FILEY FARM IS LOCATED ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE SEASIDE TOWN OF FILEY AND IS A LOVELY 4 PERSON COTTAGE. CONVERTED FROM THE OLD HAY LOFT IT HAS VAULTED CEILINGS AND EXPOSED BEAMS AND IS ST IN LOVELY GARDENS. IDEAL FOR A FAMILY OR GROUP OF 4 OR A COUPLE WANTING LOVELY ACCOMMODATION IN NICE GARDENS IN A SEMI RURAL LOCATION THERE IS A LARGE DOUBLE ROOM WITH KING SIZE BED AND ANOTHER WITH FULL SIZE TWIN BEDS. BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE FLAT SCREEN TV 'S . THERE IS A HOUSE BATHROOM WITH BATH AND SHOWER OVER. DOWNSTAIRS IS OPEN PLAN WITH HARDWOOD FLOORS TOGETHER WITH FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN WITH DISHWASHER AND A DOWNSTAIRS CLOAKROOM. THE LOUNGE AREA HAS LEATHER SOFAS AND LARGE FLAT SCREEN TV AND DOOR TO THE OUTSIDE GARDEN AND PATIO AREA THE DINING AREA HAS A TABLE FOR 4 PEOPLE THE COTTAGE HAS WI FI ( THIS DOES VERYOCCASIONALLY GO DOWN SO PLEASE DON'T RELY IN IT FOR BUSINESS ETC ) OUTSIDE THERE IS A PATIO AREA WITH TABLE AND SEATS AND A LARGE GARDEN AREA TOGETHER WITH AMPLE PARKING , AND YOUR NEIGHBOURS ARE LIKELY TO BE THE SHEEP IN THE ADJACENT FIELDS IN SUMMER. YOU MAY BE LUCKY AND SEE A DEER OR OWL IN THE FIELDS AT DAWN OR DUSK..... THE COTTAGE IS CLOSE TO THE CENTRE OF FILEY WITH ITS RESTAURANTS AND THE LOVELY BEACH IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE YET SET IN A SEMI RURAL LOCATION. A REAL BONUS TO MANY IS THE AMPLE PARKING DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE COTTAGE NO SEARCHING FOR A PARKING PLACE WHEN RETURNING HOME AFTER A BUSY DAY EXPLORING THE COTTAGE OFFERS GREAT VALUE COMPARED TO THOSE ON SOME OF THE NEARBY LARGE ACCOMMODATION SITES BED LINEN IS PROVIDED TOWELS AND TEA TOWELS ARE NOT. SORRY WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY PETS There is a £25/week charge per vehicle if the cottage is used to charge a car, paid locally.There is no dedicated car charger.

Very old farmhouse converted into two cottages, very spacious for just us two. Fully equiped kitchen area, tv in lounge and both bedrooms. Outside table and chairs ample parking. Is on slip road near busy main road but could hear no traffic noise at night. We soon found the short cut country path past caravan park into Filey near the roundabout on left which comes out to Filey Park and cafe. In all no complaints and excellent value for money even forgiving a poor WiFi connection which comes and goes.

We had a lovely week staying in Filey Cottage. It was immaculately clean and comfortable and in a great location for walking in to Filey either along the road or through footpaths. Also convenient for exploring the coast and the North York moors. We absolutely fell in love with Filey and would highly recommend.

From booking the holiday to all the information I was given about the accommodation was so easy to follow. Lovely little cottage. Great spot. Just a 15 minute walk into Filey centre. Was met by Caroline who gave us plenty of information. Really roomy cottage. Lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend. I will be booking again.

We would love to revisit here. The blackout blinds in the bedroom is fantastic for me being light sensitive. Clean throughout and very comfortable.

Two retired couples in our group.
Our accommodation was sparkling clean with a nice outside area and ample parking. Comfortable beds and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Semi rural location approx 1 mile walk into town and a little further to the beautiful beach.
Golf and pool swimming close by as well as various walks.
Highly recommend this property. The owners were unobtrusive and answered our questions in a timely manner.

Property spotless, well equipped and well-situated a 15ish minute walk from the seafront.
2 items to address:
*shower screen needs a new seal;
*difficult to open door to downstairs loo

Best of both worlds
Although essentially a rural property and very quiet with views over fields to Bempton Cliffs in the distance it is on the doorstep almost of Filey. Lovely stay and we would return.

Beautiful cottage with lovely fittings and surrounding countryside. Very light and airy and spacious. Excellent location for accessing that area. There were only 2 of us staying but the twin bedded room was actually locked off during our stay.

This was a lovely little cottage that suited our needs perfectly. It had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, and it was warm and toasty. We used it as a base for exploring the nearby area, and would gladly return.

Thank you for a lovely break. The cottage was perfect. Comfy beds, which is always a positive. Plenty of room for us. The wine and chocolate was a lovely touch. Communication with owner was friendly and immediate before and during the visit. Good accessible location. Many thanks!

The cottage exceeded all expectations it was perfect . Location ideal for beaches and using as a base to tour the area.
.Plenty of space ,well equipped kitchen very clean, freezer, dishwasher fab , lots of storage.clothes airer handy for wet swimsuits
Main bedroom loved it bed so comfortable, black out blinds ,room is just beautiful. My 12 years old daughter was thrilled a telly in her room end of bed.
Big comfortable sofas bonus a DVD player. We spent a lot of time outside sat on bench.

Our second visit to this lovely clean cottage in good location with everything we needed. Pleasant short walk to Filey beach via Centenary Way. Local transport easily accessible. A very good holiday.

Another Lovely Stay
This is our second stay at Mill Farm Holiday Cottages and again we’ve had a great time. We absolutely love Filey & staying here definitely tops off the experience.
The cottage is clean & spacious and ideal for families. Our 3 year old loves the outdoor area & the small park down the road. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

Lovely better than expected would look great in the summer
