We loved staying at this house for our October trip to the Cape. We were 2 families, each with 2 adults and 2 kids. We had plenty of space for everyone (the unfinished basement was surprisingly perfect for the kids to hang out in!), and the location was lovely. Right by a trail to gorgeous Nickerson, and close to lots of food and beach options. The hosts were very kind and welcoming (they even included a very thoughtful welcome package with local goodies). Would definitely stay here again!!

The house was in a private area. Unbelievably quiet, especially at night. Stars....what a view! Stood on the front walkway and enjoyed the quiet time. We TRIED to hear some noise - good luck with that! "Chill" used in the listing description is a perfect use of the word. Super nice place and immaculately kept.
GREAT recommendations from the hosts. So, you expect to eat seafood when visiting. Some of the best. However, for a change of pace, don't snooze on the pizza recommendation to grab a slice in PTown - Spiritus Pizza. Who the heck gave that less than 5 stars??
Back to the house...Firepit, washer and dryer, screened porch, fireplace, games, beach chairs - all the conveniences of home. Very close to the beaches. You could pick a more expensive place on a beach, but why? You're going to end up driving to check out other beaches anyways! Great centrally located launching point for Provincetown, Chatham, etc.
Don't hesitate to stay here. Hosts were there if needed. We happened to slide in and out under the radar due to the seamless check in process which made us feel like we were returning to our own vacation home. Sincerely, I can't say enough great things about our experience. THANK YOU SO MUCH! HH & Family

Our stay at Kellie and Wendy’s home was everything we could have asked for and more! The home was clean, well cared for and as advertised under construction in the basement but even this area was able to be used and well kept. We are very excited to see how the basement looks finished! Such a great space :) we were so happy with all the beach gear provided, the chairs and amazing beach cart! The screened porch was wonderful to start the day on with a cup of coffee and the fire pit was the perfect ending to our day. It was so nice being so close to so many beaches. Wendy and Kellie responded quickly to my inquires and were so nice to work with.
We will definitely be back next summer!

Starting our vacation in a clean house let us know that the people we were renting from truly care about their guests. Our hosts were available if we needed anything and provided more amenities than some of the other places we’ve rented. We throughly enjoyed the updates that were made and our son found the games (especially UNO) a big hit. We have never rented the same place twice but that might change after staying at this wonderful home (the might is because its so great others may beat us to the click).

Our family of 2 adults and 3 adult kids enjoyed our week and the weather in Brewster. Every day we walked into Nickerson on the dirt road off the cul-de-sac and hiked around Cliff Pond, Little Cliff Pond or Flax Pond. We like the large, convenient grocery store less than a mile away, either bike rental shop in Brewster, the Cape Cod bike trail directly across 6A, Arnold's and Cape Escape mini-golf, Emack and Bolio's for ice cream, Brewster's Crosby Beach, Nauset Beach, The Knack for take-out, Harbor Street Grill, the beautiful (and sunny) National Seashore trails in Wellfleet, The Captain's golf course and driving range in Brewster, Mike's Dragonfly fishing charter boat service and fishing with our poles in the deep part of Cliff Pond near the boat rentals. The stocked kitchen and gas grill work well when you want to cook and eat at the house. The beds are new and comfy. We'll be back!

We are 2 families of 9 vacationing on the Cape for 14 years. This summer was unique in that 4 of our 5 kids were only joining us for 5 of the 13 days we spent in Wendy and Kellie’s house. As the house was advertised for 10, we went for it.
When we were just 5 (4 adults and 1 early teen), the house lived well enough. The house was clean and uncluttered; the king bed was very comfortable and the rest of the beds were fine. The pillows were quite cheap so if you’re reading this, bring your own!
There were enough seats at the dinner table and the LR provided space for our initial group in the evening for games and “the” puzzle. Our biggest issues at that point were a dirty grill, the absence of an outdoor shower (a first for us and a big bummer), and the bunk room’s due-east orientation. We taped tin foil to the windows to prevent 5:30 a.m. wake ups. A room for kids *should* have room-darkening shades.
When the older teens (16,17,17,18) arrived, our vision of all of them in the bunk room flopped. The bunk beds were too flimsy for anyone over 40 lbs to sleep on the top bunk. We moved 2 kids to the basement hang out and both had reactions to the exposed pink insulation in the ceiling. This was NOT a finished hang out space by any means.
And, if a house is advertised for 10, it should hold 10 in every space. The kitchen was too tight for that many people and we ran out of dishes and glasses every day; the DR table and the patio couldn’t hold the group together; and the LR only really seated 4, maybe 5. The 2nd floor bathroom needed hooks for 8 towels because that’s how many people can sleep upstairs (and open shelving for everyone’s toiletries and not that small cabinet that opens the wrong way). Additionally, there was little -to-no pantry space. There was a tiny kitchen closet with 2 shelves and room over the fridge for the food we brought.
The bonuses: Wendy and Kellie provide bath towels, beach chairs and sand toys. Getting in was very easy. They left us flowers and local goodies, which was a lovely personalized touch. The backyard was very private and green - the adults enjoyed our coffee on the screened porch every morning.
This house should be advertised for 6-8, not 10. Especially not 10 fully grown humans in 1400 sq ft.
And, there is no recycling. Both bins are for garbage.

