We were fortunate to stay at Pirates Cove for the month of February and could not have enjoyed it more! This home was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you might want for a wonderful vacation. Jennifer was extremely responsive and pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, kayaks, canoe and bikes that were provided. Of course, we loved seeing the manatees! We can't wait to return to Pirates Cove!

Jennifer did an amazing job keeping us informed on some local issues and was very accommodating. The house was very clean and had everything that was needed. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future visits.

Great place for adults n kids . I took my grandchildren with me 10-12. They enjoy going kayoing , weeki wache park ,pine island beach . And most of all they love the house. Hoist the colors……!

My husband and I stayed at Pirates Cove Feb & March 2022. It was very clean and nicely decorated We enjoyed kayaking biking and the many beaches and restaurants nearby. We saw manatees and had a daily heron visitor Our host Jennifer and her husband Wes are very personable and friendly people. Jennifer was quick to respond to anything needed. I would highly recommend the pirates cove and would like to go there again sometime. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your lovely home with us! You are a wonderful host 💕🏠

Location is good for outdoor enthusiasts. In January, be sure to pack for both warm and cold conditions though, as weather in Florida is unpredictable then. An upside is that there are fewer tourists/less crowding at popular venues and parks.

My sister and I really enjoyed staying here. Kayaking and biking everyday at this perfectly charming cottage. Had everything we needed and we saw two manatee that made our day.

The house is very clean and very well stocked. It didn’t matter what I left at home- the owners had it all. Great communication and great location. We will be back for sure!

Had a great time celebrating Mom's 80th birthday. Spacious and clean. Loved that kayaks were included. Enjoyed watching the fish jump while drinking morning coffee.

Great house. Great location. Plenty to do and has everything you need. The bikes and kayaks were such a nice bonus to really enjoy the location. The host is very responsive. We would love to come again.

Owner was very responsive. Very clean and necessary supplies were plentiful. Disappointed that one dock was in a state of disrepair. It was half underwater and looked like garbage. Totally spoiled the way e review and definitely was not represented in any promotional photos. Neighbor said it had been that way for months. Cannot recommend property due to this . No one wants to look at a sinking broken dock for 3 days.

We checked in late Wednesday night, The owner had given me all the checkin stuff a couple days prior making it so easy to check in. When we woke up in the morning we were so amazed by the property! A couple of double kayaks, single kayaks and a canoe! There was a pad that were able to tie to the docks and made it so much fun! Everything you can need , saw so many manatees! The location isn’t to far from upper deck restaurant, and roger park. Which was a great place to hang out during the day. This isn’t our first time to the spring but our first time at this rental and we had a great time! Thanks again for sharing your little piece of joy with us! And thanks for keeping in contact with us the whole time! ❤️

We had so much fun staying here. Swimming, kayaking and bike riding, the Pirate's Cove had all the equipment for having a great time. We particularly loved sitting on the screened porch in the evening. We ate all our meals here and it would have been helpful to have a 9 x 13 and 8 x 8 pan available. Everything else was provided.

The house was adequate ...the location and the screen porch was wonderful and relaxing. The view of the water from the living room was very enjoyable. Saw a manatee and her baby the first day! A sweet little kitty that just wanted to be petted added to the enjoyment...i would recommend this home!

We stayed at this property for a couple nights, as we were researching the area for a possible move. Communication with the property manager was exceptional - she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was impeccable. Check-in was easy, and we found the property to be very clean. There were some basics in the home such as coffee, a few spices, Saran Wrap, etc. Some VRBO’s are STOCKED, including food in the fridge (condiments, etc). There weren’t a lot of usable items here, but there were a few, which was nice! We always try to leave an item or two when we leave, but checkout here required we empty the fridge, so we were not able to. Lots of extras at the property - kayaks, a fishing pole, some kids toys in the trunk, etc. the canal life was fun, but we got eaten by the “no see ums!” That was our fault, and there was no insect repellant at the property to use. My only recommendation for the owner would be either stock some spray at the home, or to advise unfamiliar folks, such as ourselves, that bug repellent is a MUST when outside! All in all, we had an amazing stay (despite the unforeseen “souvenirs” that we are still scratching) - lol. COOL PLACE! THANK YOU!!!
