Lieu en nature et plus authentique

J'ai adoré la vue depuis la chambre sur la nature, la gentillesse et l'amabilité des hôtes (qui peuvent vous aider dans tout si besoin), pouvoir rencontré les villageois autour et voir un côté plus authentique et moins touristique .

Une vue sur la mer magique, de la superbe bonne nourritures ! Un personnel absolument adorable !

Super établissement ! Le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle ! Ils proposent d’amener les scooter directement à la villa qui est un peu loin du port. Mais vraiment un séjour mémorable! Je conseille très très fortement pour quelques nuits à Nusa Penida rien de mieux !!

Fantastic Stay

I loved stayed at Atuh Forest Cottage. I had the best stay ever. Gede (the owner) and his wife provided the best hospitality I have come across in a long time. Very peaceful setting. Close to Atuh beach and diamond beach The food is very good and I highly recommend

Outstanding stay 😊

We absolutely loved our stay! 🫶🏼 The hosts were very smiling, pleasant and kind people who made us feel at home. The food was amazing and tasted so good! Vegetarian options available for animal lover! 💚🌱 The room was beautiful and the bed linen very confortable. It was very calm, peaceful, in nature. We really enjoyed the presence of their dog Pretty, who was adorable! It was very nice to see a happy dog ❤️ We will definitely come back soon to see you and Pretty 🐶 Thank you!!!

Wspaniała rodzinna atmosfera

Wspaniałe miejsce na łonie natury z pięknym widokiem na morze, wspaniała atmosfera, bardzo mili i pomocni właściciele oraz ich dzieci jak również wspaniały piesek Pretty, blisko plaży Atuh oraz Diamond Beach, możliwość wynajęcia skutera, pyszne jedzenie. Po wyjeździe było nam smutno, będziemy tęsknić za tym miejscem i za tymi ludźmi. Jeśli kiedykolwiek jeszcze będziemy na Nusa Penida zatrzymamy się na pewno tutaj. Dzięki takim właścicielom pobyt jest czystą przyjemnością.

The best place in Penida

The place is amazing, the family is so kind and helpful for everything (scooter rent, boat ticket, transportation and more) The food are very delicious and very good price. The A/C is very good, the view from the balcon is just amazing. Excellent rapport quality/price. I highly recommand this place.

Un oasis de paix sur une paradisiaque !

Absolument tout! La gentillesse de la famille d’accueil, la prise en charge de l’organisation de nos activités (réservation de snorkeling, transport, visite, possibilité de prendre les 3 repas délicieusement faits maison dont le petit-déjeuner avec plusieurs choix, cadre exceptionnel, l’emplacement idéal pour visiter l’est de Nusa Penida, le décor authentique et soigné, la vue sur l’océan au milieu de la forêt !!!

S’il faut vraiment écrire quelque chose je dirais peut-être le wifi instable dans la chambre. Mais cela ne m’a pas tant dérangé.

Estancia tranquila pero alejada sin cobertura

El desayuno en la terraza con las vistas fue estupendo, el personal amable y nos facilitó contacto para tour y traslado en coche. También se hicieron cargo de llevarnos de las maletas.

Desde donde deja el ferry el camino toma más de una hora en coche, no está próximo a bares, servicios, etc. Los gallos (no uno, varios) se pasaron toda la mañana uno detrás de otro cantando por lo que a partir de las 5 difícil dormir ya. El wifi no iba bien y no había cobertura, por lo que si se necesita algo aprovechad a la llegada y en el desayuno para cerrarlo porque si no llamar o whatsapp es complicado. Llevad efectivo para pagar porque no hay ATM cerca.

Best experience from our 3 weeks trip

Very nice peaceful place out of the main tourist streams but very close to nice Atuh and Diamond beach. Excelet food. Very helpful host Gede organize arrival, transports and whole day car trip with driver. Strongly recommend.

Wonderful connection with nature and balines culture.

Even though the place is far from the main attractions concentrated on the west side of the island, you have a wonderful connection with the nature, calm, relax and great views to the forest and ocean. The bungalows are comfortable and the staff prepare you delicious food everyday. Gede and his wife are a beautiful family that will assist you in anything you need!!!

