South facing, the villa is situated on a multi-level stone walled property surrounded by terraced gardens of aromatic Mediterranean vegetation, a private swimming pool overlooking the ocean and only a few steps above a private beach - the perfect spots to relax in and enjoy Dubrovnik’s sunny and warm weather. Lozica is a short 5km drive from the Old town of Dubrovnik – the 'Pearl of the Adriatic', where you can explore the historical and cultural heritage of this unique centuries old World heritage site. If you are looking for crystal blue sea, beautiful beaches, charming local restaurants, romantic scenery, entertainment, various cultural events, or simply a place to unwind, you will certainly find it in Dubrovnik. We recommend renting a car or using taxis for getting around so that you really make the most of what the area has to offer. Among other local activities are various water sport and beach activities, boat excursions, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, horse riding, folklore, and visiting local family estates for a taste of domestic wine and gastronomy, music or crafts. The villa provides a welcoming spacious accommodation, and is ideal for a family or a group of friends. The villa has a large summer kitchen with a big stone table and a barbeque. The private pool is equipped with deck chairs, sunbeds, and a shower, and is a perfect place to relax by. Just a few steps down is a private beach, a rocky seafront tamed by a spacious pier where you can take a dip into the clear Adriatic Sea and enjoy the sun and the summer breeze. A charming stone bench and table corner overlooking the sea provides a perfect place to unwind, with a glass of wine or a good book. Indoor, on the top floor, is a large open plan living/dining area with an adjacent seaview terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms both facing the sea and with access to the terrace, and two bathrooms – one of which has a large corner Jacuzzi tub. On the lower floor is the extension of accommodation and amenities. The front bedroom facing the sea accommodates 2 guests. Also front and sea facing is a large lounge area with large pool/snooker table, TV, coffee and wine bar. Two sofas offer a comfortable resting and mingling area (the bigger sofa pulls out into an extra bed for 2 guests). In a separate room is 1 more double bedroom. There is 1 bathroom with shower and a hallway. The whole floor opens up to a large terrace with lounge furniture, and is a few steps away from the pool. This type of villa layout offers a great facility for many: one large family, two families, a group of friends... the possibilities are various. In order to make your stay more comfortable we offer daily maintenance included in your price! The villa has three private parking places. We can arrange boat rental and various excursions upon request. You will be ask identity card or passport upon arrival for registration at the Tourist office. Great property right on the coast, 5 minutes from Gruž (which has a decent supermarket). The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the bedrooms all have strong air conditioning. The pool and outside areas all have great views of the coastline just north of Dubrovnik. The property is on the main road however the property itself is down the hill so is very quiet (There are quite a few steps down and up!). The property is 5 minutes south of Mali Zaton which also has some super restaurants and places to swim. The property is recommended! We were two families with 4 children ranging from 6-17.

This property is absolutely amazing! The location offers fantastic seafront panoramic views. The pool and the private sea access allow for plenty of opportunities for swimming and cooling off on a hot sunny day. The property is secluded and offers a lot of privacy, but yet it is a very short drive to the Old Town of Dubrovnik and other local attractions and sightseeing opportunities. The property had a lot of character and offered a perfect blend of traditional local architecture and modern amenities. There is even a private wine cellar on the property. The host is very accommodating and welcoming and kept in touch with us daily during our stay and assured we were taken care of. The property keepers were also available daily and kept the property clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

We had a group of six adults (ages 25-78 years) and we ALL had a fabulous time. The pool was clean as was the house. Lots and lots of room, nice A/C, fast WiFi, fully equipped kitchen. The host and the house manager were extremely responsive. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation.

I have just got back from a wonderful week at Villa Luce. Dubrovnik is a wonderful city and Villa Luce is a perfect place to stay when visiting. The pictures on the site are accurate, the sunsets are amazing and the ability to wake up in the morning, walk down the steps and dive into the sea makes this place really special. All of the practical stuff worked well, the villa was clean, the check-in was easy, no complaints !! We did not have a car, we used UBER, which was fine. We will certainly come back again in the future.

It was a fantastic family holiday in this beautiful villa. The location of the villa was one of the best. The communication with Lucija was easy and prompt, she is a clever negotiator. The summer kitchen is great. The pool is deep enough and clean and warm. The view from any corner of this villa is beautiful. Thera are 200 steps form the upper gate to the sea, but this was not a problem. There is smart TV in the upper living room, where you can watch your favourite sport or other TV channels. The sea was warm and you can feel all the time that you are at unique location. Great villa, good communication with the owner, fantastic holiday.

This place was terrific with the most spectacular sunset views from the deck. This place will not disappoint you. Lovely place, well equipped even comes with a wine cellar. I will never forget the views, amazing.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Amazing sunsets while watching the boats go by. Close enough to enjoy Dubrovnik but far enough to be private and peaceful. Lucija was a very good hostess and everything was as promised. Definitely recommend.

We loved our stay in the villa of Lucija. Its an old property but very clean and nice. The view and the connect with the ocean was the best. You can just jump in the Water whenever feel to it. We cooked Breakfast and then went for Zaton or Dubrovnik for dinner. Will come back :)

We stayed as a family of 8 for 6 days at the villa. The villa was lovely, the host welcoming and informative and the views were stunning. The villa was clean and tidy, but maybe a little tired in places. Although on a busy road, it was peaceful, as the villa is set down from the road next to the sea. There are a lot of steps - 95 from the road to the villa front door and then down more to the pool and sea. Slightly unusual layout - the 2 floors are only joined by external stairs. Upper floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. Lower floor has 3 bedrooms but only 1 bathroom. Overall a great villa for a large family such as ours - comfy beds, good showers and air con. The pool was lovely and private access to the sea was great. We really enjoyed watching the boats and cruise ships going past on their way into Dubrovnik Port. Supermarket at the Port about 10 min drive away. We used Uber to and from town in the evenings, worked really well, costs about £10 each way, much cheaper than regular taxis or parking in town.

Good location however wouldn't recommend property suitable for under 10 year old as on steep cliff and access to sea into deep water with no steps. We rented this Villa because it was perfect for our group of 10 with 5 bedrooms. Lucija was a wonderful hostest. She was there for us from arrival to departure. The Villa was true to its descriptions and pictures. Mateo's wine "Dinga" was the best of all during our wine tasting tour. Also, what a treat to have the opportunity to pair oysters with wine at the oyster farm - fresh and tasty. Thank you Lucija for recommended Mario to lead our wine tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The Villa was equipped with all the amenities for what we needed for our stay - indoor kitchen and outdoor family dining with an awesome grill. Mateo helped us get the best local rib-eye and we grilled and shared a wonderful meal with great friends. Some of us had a cold, so one of our sous chef made soup every morning. There were two washers for your loads of laundry. The property was clean and manicure. We enjoyed our sun tanning and swimming in the ocean with our private beach. The view and sunset is second to none at this seaside location. It is 10 minutes taxi ride to the old town, where you can find plenty of cuisines and culture. We managed to use the same taxi driver for the entire stay. Overall, it was perfect for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
