Queenshill is a two bedroom apartment in a convenient location from which to enjoy the glorious and varied aspects of Scotlands wonderful capital City. Situated on the north side of the city and only a 5 minute bus ride from the West End, Queenshill offers easy access to the Forth Road Bridge, airport, convenient bus routes and all main roads for those who wish to explore further afield. In a location with a choice of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Queenshill has a private parking space allocated to the apartment allowing the choice to drive, bus or walk. 9/7 Queenshill is a 2 bedroomed apartment on the 3rd floor allowing wonderful views of Edinburgh Castle and the skyline yet nestles in a quiet setting. The flat has modern and cosy decor with a bright lounge/dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, fridge etc and the bathroom offers the choice of bath or shower. The master bedroom enjoys the luxury of a king sized sleigh bed and the twin bedroom houses two very comfortable single beds. In such a super location, next to a variety of shops, close to the fashionable Stockbridge and within easy reach of all Edinburgh's famous attractions.

The apartment was a delight, with a beautiful view of the castle. Very clean and comfortable. Fiona was excellent about answering questions promptly. Highly recommend.

Fiona was very good about communication with me on my needs and checkin process. The place was very nice and we enjoyed it. It is a walk up those stairs though.

The location of the flat was convenient and allowed easy access to the city as well as a store for groceries and other forgotten neccesities. The accomodations were comfortable and just what we needed. Fiona was very responsive and we appreciated her.

The flat is nice and tidy, with a big parking space – everything as described (bath/fully equipped kitchen). The perfect view on the castle and the old town is a little encumbered by nearby trees, but that's all – if you're surprised by the stairs and no elevator you did not read closely enough :) Biggest plus is the bus stop with regular connection to the city centre around the corner (two lines, 15 minute drive), the big shopping centre just across the street and two gas stations in the immediate surrounding. Communication with Fiona was prompt and friendly. I'd definetely check back with her first should I return to Edinburgh which is quite possible. Thx for everything

We really enjoyed Fiona’s place, and its location as well, close to shopping and not far from the old town.
Her place is clean, quiet, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay.

The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived. In the bathroom we noticed several mouldy places.During the night there were noises assumingly in the water pipes (mainly close to midnight and appearing at something like 5 a.m. again). So much in regard to recreations.
The magnificient view ?! The one to Edinburgh was covered by trees - don't get me wrong I like trees. But you can enjoy a nice view to the next gas station.
Finally you have to love carrying your luggage to the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Nice size apartment for a family of four. No lift but very quiet and well equipped (including dishwasher, washer, wifi and parking spot) Shopping centre close by (walking distance) and easy to take transit system too.
Dean Village is a 20-25 minute walk.

Very clean and tidy property with a good bus service to the city center. There is no lift so you will need to carry your bags up four flights of stairs.

The view of the castle was nice. The three flights up were a bit of a challenge with luggage. The beds were comfy, the linens a bit dated. It worked for three of us!

Good location , good apartment stay with family. all the necessary shops are opposite, (no need to buy anything and bring it from home). We had a great time at the christmas market, had a nice walk around the city, everything is beautiful and christmas mood.

Despite good communication the picture given in this email is a misrepresentation. The furniture, pictures etc were not the same. This flat has no lift, and is very dated. Also cold, despite being told to change heating this proved to be very difficult. No information on buses, taxis or places to eat. All these are usually found in rentals.

We were for 2 nights in Edinburgh and had a great holiday. good carparking and a nice appartement.
It would have been better if we knew in advance that it was on the 3rd Floor without an elevator.

Fiona couldn’t have been more helpful. A very comfortable apartment to stay in with all the conveniences you need. The location was great and very easy to get anywhere in Edinburgh by bus. The close by grocery store was a bonus.

Edinburgh Break
This was a lovely appartment, really comfortable beds and good shower. Very roomy appartment. Lovely view and we did worry about it being noisy but it wasn't in the slightest.
Location was good - easy to get into Edinburgh central by a choice of buses, three minutes walk away to bus stop.
Lovely walk into Haymarket and Princes Street along a leafy walkway which I suspect had been an old railway - took us 50 minutes to get into the centre.
Shops opposite for fresh food if needed!

Very well equipped and furnished flat, in a perfect location. Opposite a large supermarket and other retail outlets and on a good bus route to the city centre.
The only thing I would note is that it is on the top floor ( 3 flights of stairs) and there is no lift.

Enjoyed the more residential location, with amenities so close by. Quick bus ride to downtown, and benefit of quiet neighborhood for great nights sleep. Hope to come back again in the future!

Very comfortable apartment with easy access to the city centre
The property is well maintained and has everything you could require fora comfortable stay. It is 2 mins walk to the bus to take you to the city centre and has a large shopping complex straight across the road for everyday needs. One thing to note however is that it has 3 flights of stairs to climb, but it has good views over Edinburgh. There is a walking path just behind the block , and if you are so inclined, you can walk to Haymarket, Leith and Murrayfield. The owner was very friendly, helpful and efficient in all our email correspondence. A fabulous stay.

Sehr schöne, saubere und große Ferienwohnung. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten reichlich Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten sogar ein Ladekabel für unser Handy. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Bushaltestelle war gleich um die Ecke und konnten so super in die Innenstadt gelangen. Ein großer Supermarkt ist direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Sehr nette Vermietern. Sie gab es uns auch ihre Handynummer für alle Fälle. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Schöne Wohnung, eine gute Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr bemüht.
