The property is in a lovely quiet bush setting and the hosts are delightful.
There was nothing we disliked although there is a small bit of dirt road driving to get there.

Very accommodating hosts John and Nora the best breakfasts

The View and the bed.
Access to garage! Access to front door. Lack of signage on arrival at garage level. Almost impossible to find at night (needs solar light at entrance). Host slept in front of TV and heater (we sat on side lounge) until we went to bed.

Breakfast was brilliant

The space, the quiet, the owners, the breakfast. Also there is alternate accommodation available in a self contained small house
The stairs (my wife has difficulty on stairs particularly with no hand rails) as no mention of this type of access is noted. Moving bags was also difficult

Jon and Nora are both lovely, there are plenty of amenities, and the location was secluded but close enough to everything.
A clearer sign out the front would be helpful as the GPS signal is inaccurate as to the exact location

The property and its surroundings were so beautiful. The facilities were excellent and we made good use of the pool and tennis court. John and Nora were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay perfect- which it certainly was!
Everything was nice and clean, breakfast each morning was delicious and John was kind enough to drop us to and from the bus stop. It really felt like home from home.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough and if we’re back in Noosa we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful setting. Ideal for just relaxing. The breakfast was excellent. The host was very interesting to talk to over breakfast.
We would have liked our own TV. We were a bit surprised the host cooked and ate so close. we would have liked to have a bit more space.

Idyllically located in the Noosa Hinterland lived up to its namesake. John welcomed us into his home and regaled us with yarns of his very colourful life. Sadly we had to push on but would love to return and stay a little longer in their 'holiday with nature' cabin. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

John and Nora have a wonderful property and are great hosts . The breakfast was wonderful. We rode our tandem bike and with a few punctures we had great help from John and Nora. This property would be a great base for gravel bike riders wanting to test themselves on Sanchey or Jampot Rd

The breakfast was good apart from not getting coffee after we asked for it.
There was a shared bathroom/toilet which wasn’t made clear in the description. Our bedroom was tiny, reeked overwhelmingly of cheap perfume and looked out on the entry porch. A lot of the property was rundown and mildewy, not like the “grand country house” impression you are given in the description.

Lovely Hinterland home
driving late at night meant we got a bit lost but it was part of the adventure !

Since the minute one the owner had a disrespectful and rude treat to us and made our Christmas evening our worst experience ever!
We have been discriminated and he shouted at us. And, even after we explained why we arrived later than expected (because only one of us was driving and we decided to stop some minutes to rest, and that we tried to called but he did not picked up), he made us feel like trash.
We have been asked to wear a mask and showed our vaccination calendar (we asked for the QR code and he stated he did not have one), what we absolutely agreed to show and wear.
What is more, we needed a place to stay and as we have had payed for it we tried to stay. However, he kept on discriminating us for being from overseas, and to be honest the room was not even what the website shows.
We have a conversation recorded and a video of the room. We couldn’t tolerate it much more and we decided to leave the place at 8:16 pm even we knew we didn’t have another place to go.

Beautiful location, flowers and exotic plants everywhere, spacious, clean and a great breakfast served by John in the outside gazebo.
A pool and tennis court in the grounds.

The scenery from the gazebo and the tranquil surroundings were nice and the owners were pleasant. The area is so quiet at night which we enjoyed 😉 The breakfast was delicious with fresh farm eggs and local ham which we really enjoyed.
My wife is disabled and it wasn't explained in description that there are a huge flight of stairs up to the house, I thought also it was in a separate dwelling but it's just the end bedrooms of the large house. Bathroom was ok and was given personal towels but not personal soaps or shampoo etc. Had to use communal soap which I personally didn't like but had to make do! If you smoke, I wouldn't recommend as the owners frown upon you! 😆 The place does have great views and pretty birdlife, but it's very run down and to be brutally honest, not worth the price that is charged for the nights stay! Parking is also hard as the parking area is small and the owners have to get their cars out too? Also the place isn't signed well and Google maps was taking us to another place a little way aways from the actual location 😀

We really enjoyed the wonderful hospitality. John and Nora are exquisite hosts and the Guesthouse is very welcoming ... a home from home ambience. The Guesthouse is located in a tranquil and magical landscape. Overall, a very special experience.
Nil, nothing at all which we didn't like .... a very positive experience overall.

A rural setting for a couple to get away for a quiet weekend or break. The big house has lots of character and the hosts' hospitality was very warm. Highly recommended.

Noosa Hinderland Spectacular definately lives up to its name, absolutely spectacular. My stay there was amazing I will definitely do it again sometime. The hosting and hospitality from John and Nora was beyond 5 star. The effort and care they put into there guests to make sure they are comfortable and well looked after is appluable, better than a home away from home. The home made meals are top quality with care and taste. The house and surrounding property is absolutely esqusit. The property is amoungst a tropical rainforest, while the house has an amazing prestigious scerne feel, furnished with the most beautiful featured furniture to match. Nora's massagers are the best. The best massage I've truely ever had in the most tranquil peaceful guest house I've ever been too. A brilliant experience I will be doing again. Can't wait. Thanks again to John and Nora for making my stay so comfortable and memorable 😊👍🏡🎾