This property is ideal for groups interested in a simple rental with a focus on cleanliness and proximity to activities in the middle-cape. The house was sparkling clean, beds were comfy, and all appliances worked like a charm. The screened porch was lovely to sit on in the mornings and evenings. The host was easy to reach and offered lots of insights on the area. The grocery store Shaw's is a mere 3 minutes away, which comes in handy. If you hope to use the "trail" into Nickerson Park, note that it is not suitable for most children under 12 to bike on (very rough gravel/holes/loose sand). Also, access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail requires crossing a busy road and the rail trail itself requires riding short distances on busy roads at certain points.

Another great vacation for our active family
This was our second stay (a family of 5 adults) at this property, and once again every day we took full advantage of the Cape Cod Rail Trail across the street and/or the short back-road walk into Nickerson to walk the trails around the lake, go to the beaches and/or fish. I'd also like to point out that (unlike some Cape properties) we never saw a single bug in this house this year or last. This house has everything you will need for a week, and the beds and propane grill are new and good quality. The house is very close to a big grocery store, bike rentals, restaurants, coffee shops, a bakery, ice cream, and a golf course. Lastly, the owner is very prompt to reply to every text.

Lived up to expectations
We are a pair of grandparents, mom and dad in their 40s and two children under 6. There is a lot positive to say about this house. 1. The house is exactly as shown. 2. Everything is well cared for and very very clean. 3. Highly recommend this home and it’s location mid cape and right off route 6 allows for easy travel. We definitely would stay there again. 4. Communication was immediate and spot on and as wonderful as the house is. 5 star house for sure.
That said there are two things to just make you aware of. 1. The driveway is very steep. If you have a choice of cars don’t bring the one with a low bottom. Take your time going in and out. It’s not impossible, just be aware. 2. There are no room darkening shades in the bedrooms. We noticed that several before us solved the problem by taping or tacking something over the windows in the kids room. I’d suggest that the adults bring sleep eye shades.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and for the lovely welcome basket. We had a great time and will recommend your home to anyone talking about a trip to the Cape.

Lovely Place for a Family Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Owl Pond Road. The house was very spacious, immaculately clean, well equipped and located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk down the road to Cliff Pond in Nickerson State Park. What a beautiful spot for an afternoon swim! The house is also conveniently situated. We loved being so close to the grocery store, bike trails and bay side beaches, while at the same time being within convenient striking distance of Marconi beach on the ocean side. We had a great week!

Everything was seamless- from the moment we booked to the time we left. Communication with the owners was clear and they were responsive. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked several dinners and the kitchen is amply supplied. There was plenty of outdoor seating for the fire pit and a screened in porch that we used often to drink our morning coffee, read and hang out. We rode our bikes and walked daily on the rail trail which was right down the street! A few minutes up the road is the grocery store and downtown Orleans. The house comfortably slept our group of 7. I did wish for an outside shower- just to be able to rinse off from the beach- but having a nice sized walk in shower on the first floor made up for that! Great place, great location!

Our family of 5 active adults enjoyed our stay here. Quiet town. Quiet neighborhood. Newly remodeled house. Very clean. Good mattresses. Nice screened porch. Great gas grill. On the Brewster/Orleans border and very convenient to Nickerson State Park, the Cape Cod Rail Trail (across the street), bike rentals, restaurants, ice cream, mini-golf, Brewster beaches. Each morning we walked 1 mile out the door and down a dirt road that emptied onto the paved Nickerson road (take a left or a right) where we could walk on tended trails around beautiful ponds, fish from the shore (there is a deep-water spot off the beach close to the Cliff Pond parking lot), go to one of many sandy, secluded beaches on the ponds, rent kayaks and boats, and run on the connecting dirt roads. House has all the beach items you will need (beach bag, chairs, towels, small cooler). The quiet, cool basement was a good place to work on a card table located down there. Hosts were very responsive if you need to contact them. We will be back!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay here in Brewster/ Orleans. The house was immaculate - probably a little larger than the three of us needed - but we knew that going in. We were mostly sold by the firepit! We did enjoy that in the evening. It's a great location, as we wanted to spent time in Provincetown and Sandwich, and this location is about midway between the two. I made a couple small suggestions to the owner after our stay, which they immediately took care of. I would highly recommend this lovely home for your Cape Cod stay.
