About this house rental
This former bed & breakfast is the perfect home to host a large family, couples' retreat, or a sports team with seven bedrooms and eight full bathrooms. The spacious living room and dining room feature beautiful hardwood floors and a wool rug. A finished family room (with full bathroom) in the basement gives plenty of room for everyone to socialize. The dining room has table seating for 10, plus 4 more at the high-top table in the kitchen. The kitchen boasts a modern stove, refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, and dishwasher. A large capacity washer & dryer are also available for use. Six of the seven bedrooms have queen-sized beds, with the remaining one having two twin beds. A large outdoor patio with tables and chairs is a great place to enjoy a meal outdoors. The beautiful grounds host a variety of perennials for your enjoyment during your stay. Located just 10 minutes from historic downtown Lancaster and 10 minutes north of Sight and Sound, this home is just a stone's throw from the outlet malls, Amish farms, restaurants, and roadside stands. We stayed in this for New Year celebration!
This is a great rental property!
Beautiful house and location, with a beautiful outdoor area, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the group of 14 adults. The living room is large enough to accommodate large groups of people at the time. There was enough chairs to sit us all. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics and cookware. Coffee machines was also good enough, so we almost did not use coffee that we bought with us.
One negative point - is a musty damp smell that has permeated the whole house.
They is the only negative point for us, when we consider another stay in this house.
This home needs some maintenance!
In general, All was great! The owner was available instantly for any questions that we had. Great people! Thank you for all!

We plan to stay here again. The property does need some maintenance to make it shine particularly outside. Overall, we loved our visit. The three bedrooms on the main floor worked great for elderly ladies who are unable to go up stairs. The master bedroom has a soaker tub, but no shower, so the guests staying in that room used a shower in a different bedroom. The large living room and dining area are all one room allowing lots of fellowship of the 11 ladies in our group. Great property!!

Our stay was perfect and we plan on returning. Having seven bedrooms with seven bathrooms was exactly what we hoped for. The house was clean, well organized, we appreciated the supply of paper products, linens & towels. When the coffee maker did not work another was supplied quickly. We were seven grandma’s coming for a re-union and there was plenty of parking, plenty of room in the house and family room was large comfortable and great for our card games and mahjong. Perfect!!!

Pros: This is a gorgeous property! Beautiful house and lawn, with a beautiful outdoor area and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 14 older senior siblings and spouses. Seating was plentiful for meals and socializing and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics and cookware. This is a perfect location for visiting Lancaster County. There were plenty of linens as well.
Cons: There is a musty damp smell that has permeated the whole house. There is no central air upstairs, only window units in the bedrooms which are not adequate to cool or dehumidify the area upstairs. The towels and washcloths never dry and have that musty smell as well once wet.
This home needs some maintenance: The dishwasher is evidently not level and, whenever the door is opened, the top basket comes sliding out, whether it is empty or full.
Neither the fan nor the heat lamp was working in my bathroom, only the light over the sink. (I didn’t check the other bedrooms)
Some of the seat cushions in the dining room chairs need updating. This is a beautiful set and we spent a lot of time eating and talking around this table…just the seats have gotten a little soft.
This house and location were perfect for us…but the musty smell would have to be gone for is to consider another stay.

The house was perfect for our group. Everyone was happy to have their own private bathroom within their room. The living room and dining room were large enough to accommodate our group of 12 adults and 1 child. Will be booking again next year!

My family and I had an amazing time at this beautiful home in Smoketown. Everything advertised was on point, and then some. Rooms were warm and welcoming, the kitchen, well-stocked, and the entire house was immaculate. We loved the quaint touches to make this house feel very much like “home”. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you!

We overall enjoyed the stay here. Three families stayed all with children and each room has their own bathroom which was amazing for us! Our only complaint was the musty smell in the bedrooms, it got a bit damp with the window air conditioner units on. Other than that the location was unmatched, 8 minutes from Dutch Wonderland, many restaurants and grocery stores. It is set off of a main road. You can see the horse and buggies from the front windows. Thank you for sharing your home!

Everyone in our group (gramas and grampas group enjoyed the home and remarked how great everything was. We all loved the fact that the bedrooms all had their own bathrooms. We enjoyed sitting outdoors in the morning drinking our coffee before beginning our shopping extravaganza!

This is our second visit to this house and we again thoroughly enjoyed it. Great back yard and patio to enjoy. we were a group of 7 couples so it was great to each have an ensuite.

This is the third year we have stayed in this house. The house is always clean and the host is always easy to reach and ready to accommodate any specific needs we may have. The roomy basement is perfect for our sewing projects. We also enjoy the large dining room and living room for socializing. I can't say enough about this beautiful home. All seven of us had a wonderful time and will definitely book again.

There was a group of 11 women that stayed here. We had a wonderful time! We all had plenty of space. We went to Sight and Sound Theater, Tanger Outlet, Visited quaint little shops and covered bridges and had a wonderful, clean and peaceful home to come back to, to get some much needed rest. We watched TV at night and had a bon fire in the evenings. We would highly recommend this home for others!

The house was amazing. A bathroom for every bedroom is pretty much heaven when you have a large group. Christmas tree all set up in living room. Plenty of space for any gathering. Hand painting on the walls in the rooms was beautiful. Outside grounds were well manicured and parklike. Outstanding place to stay.

I have a small group of friends from high school who've been getting together twice a year for over 30 years to play board games with multi-hour playtimes. We found this property perfect for our group. Plenty of table space with good lighting. Everyone had their own room with bath. I have only good things to say about this rental.

This was the perfect house for our recent stay with a large group of adults. The house was clean and in good order and included all of the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Be aware that the bathrooms are a bit small but plentiful as many of the bedrooms had an attached private bathroom with a shower. The check-in procedures were easy to follow and the check-out procedures were quite reasonable. I would most definitely stay at this home again!

Our group of 6 college friends had a wonderful stay at this property. We get together every year and this was one of the best VRBO properties we have ever rented. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own bedroom and their own bathroom, a real plus with six ladies getting ready at the same time. Everything was exactly as pictured in the amenities exactly as listed. The location was fabulous for shopping, sightseeing and there were plenty of restaurants near by. Communication with the property manager was easy and she responded quickly to any questions we had. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone! It was outstanding!

The property was ideally located, nice outdoor space to run around or have a meal. House was clean, rooms were perfect sized, enough towels, linens, nice kitchen and eating area. Really just right for our large extended family needs. Owners/managers super easy to communicate with.

This home is as beautiful. It was clean, spacious and fit our group of 9 perfectly. The fact that every bedroom had a bathroom was a huge bonus! The basement was a great hangout space for kids. The property was large with great amenities and the host was easy to communicate with. We will be returning next year! So much to see and do in Lancaster!

Lancaster visit
This beautiful home is even nicer in person than it appears in the listing. We came with our sons, daughters in law and 6 grandchildren all under 4. Plenty of room for all. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The hosts supplied so many creature comforts it was less for us to bring or buy. Any questions I had were met with a quick response and helped us in every way possible. The kids loved the playground in the back & sitting in front watching the horse & buggies go by. We enjoyed the beautiful yard in the day time & at night. We all would definitely come back again! (Only problem 2 more babies on the way! We may outgrow the house!) Thanks for letting us use your lovely home for our family vacation. Hope to be back!

Perfect Location
Conveniently located for visiting the Sight and Sound theater as well as enjoying the local shopping experiences. Wonderful backyard. We enjoyed using the firepit in the evening. The house was spacious enough for everyone to have their privacy.
