Situated in Fraser, this lovely house for $375 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Ahhh mountain living at it’s best. Quiet location, yet just a short walk (less than a mile) from dining, shopping, music, and all the happenings of Down Town Winter Park. Townhouse style condo (no one living above you!) End unit with TONS of room for the whole family, and all of your friends too! Step out the front door and jump on the free ski shuttle for a less than 10 minute ride to Winter Park Resort, or put on your cross country skis, snowshoes, or running shoes, and head out on the endless miles of trails in the National Forest. Enjoy a fun filled day in the mountains, then come home to relax on the private patio or deck, and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. This is the mountain retreat you have been searching for! The town of Winter Park has an incredible amount of great restaurants, fun bars, a bike and skate park, playground, free live music every Thursday in the summer, numerous festivals, great shopping, and fishing. Winter offers snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skating, tubing, and of course world class skiing. The Grand Park Community Rec Center can be accessed with the Lift shuttle and boasts a water slide, lazy river, and gymnastics room. There are 2 nearby grocery stores: The new Fireside Market and Eatery in Winter Park, and Safeway in the neighboring town of Fraser. Both can be accessed by the Lift shuttle service. The house has been newly decorated, with updated bedding, pillows, furniture and kitchenware. The kitchen has all of your essentials, including full size refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, coffee pot, crock pots. Dining room seats 10, with additional 3 seats at kitchen island. Or enjoy one of the many fine restaurants in town. Bedroom layout: Master King Bedroom, with sink/vanity, and private balcony King Bedroom with sink/vanity Queen Bedroom Bunk Room with full size bunks and full size trundle A dresser and ample closet space in each bedroom Bathrooms: Downstairs has shower stall, toilet, sink. This is also where the laundry is located. Upstairs is a full bathroom with tub. Families can be accommodated with pack-n-play (with sheets), baby monitors, high chair (secures to the dining chair), booster seat, baby gate for the stairwell, and potty seat in the downstairs bathroom. There are even tub toys located in the upstairs hall closet! Kid games, toys and books are located in the bunk room. There is also a TV/DVD player in the bunk room (cable is not hooked up in this room) with some movies provided. There are coloring supplies for your little artist located in the TV cabinet. Please no markers or crayons upstairs. Other accommodations include a wood burning fireplace, cable with Apple TV, Blue-Ray/DVD player, games are located in the TV cabinet. WiFi included at no extra charge. Outdoor seating in a semi-private area with views of the mountains and plenty of room for the kiddos to explore. There is parking for two vehicles in front of the unit. We have a strict no smoking policy, and there are also quiet hours from 10p to 7:30 am. While we do have a dog (for those with pet allergies), our house is cleaned regularly, and the HOA does not allow renters to have dogs. We kindly ask you be courteous to our neighbors with your adherence to these polices.

The hosts and property made for a great, easy week long getaway. The property has all the amenities for adults and kids to be able to enjoy their time away. The location is conducive to skiing and anything you might need in town. The hosts were very responsive to all questions prior to arrival. The townhouse was absolutely fantastic. It was well stocked with anything you may need including kitchen spices, cooking tools, food storage containers, first aid items, kids toys galore, puzzles and family games. The beds and pillows were extremely fresh and comfortable. Communication with the owners was very pleasant and accessing the unit was very easy. The unlisted perk of this unit was the proximity to the bus line- only 2 minutes from the door to the bus stop and it was one of the first stops making it ideal for grabbing a seat. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We were a family of six - two teenagers, granma 2 adults and a 9 year old. The home had what we needed, specifically 5 beds and a well stocked kitchen for eating all meals at home. The location on the shuttle line was convenient when we used it. No complaints whatsoever and would recommend this home for friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay for 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 17-10 for the long weekend. Very cute place, nicely decorated and arranged and had everything you need for a temporary homebase. We had a bear walk right across the patio while we were eating breakfast inside at the table the first morning so that was pretty awesome. The owners were easy to work with and the location was great. We loved our time in the Bear’s Den!

9 of us went to Colorado to spend time with my son and his wife and enjoy the winter scenery. The condo was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. We cooked every day and there was plenty of dishes/ gadgets. We really enjoyed it and would stay again.

This property is in a good location. Close to town, but not on the busy Main Street. It was well stocked. We all agreed the bedding was fantastic! We didn’t have young kids with us, but it is well equipped for little ones. The huge dining table is great. The kitchen is well stocked, but a little on the small side.

We stayed at the Bear's Den for a week and could not be more delighted at the stay at this condo! It was spotlessly clean. We have stayed at a lot of condo rentals over the years and have never had one that was this stocked with supplies, from literally everything you could need for kitchen supplies, to number of towels, to bathroom supplies, cleaning supplies, games, etc. Wonderful that we didn't have to think of or purchase all of these things. The hosts had excellent communication with us throughout. We liked the automatic check-in process as well. The condo has a great location and easy walking to the downtown Winter Park area. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to vacation in the Winter Park area.

We have rented many condos in Winter Park and this was one of our favorites! Our group was 3 families and the kitchen had enough dishes, utensils and pots and pans for us so prepare meals! The table was also big enough for us to sit down and eat together! The kids room was great! There were games, toys and bunk beds to accommodate lots of kids! We definitely want to rent this condo again for our annual ski trip! Thank you for sharing your home in Winter Park! We really enjoyed our time!

We had such a wonderful experience with this condo. The location was incredibly convenient and it was a perfect size for my extended family. We had a couple of rainy days and the toys and movies were perfect. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Winter Park and will keep it on our list in the future!

We spent a weekend here, there were two families of four each, and it was plenty of space. Great spot for kids, with toys and bunk beds. Kitchen was fully stocked and we loved the spacious dining room and living rooms. Beds were comfy and we loved having sinks in the bedrooms. Easy bus ride to Winter Park and other amenities. Highly recommended!

This property is well cared for and well stocked. My extended family of 10 liked it and had enough space to spend a happy 6 days here. The owners are very easy to work with and attentive. This was our second year to enjoy this property and look forward to next time.

Enjoyed our time, awesome set up for kids with lots of toys and bunk bedroom. Was a little cramped, but we had 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 7 when there, which is going to be cramped for anyone. Chad and Heather were very helpful when we had questions or concerns.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the property was perfect. We were a group of seven and when we pulled into the property at about 530pm. Other guests were outside talking. While we were inside unpacking I got a text that there was a noise complaint. At first we were confused because we literally JUST got in the door, not even playing music or a loud tv. Come to find out there was a black bear spotted near the dumpster and the people outside screamed (understandable). I suspect the neighbor that complained, had no idea what the circumstances were. In any case, we deliberately tried to keep our voices down, but we were also going to enjoy our vacation. With that being said, We probably would not suggest this place to more than four people because voices carry and the "noise sensitive" neighbor is indeed sensitive! The place is very clean and I would stay again...just not with as many people.
