The location was clean and quiet. Quite comfortable

The internal lighting was a bit dim.

The property was located about 15 mins away from downtown and away from most items. We were told by the taxi driver that it would be difficult to get any taxi service from the location. The property was in good shape and clean on arrival.

I would not recommend this property to anyone that needs a place to stay on the island. The host was very difficult to work with. My issues first started with my reservation from bookings.com. I assumed that after my completed reservation from the website that I was set to go. My mistake, I usually call to confirm reservations when traveling abroad. On my way to the island, I called the property and was told that I can't complete reservation online and my reservations were not valid. Already on my way with my family and with little options for a last-minute booking, I asked if the host could accommodate based on the online reservation. She agreed on the conditions that I would have to make a cash deposit in local dollars for our stay and a retained deposit amount. Red flags were presenting everywhere. Reluctant but with few options I decided to take a risk. I agreed via WhatsApp to a rental agreement and proceeded to the property. There were a few issues as the host would not provide exact property location until I provided the names of all guests. After our stay was completed, I attempted to have the deposit returned and was initially told by the host that the deposit would be returned per the rental agreement. After the deposit was not returned in 7 days after my family's stay, I called the host to inquire on the return of our deposit. The host noted a delay because of recent surgery. I then received a message that noted part of the deposit was returned with a deduction for cleaning services and an additional guest. No mention of this deduction in my prior conversation with the host. I wrote a detailed message back to the host nothing that there was only the guest noted in the agreement overnight at the property. The host then proceeded to make several allegations that were never raised prior in our discussion of the return of the deposit. All were truly inflammatory and unwarranted. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The accommodations and the amenities

The refrigerator was not chilling properly. The bathroom needed privacy enclosure.

Access to the pool and jacuzzi should be available in the late night, especially for persons coming in from a late flight or celebrating at night. Jacuzzi was not like a hot tub. So this could be confusing with the advertisement.

Had to wait 4hrs to take over the entire house after the stipulated time which was set by the owner had to clean the pool my self plus the tv, microwave and stereo were not working, they sent an electrician on the third day to try to solve the problem the Villa is in a dilapidated state, all the furnitures are old as well as they are siezing your deposit for damaged furnitures weeks after the guest have left when the guest requestes their deposit and had nothing to do with the damaged furniture, The maid service was poor with horrible attitudes had to fold and put away the beach towels for my self as well as the sinks within the kitchen is clogged and overflows would never vacation at this place again and would warn all my friends and family about it. The last but not least the lamps and lighting were broken and not working properly

The Jacuzzi was not hot. At best it was luke warm. The showers lacked water pressure when trying to use the hot water, with the cold water it was fine. So it was not possible to get a hot shower. BBQ pit is very old and rusted, should be replaced
