Situated in Oden, this charming chalet for $597 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Ideally located, you are invited to this Petoskey Michigan lakefront chalet family vacation rental of unmatched beauty and unrivaled seasonal activities. This Chalet offers year attractions including water sports steps from your door, great snowmobiling to miles of trails, skiing, golfing and absolutely gorgeous views of the lake. With all the area has to offer with its unique shops, boutiques and art galleries located in Petoskey's Gas Light District and Harbor Springs, shopping should definitely be on you list of things to do. You may also want to see if Lady Luck is with you at the Odawa Casino in town. The shared resort offers 450 feet of waterfront access, with a one-of-a-kind shallow, hard bottom, sandy beach that stretches out at least 300 ft., with only waist deep water. This combination of beach and park-like atmosphere makes this location the most desirable on Crooked Lake. The CIRCULAR STAIRCASE leads to the two bedrooms on the second floor. Two bedrooms on the lower lever. Sorry. NO pets allowed. The park-like property also features a private marina, with two slips available for your water crafts of up to 26 feet. Also included is a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, multiple fire pits and most of all, a tranquil setting for relaxing on a wooden swing, to watch the boats go by, read a novel or watch the fantastic sunrises or sunsets from the point. From the lake, you can cruise the famous and historic inland waterway. It starts on Crooked Lake, goes to Burt Lake to Mullett Lake, then out to Lake Huron! There are two marinas located within 2 miles for your watercraft rental needs. Fall is a special time of year when the trees come alive with vibrant colors. Many areas to view the color changes are great, but there is nothing as commanding as the Tunnel of Trees, along the shore of Lake Michigan. This area is just north of Harbor Springs about 20 minutes from your Petoskey Waterfront Rental. Skiing and snowmobiling makes this the Midwest's Premier Winter Destination, with trails just waiting to be ridden. The ski resorts of Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob are only about 10 minutes from your chalet. The snowmobile trails are right out your door! Ice skating, sledding sleigh rides and ice fishing are also just a sampling of what is in store for you during your dream vacation. Spring time bring out colorful blooms and the 21 championship golf courses open for the avid golfer, which are all within 25 miles of the resort. Hikers will also enjoy this time of the year, for its many trails and paths are waiting to be explored once again. Do not forget to visit the mighty Mackinaw Bridge and Island. We loved this little house right on the water. Big on sleeping space, though a little tight for congregating as a whole group in any one space, it fit the bill for the six adults we had. Host was very communicative and flexible. Thanks, it was a great stay!

This was a beautiful property that was well located in the middle of many of the area's popular attractions. This is a beautiful area in the fall, and it's perfect to come back to a fire on the private beach. The balcony that overseas the lake that is attached to one of the bedrooms, is amazing to lay out on at night time and watch the stars. I would recommend this place a 100%

This was one of our best stays. We came to celebrate my moms 80th birthday and for a quick weekend getaway this was just what we wanted. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with all modern amenities. The beds were super comfy and we all had a blast. It did rain but staying inside and playing games made it such a great getaway and the town for shopping was super close. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Thanks Jim for a wonderful place to stay

We loved the area and the views. The upstairs deck was amazing. We brought a boat and the little private marina was so helpful. It was perfect for us. Location was great. Thank you!!

Beautiful setting, walkout to the beach was the best part! We had a great time spent as a family!! We used the basketball court to play many hours of four square. So many laughs! We had a bon fire almost every night! Nice that tge house was so close to Petoskey. We all throughly enjoyed ourselves!!

This property was exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of great outdoor space and right on the water. There were enough bedrooms for the everyone to have their own space. The location was super convenient to everywhere we wanted to go.
The washer/dryer was a big plus as well!!!
James was responsive when we had questions leading up to and during the stay.
We were a little surprised by the number of bugs inside the home, but that is to be expected to some extent when you are on the water like this.
There are also neighbors on the shared grounds and not a lot of guidance about community guidelines with some playing basketball right outside at midnight, chairs being taken off the deck for campfires by others, and trash being left on the beach. Not dealbreakers by any means, but some community guidelines would be helpful.
We will definitely be trying to book with James again in the future!

We enjoyed this property and our vacation so much . This house is so well equipped down to the last marshmallow roasting fork that we didn’t need to purchase anything extra. We had a beach out our front door that our 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed everyday. We enjoyed watching her from the covered deck and ate all our meals on the deck picnic table. The house was immaculate and it was great to have the stackable washer dryer in the house. The other cottages owners and vacationers were so nice also!

This property was great. The setup is wonderful! Our host let us have a little later check out which was so helpful since we had littles. The lake view is beautiful and access to everything in the surrounding towns is key.

Had a great time in the cabin. Sitting out by the fire pit was great at night. Property was clean but there was some noise from the road but didn’t really bother us much. Would recommend.

We had the best time! The house is steps from the very nice beach. Beautiful property! Kitchen is well equipped. We loved the picnic table on the little deck for lunch/snack time. The property is a perfect location for visiting Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We had such a fabulous time!!

This house was the perfect size for our family! It was very clean and as pretty as in the pictures! Beautiful location and beach with wonderful views of the lake! We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings! Very close to grocery store, Gaslight District, Adventure Golf, and Harbor Springs!

Perfect spot and comfy beds!
This place was perfect for a ski weekend with friends. House had everything we needed the beds were super comfortable, unlike many rentals. Had everything we needed for a great stay, including a priceless view of Crooked Lake. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent food nearby, we liked Northwood Family Restaurant which is just down the street. Fire pit and beach area were great and beautiful view of sunset on the lake. The upstairs bathroom was nice, seemed like it was recently updated. Overall good experience would stay here again.
