It rained a lot during our stay, which caused the living room and bedroom ceilings to leak. Yes, this was more rain then usual, but looking at the other beams this doesn't look like a rare occurrence.
They got the date wrong for our departure, so the cleaning crew came in early, which was unsettling.
As others mentioned, it is easy to hit your head in places if you are over 6' so beware of that.

We enjoyed our stay in the attic apartment. It was cozy and well-equipped. The apartment was as expected from the descriptions. The bathroom had counter space and the shower had a shelf and these were convenient. There is an elevator once you go up a short flight of stairs. Pablo answered my questions about the apartment ahead of time.
The location was great! Right by a metro stop, short walk to Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, and the Rustafa Market on Sunday. There are grocery stores across the street. It was easy to get to many key tourism areas by foot or with a short subway ride.

Nice flat, amazing location. But the only issue is the water issue in the shower

Pablo's apartment was perfect for a week's stay in Madrid. The location was great - a supermarket just across the square, the metro just steps away with easy access to the airport or train station, and easy walking distance to central Madrid. Tirso de Molina is lively during daylight hours, but quiet at night. The apartment has lots of character and is well equipped. Numerous windows fill the apartment with light and good airflow. Communicating with Pablo was easy - I highly recommend!

Loved being able to feel the heartbeat of the city in this conviently located apartment. Very cozy with all the amenities needed for your stay. Only thing I would say is it may not be best for tall people. My husband did bonk his head a few times. But I loved it and would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

The apartment was a perfect, comfortable base for our week exploring Madrid. Most places to visit are in walking distance, while more distant sights can easily be reached from the Metro station a few metres from the front door. The kitchen arrangements are quite adequate ( Note: the coffee-maker is Italian style Monix, not electric) and the Taberna next door is a great option for delicious, reasonably-priced eating out. We appreciated the "Old Madrid" feel of the neighbourhood and would happily stay here again.

Property was located perfectly in the center of Madrid. Was able to walk to the museums, Grand Via and the major plazas; Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Puerta de Sol. The metro was right in front of the property, easy to get around if I didn't feel like walking. There was more than enough room for me as I travelled alone, although there was enough room for three more people easily. I was warned it was an attic apartment, so I was not surprised with the low slanting ceilings. I did hit my head a time or two, but nothing serious. The kitchen has everything you need in a small amount of space. The dining & living rooms are spacious. There is a supermarket across the plaza in you want to eat in. There are also several cafes, restaurants, food shops and bars in case you want to head out. I was fortunate to attend two football matches while in Madrid. The Santiago Bernabeau and the Vincente Calderon Stadiums were awesome experiences I'll never forget. I can't wait to come back to Madrid.

The flat was very cosy, had all the essentials. Located right next to the metro gave it good transport links. Had a good wi-fi connection and AC's. Pablo and Sofiya were very helpful, supporting us through out the whole vacation. Would definitely stay there again:)

This apartment was perfectly located within old Madrid, easy walking to all the best Madrid has to offer in the way of art, history, and, and culture--as well as great food spots. Comfortable, quiet, and peaceful to come home to each evening. It is an attic apartment with all its charms; therefore my 6ft2in husband did bump his head on the beams a few times but nothing serious. Great natural light throughout, lovely kitchen (nice supermarket directly across the street), spacious living/dining combo, functional but slightly cramped bathroom, and rest-inducing bedroom. For a week's stay in Madrid, the Tirso de Molina apartment was ideal.
Pablo was an excellent host, even sending us information about the Feast of the Virgin of Almudena events and celebrations. We wouldn't have known of all the religious and cultural events surrounding Madrid's patron saint--those events being a unique highlight of our trip.
The only issues preventing me from giving a 5 star rating is the small bathroom and need for some additional storage in the kitchen--one open shelf above the toaster area would do. However, neither of those items would stop us from wanting to stay there again--hopefully there will be another opportunity in the future.
