfort for two adults in each bedroom. We found the fully equipped kitchen to be like home from home.. everything offered for a self-catered stay (although due to location, the very nice local pub is around 20 mins away and delivery services on tap). The garden is quaint and well kept. Our toddler thoroughly enjoyed running around, in and out, and around the open plan layout of the whole home. Just a genuinely nice space. We were blessed with a whole week of beautiful July weather, so the BBQ was utilised, the outdoor tables and chairs frequented more than the indoors (breakfast, lunch and dinner). And, the owner seems to have thought of everything for you to enjoy the beach-location; we brought our own beach provisions but appreciated the extra ice packs and beach umbrella etc. The owners offered great advise, clear instructions for check-in and all was totally perfect. We came as a couple with toddler and couldn't recommend this property enough, for such an arrangement.. We had many conversations about how we could have brought both sets of grandparents and still had plenty of space and a wonderful stay. A very happy holiday, a lovely space and great memories. Thank you, Robin and Helen!

Good location close to the water. Pub about a 10 minute walk away. Does very good food and is on the river. 20 minute walk into Christchurch. The ensuite bathroom is extremely small and a larger person would struggle to use it! Lovely open plan kitchen/sitting room.
