A gracious house in a beautiful setting.
This is our second stay at Ogier Cottage. As before we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and property are beautiful with ample room for friends and family. Lovely sunrises, the wind ruffling through the leaves, sail boats catching the evening light all made for a very special experience. We hope to be back!

Spacious, comfortable home, beautiful coastal setting
My wife and I spent a very enjoyable 11 days at Ogier Point Cottage. The home is located on the coast near the entrance to Camden Harbor. The property provides wonderful coastal views, sounds and breezes. The house is spacious with three large ensuite bedrooms and has a lovely, comfortable, relaxing ambience. It is a pleasant walk to Camden and a short drive to Rockport and Rockland for dining, shopping and museums. Mount Desert Island and its attractions are an easy day trip away. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, picturesque and very nice for leisurely walks. All in all it was a great place to spend 11 days away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. We couldn't recommend it more.

Magnificent setting looking out over Penobscot Bay. Great view from the bedrooms, living room, porch, path to the shoreline. House was neat and well appointed

Concerns raised by previous visitor had all been addressed by capable manager Kate Cohen. Basement has a new dehumidifier, poison ivy has been cleared, water filter has been replaced, and mattresses were very comfortable. We hope to return next summer!

We loved the home and the location. It was absolutely gorgeous.
This was a beautiful property. Located on 7 private acres overlooking the sound. We loved it. However the house had issues. When we arrived the house was not cleaned to our standards. The bathrooms were not cleaned appropriately and the house was dusty. The water pressure in the house was not adequate to stay there. We contacted Kate and she did a very good job of trying to correct the problems. She had her cleaning crew out there and a plumber that morning which we greatly appreciated. However it was disappointing overall to have to deal with these issues. It just seemed like no one was taking care of this lovely home. The main doors to the deck were broke so you had to go out of your way to enjoy the lovely deck and view. Lots of little things that were not right. The handle on the bathroom door that my boys and their wives were sharing was broke so no handle on the door for the week. So while we loved Camden and the potential of this property it did not live up the potential it had. We hope the owners take care of these issues so this home can be enjoyed as it should be.

Awesome Property
The perfect house for a getaway in Camden. Perfectly located on a gorgeous 7 acre property right on Penscabot Bay, and a short one mile walk right in to the center of Camden. Very homey and comfortable, well maintained and has everything you need. Highly recommend. And Kate Cohen is awesome to work with.

Beautiful location but house has been neglected
The location is ideal but the House has these issues:
1. Master bathroom gets no hot water
2. Path to water is covered in poison ivy
3. Kitchen appliances including coffee maker are outdated
4. Mattresses need to be replaced
5. Kitchen dishes are chipped.
6. Basement entertainment area is unusable because of mustiness.

Idyllic Coastal Property Near Town
Beautifully maintained substantial cottage with 3 en suite bedrooms and two additional twins in a room that shares one of the upstairs baths. This property offers relaxing privacy but is very near the heart of Camden (5 min drive, 20-25 min walk). Great view of Penobscot Bay with bell buoy ringing in distance. Lots of porch space but with nice shade.
This is the second time we have worked with Kate, who is an excellent manager. Very responsive, good communicator and well organized. We want to go back to Camden and would gladly work with her again. For those who are thinking about buying, her husband is a well-connected real estate agent. Good team!

Amazingly wonderful!
This cottage was a dream. Elegant and homey, restful and rejuvenating, we couldn’t have asked for more. Every detail was considered: comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of cozy nooks to enjoy a quiet read. The lovely decor and the magnificent ocean views magnified our whole experience of mid-coast Maine. I could only hope to have a chance to stay there again. It will haunt my dreams.
