It was quite challenging to find the property on arrival in the dark

The property was off the main road on a square of similar bungalows. It was clean and everything was there that we needed. A huge selection of DVDs which we took advantage of a the tv was only freeview.

The place was obviously a much loved family home, but there was a lot of personal things stuffed into cupboards. It backed on to what used to be a caravan park and the vans that were left had been vandalised, so it gave the wrong impression of the area when you first drove in.

The property was very clean and inviting,never seen such white towels in a rental property.

Nothing everything was very good

It was the perfect size for two of us and really nice and peaceful. Good location too.

So, cosy, everything you need is here, fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable beds, bedrooms, fire, central heating, games books, dvds, excellent broadband and a top tv package. There is a petrol station across the road that sells everything you might need to settle in.

It is a little dated, like going to your nans, but perfectly good. Scotties retreat is chalet number 12. The parking space is number 12. We parked in the wrong bay and were informed about it a little later by a very charming chap, who pointed out our marked bay politely. Nothing else wrong with this place, I will definitely go back. 👍😃
