Located in County Cork, this lovely house for $390 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This exclusive holiday home in a small village with 17 houses is just a few meters from the sea and offers stunning views of the bay and coast of West Cork. This property has private access, green Grassflaechen and a large wooden deck with barbecue and garden furniture. The house itself has a variety of luxury facilities. It is perfect for 5 people and makes the special location and amenities make your vacation a memorable one. The house has 3 bedrooms all with private bath. There is a spacious living area with spectacular sea views. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bright dining and living area with sea views. All bedrooms in this house are equipped with quality beds -two of bedroom with king size bed and a bedroom with a single bed. The house is a 'passive house' and is equipped with solar energy and ventilation system, and therefore is ideal for allergy sufferers. For cleaning and washing as much as possible only environmentally friendly products are used. The Christmas season in this house is an experience. We decorate festive for a particularly nice hard.

An amazing location, right beside the Sea, a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and the storm. We had an amazing holiday, the decking area was absolutely beautiful. it really is a restful place and a perfect base to explore all that West Cork has to offer. I want to go back again very very soon.

What a wonderful week despite the weather being disappointing. We were so relaxed in this amazing property with gorgeous changing views over the sea. The house is well situated for exploring Cork coastal areas. Cobh and Kinsale were especially attractive. Highly recommend this holiday home.

The property was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with the beds/pillows being the best we have ever had on a vacation. The only thing that could have been better would be directions for the clothes dryer -- everything seemed to be in German on the dryer and we could not understand it. Other than that everything was perfect!

House was fabulous, the view and the sound of the sea was just what we needed after a long journey. The heating was a bit fiddly but Doris was quick to sort out. Would highly recommend Mizen Head and a visit to Inchydoney beach . SuperValu store was fabulous . Lots of fresh bread and food.

The house is exactly as described and photos are accurate. Internet worked fine our entire stay and the neighborhoid is very quiet. Communication with Doris was excellent and Angela was an amazing help. Parts of some roads around the house and to Clonakilty were being resurfaced but was never a real inconvenience for us. There seems to be at least 4 various routes from the house to Clonakilty and none are what I'd call fun to drive and that's the only reason I give the location 4 stars while all other aspects are 5. I had a Peugeot SUV so maybe a smaller vehicle would have made driving more comfortable. The outdoor temperatures during our visit ranged from 39°F to mid 60s. The house stayed comfortable at all times. The kitchen was well stocked, hot water and pressure were very good. The view from the patio over the Celtic Sea was amazing at sunrise and sunset. I would stay here again.

My parents, me and a sister recently stayed for a week at this beautiful seaside home. The house is absolutely as advertised, is very comfortable and clean and we loved every minute of it. Doris is efficient and responsive with her communications. Angela, who keeps the place clean, is a great source of local knowledge and an absolute gem. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others. I didn't want to leave!

Had an amazing stay at our property on the coast. Spectacular views, gourmet equipped kitchen, everything you needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Able to easily reach out to our host Doris who was quick to respond. The house was energy efficient and stayed temperate. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy the country life.

Fabulous holiday destination - home from home
Really loved our stay in Sea Spray. It is a fabulous location by the sea. Situated between Courtmacsherry and Clonakilty with plenty of beaches in between. The property is beautiful with all mod cons - very comfortable, clean and easy to relax in. Thanks.

Ideal get Away Location
A top class bungalow with super facilities and a great view - perfect decking for relaxing or dining and only a short drive from Clonakility and good access to great beaches relatively close - local swimming available off the rocks. Try it you will like it .

Beautifully appointed home in a fabulous setting, with breathtaking views. If you want a get away from it all in a peaceful scenic setting this is for you. We could sit looking out at the ever-changing sea view for hours. Idyllic setting to explore this beautiful part of west cork, great walks - just a short drive away from courtmacsherry- where the walk around the head is magnificent. Clonakilty is just 10 mins away by car for restaurants and provisions, but honestly no restaurant could afford you this view!
The house is decorated to a very high standard, the kitchen is fully equipped for all of your needs. The owner was very responsive to any little questions we had.
We had a terrific week, blessed with glorious sunshine. A little bit of heaven in West Cork.

Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Blick aufs Meer ist unbezahlbar und wunderschön. Kleine Anmerkung: das Haus ist ein Passivhaus, daher wird empfohlen, die Fenster immer geschlossen zu lassen. Wir konnten uns sehr schnell daran gewöhnen und die Belüftung in dem Haus war immer ausgezeichnet. Die drei Schlafzimmer mit den drei Badezimmern machen das Haus sehr komfortabel.

Traumhafte Lage und Sicht auf den Atlantik
Wir (Familie mit zwei Kindern) haben im Juli 2019 zwei Wochen im Ferienhaus Sea Spray verbracht. Das freistehende Haus ist traumhaft und sehr ruhig direkt am Atlantik gelegen. Die Sicht ist atemberaubend, und von der grossen Holzterrasse könnte man stundenlang auf das Meer schauen. Das Haus ist hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, und die Räume sind sehr hell. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, und es fehlt an nichts. Die Buchung und der Kontakt zur Vermieterin waren sehr unkompliziert.
Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt (mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten) liegt Clonakilty. Die kleine Stadt bietet diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants (sehr gut für Seafood ist «An Susan»). Ideal für den Lebensmitteleinkauf ist Supervalu direkt beim Kreisel.
Das Haus eignet sich ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge der Küste entlang und ins Landesinnere. Wir hatten zwei Wochen weitgehend sonniges Wetter und waren viel unterwegs. Die kleinen Küstendörfer entlang dem Wild Atlantic Way sind sehr schön, und es findet sich immer ein feines Restaurant mit gutem Essen frisch aus dem Meer. Besonders empfehlen können wir das Glandore Inn in Glandore.
Auch Ausflüge zum Mizen Head und in den Killarney National Park lohnen sich. Es muss lediglich bedacht werden, dass man auf den mehrheitlich kleinen Strassen nicht schnell unterwegs ist. Es bleibt dafür Zeit, um die traumhafte Landschaft zu geniessen. Die Küste mit den schroffen Klippen und den teilweise grossen Buchten mit schönen Sandstränden (Inchydoney Beach, Long Beach, Red Beach etc.) ist jederzeit einen Abstecher wert.
Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch Abendspaziergänge an die kleine Bucht von Ballinglanna nur wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt. Mit etwas Glück kann man frische Fische oder Hummer von den lokalen Teilzeitfischern kaufen. Frischer geht nicht.