Lovely staff, but overall pretty mediocre with inconvenient location.

Staff were super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They even had a cute pup (Pretty) helping to welcome the guests. Nice view from restaurant area.

Location: basically no restaurants or markets anywhere close to the area. Cost almost 300,000 IDR each way to reach from the port. Lots of ants and bugs in the room Value for money is low compared to other places we stayed at. Food was very mediocre.

Fantastic property

This place was far above our expectations. The owners were very friendly, caring and helpful. Genuine hospitality they provided to us was better than in 5 start hotels in Dubai :) The views are wonderful and the whole atmosphere in this cottages can't be explained, it should be experienced - so serene and peaceful, surrounded by nature with the local village vibe. Food was authentic Balenese homemade, portions were huge and it was very very tasty. The cottage is cozy is was cleaned every day. You will have everything you need inside. Bathroom and bedsheets were clean. The owner's cute puppy was very friendly with us and we miss her :)

exceptional place next to the most beautiful and fairly quiet beach Atuh Beach. Place is run by a lovely couple. Gede is very helpful with organizing transport whenever you need and his wife will cook you the most delicious homemade meals. I hope I can come back one day and stay for longer.

Lovely experience in a beautiful nature spot

I spent 3 weeks in Bali and changed hotels every few days, stayed in lots of luxury 5 star accomodation but my favourite part about my entire trip was going to Nusa Penida and staying in Atuh Forest Cottage. it's a beautiful spot in nature and the family that run it are the nicest people. I wish I could of stayed longer! it's a great spot close to Diamond Beach & Atuh Beach. The home made food was great there too - I can't wait to return.

Bellissimo 👏🏻

Such a comfy place to stay! perfect for the couples and single travelers! this is the place where you can easily get a delicious meal from the owner and his friendly family! You can easily rent a bike, get a few personal advices about traveling around and do not hesitate to order a vehicle for picking up yourself from one of the harbors! we enjoyed our stay and wish the owner only the best!

incredibly beautiful place! The hosts are a very hospitable and caring couple. Helped with excursions. Arranged transfer from the boat station. I don't drive a bike and Gede drove me to the beach and back. Very tasty food. Thanks a lot! One of the best places in Nusa Penida. I recommend!

Perfect.

This is an amazing place! Google Maps has more in-depth reviews that give more colour to this place! The host Gede is a true gentleman exhibiting the best of Balinese hospitality. Location: Tucked in the Eastern part of Nusa Penida, it's a quiet and tranquil place away from the bustle of the Northern ports and Eastern touristy beaches. We rented a scooter which is something you'd probably need to do in Nusa Pendia anyway since ride-hailing apps do not serve this island (as-of 2023). It is a 1-hour ride through small paved roads from the Northern harbour, and about 1-1.5 hours to the Eastern beaches. It is very close, 20 minutes by scooter, to Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach, both amazing in their own right. There were convenience stores around within 10 minutes walk, but no restaurants within walking distance. But that is not a problem if you read my Food section below. Due to the remote location, you do not get street noises at night but just serene silence and amazing stars in the sky. As the cottage was in the Forest, some other reviews have commented on the roosters calling in the morning and evening. Yes they were loud but I got used to them after the first day. I'd very much rather hear them than blaring exhaust from trucks and scooters! Watch my attached video for a rooster calling! ...

There is nothing I can say here. The stay was perfect.

Exceptional place for a very good price

Everything was fantastic! The room is very spacious, clean, bed is very comfortable, balcony and the view it’s amazing at the side of the island where sun rises, to sunrises from balcony were magical. Included breakfast were so tasty, and all orher meals from the menu, havent ate out, cause food was so good. Close to Atuh and Diamond beach, very quiet and peaceful area. People there were very friendly and social. Owners are just the kindest and friendliest people, felt like at home, got so much information about what to see in island and about the culture, the island, about hindu religion. The best stay in Bali, can’t wait to come back! Would definately reccomend

The hospitality on arrival to our departure was friendly and very welcoming. Our host advized us with good local knowledge and assisted transport for all of our needs to visit some of the lovely snorkling spots on the island. It is a delightful family business. The food was great and alot of it homegrown. The view from the cottages were beautiful.
