Felt at home here, this place was perfect for our stay!

The bad: The unit was clean but could definitely use some deep cleaning. The floors were swept but not mopped well. We all had black feet from walking around barefoot the first evening. The rugs in the bathrooms hadn't been washed prior to our arrival. We put the bathroom rugs out with the laundry when we left so they hopefully get washed for the next guests. The bunk beds are appropriate for young children but we have 3 teens and for them they were awful to sleep on. They are bunk boards. The dishwasher did not work properly during our stay, so we had to handwash all our dishes. The house is on a VERY busy road/intersection so there is a lot of activity and road noise. The curtains are not noise muffling or light blocking AT ALL. The storage business and the Chevron across the road have bright exterior lighting so the south/front bedroom is lit up all night long (terrible if you're light-sensitive while sleeping).
The good: The home is cozy and is as described. Plentifully stocked kitchen, bath, linens with all the things you would need during your stay, besides the food. The fenced yard was larger than expected, which was nice for our 2 dogs to run and play. (Although cleaning up after previous dogs so that we wouldnt be blamed for poo left in the yard wasn't ideal).
The staff at Bloomer Estate Vacation Rentals was fantastic to work with. Their team was very responsive to the issues we faced (lockbox key and dishwasher).
Overall, we enjoined our stay & would reccomend.

It was relaxing but as we work we live in a 40 ft trailer so water is a big issue for showers so being restricted to shower put a damper on the stay we got 2 showers in before the red light came on. Witch I don’t understand why we didn’t use that much water before it went off. Then the internet was in and out then trying to watch moves the first night we could watch most of the apps and the next day we had nothing and the asked use to charge I hope was the owner of the house her email and card poped up on the screen that was uncomfortable. Beside that we loved the kids had a play area our grandson is 1 and loved the area with all the toys. Our teen loves his room. And the master room door doesn’t lock and with kids it was hard to spend time with my husband or get dressed. Besides that it’s a beautiful home. And very convenient by the gas station / store .

The house was charming and immaculate! It was cozy with lots of rooms and nice upgrades. The location was close to the beach and good restaurants, although we didn’t want to open any curtains as there was minimal privacy from businesses and neighbors. The property manager was both responsive and accommodating. There were minor inconveniences and a few repairs are needed, and the hidden and “miscellaneous” fees were a bit excessive. Overall, a positive experience.

Nice, pet and toddler friendly house. A bit dated, which we expected. Unfortunately, the only TV we could get to work was the living room, the dishwasher didn’t work (dishes still dirty after running it twice) and the biggest disappointment was the garage that is set up as a kids toy area, smelt very strong of cigarette smoke.
All and all, we had a wonderful time and the house met our needs, although not likely we will stay again.

Good place at a lower price than other family vacation homes in the area. It’s not huge and it show signs of wear, however, everything worked fine for my group of four adults and four young kids. The cooler with wheels and sand toys for kids were great to have!
There were no issues with sort of close proximity to major road, gas station, and restaurant.
The walk to the beach is a bit long and same with walking into downtown. Easy enough to do for able-bodied folks–around 15-20 minutes for both–but not a few blocks away. Of course driving is an option although parking close to the beach is tricky because there’s not a lot of close lots.

This is one of the best Vacation Rentals we have stayed in! So well stocked and the drive to the beach or into town is really straight forward. My kids loved the play room, and it was nice to be able to bring the dog. It was a bit of a bummer to be location near a busy intersection because the fence is chain link so not a lot of privacy. This was literally the only downside though, and I would recommend this place to my friends!

Great little spot for family getaway
The house was clean and ALL bed were comfortable! We especially loved that they had a ton of games for us to enjoy on the rainier days. There were also great communicators!

The property was well maintained and clean. The kitchen was docked with just about everything imaginable to meet your cooking needs which was absolutely fabulous. I was traveling with my elderly parents and they are not big on eating out and this just made their stay so much better. The pet friendly back yard was a blessing. The beds were very comfortable. If there was one minus, it would be the pillows were a little flat but there were so many that you had plenty to chose from to get a good night sleep.

Affordable place to stay with many amenities. Having the yard for our two smaller pups was a plus. Only complaint is the musty house smell that would not go away. We left the stove vent on most of the time and luckily the weather was great during our stay to let air flow through the home. Nothing a couple candles can't fix. We would for sure stay here again if it's just our small family only again. More than 4 people with pets could be a little cramped.

With four kids and a dog, it is difficult to find affordable, adequate vacation homes to fit everyone! Through a promotion, we got this property for a good price, and it was excellent. One room had space for four to sleep (bunk bed and a pull out day bed), so our three oldest children (8, 6 and 4) slept there, while our youngest (2) had his own room. My husband and I enjoyed having an en-suite bathroom, and the bath tub in the other bathroom worked well for bathing our kids. Initially, we were a little worried about the location due to potential noise (the kids don’t sleep—we don’t sleep). It is across the street from a gas station and next door to a tavern. However, it was very quiet and noise was not an issue. The gas station was actually very conveniently located for us when we needed to pick up some cough drops. We also ordered food from the tavern, and it was nice to be able to walk a short distance to pick it up. The yard was fully fenced, which despite the poor weather, was great for our younger children and our dog.The garage was set up like an additional play space, with a tv and lots of toys. The washing machine and dryer were also a huge bonus. The kitchen was extremely stocked. We really enjoyed our time at the Handy Hangout.

Overall a great experience. Location was good for us, the house was equipped with games and all the supplies we needed. The arrangement of the furniture was awkward, and we would suggest labeling the remotes. The yard was good size for our pest.

The location was great for us - the guys went fishing off of Cranberry Rd, gas station/convenient store right across the street, bakery and bar with great pizza next door and a friendly neighbor behind us. We only drove to get fresh oysters from Ilwaco otherwise stayed in the house to work remotely and relax with family. The manager was always replying within an hour even before we booked the house. There was a light that wasn't working outside which they tried to fix but ended up being an issue with the whole light fixture. And the fridge had a fishy smell when we arrived but we were able to wipe it down and got rid of the smell. There is a stale cigarette smell in the garage but it didn't bother us since we weren't in the garage that much. Otherwise everything was EXCELLENT. Also what really amazed me and my family the most was their honesty... My mother in law realized a couple days after we got back home (3 hours drive) that she left her wedding ring set and a black Sapphire ring at the rental when she couldn't find it at home. When I reached out to the manager, she said her cleaners found the rings and brought it to her. She mailed it as soon as she could and we received them safely. We are already looking to book our next rental with Bloomer Estates!

Great place right across from the beach and a bakery
Having this location right next to a bakery was amazing. We could also walk right to the discovery trail and enjoy miles and miles of beach walking. Loved our stay here.
