About this house rental
Located in Hudson, this attractive house for $1,511 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Recently renovated Federal style house across from the Hudson Public Library. The house was completely renovated with a new gourmet chef's kitchen, sun porch, great architectural deck, 3 full bathrooms, three queen bedrooms and 2 EV Chargers. The kitchen is fully stocked with all clad pots and pans, two Miele electric ovens, 6 burner Viking cooktop, 2 dishwashers, fan, a/c, open layout with sun porch, and a washer and dryer. The dining room will comfortably seat 8. The table is a mid 19th century eagle claw round table with expansion leafs. The decorative fireplace from the mid 19th century adds character. There is a queen bedroom off the dining room with a stand up shower and full bathroom. This is ideal for those who are not keen to walk up and down the stairs. The living room has all the state of the art surround sound, 50" tv, satellite, PS3, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, smart apps, etc. The sun porch of the kitchen is where we generally spend our time relaxing. The morning sunshine is bright and allows you to wake up while you sip your coffee or tea. The espresso machine and drip coffee makers are just a few steps away in the kitchen. Bring your favorite beans and grind to your specification. The second floor has a master suite with a huge dressing room/closet and a full bathroom with a stand up shower. With great pressure and hot water you will be well taken care of. The front bedroom is quite sunny with views of the newly renovated Hudson Public Library in the former Armory space. The full bathroom just off the hallway has an old style tub with shower. Outside is another of our favorite areas. The circular deck was designed and built by David Strong Architects in Connecticut. The deck features great Ernest Hemingway wicker couch, loveseat, ottoman, round dining table, and a few club chairs. We like to BBQ here and enjoy the newly planted raised bed organic garden over a glass of wine.

A comfortable home, great mattresses, exquisite kitchen, bountiful garden and walking distance to all the amazing shops and restaurants. Greg was a great communicator and volunteered lots of helpful information about the area. We loved it.

We loved our stay in Hudson! The house is in a convenient location - an easy walk to town for shopping and dining. There are different spots to relax between the living room, sunroom and the outdoor deck. We had warm weather so it was really nice to enjoy the outside space.
We were 2 families - 4 adults, 3 children, and a dog. Since we love to cook, having a fabulous and well-stocked kitchen was perfect!
Great communication from our host prior to and during our stay. Greg quickly responded to and addressed our questions..
We hope to come back to Hudson and would love to stay here again!

I stayed at Hudson with 4 of my girlfriends. It was a long weekend away for 5 moms of young kids. The house was very clean, perfect size and the kitchen and outdoor space were awesome. The house was walking distance to downtown and we had a wonderful time. Will definitely come back again!

We booked this property last minute to get away from the city over Thanksgiving. The property is very close to the main street in Hudson with shops and restaurants. Access to bike paths is also very easy from the property. The house was extremely charming and well-appointed, and Greg was very responsive to any questions we had.

Dream Kitchen
The best property I have stayed it via VRBO. Clear and thorough communication from property owner prior, and easy check in process. Loved that each bedroom had it's own full bathroom. The kitchen was definitely the highlight--open space with two ovens and dishwashers and plenty of equipment. We had a lot of fun cooking our dinners there, especially since we got to use the fresh parsley from the garden. Also very grateful this wonderful property allows pets--my dog had a blast.

Perfect rental for our group
The property met our needs in all ways. There were 5 in our group and we were all comfortable with plenty of privacy As each of the 3 bedrooms had a private bath. The home was warm and cozy and opened up to include a spacious, sun filled cook’s kitchen. We were within walking distance to main business street, which was very convenient. A lovely place to stay for our long weekend!

This house was a delight to stay at! I stayed here with my wife and mother-in-law for a month during the Covid pandemic. We had a wonderful time cooking in this incredible kitchen! There was also a lovely deck, very comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms. It's also in a great location - although everything was closed when we were here. The property manager is great! He was super easy to communicate with, respected our safety and social distance, and took care of any little problem that arrose. He even brought us farm fresh eggs. I will note that the backyard is not fenced in for those with dogs.

Overall a charming and comfortable historic house, carefully rehabbed, but the kitchen is spectacular. It is in an addition to the original house, spacious and light filled, with a setting area off to one side. Superbly equipped. We came for a long weekend and cooked two nights, making use of Hudson's wonderful inventory of great restaurants on the last night. We will definitely be back.

Such a cute house within walking distance of Warren Street and all the shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Renovated and modern but still has that homey, upstate charm. Only spent a quick weekend here but would definitely come back for a longer stay! The host was very quick and responsive in communications.

Perfect Stay in Hudson
We were thrilled with this charming home in the town of Hudson. It is comfortable, clean and close to the main thoroughfare I’m town. We enjoyed kale and tomatoes from the garden. The kitchen is designed for serious cooks. We weren’t “serious” as we enjoyed the fine local dining. But, when we did cook, we had everything we needed and a new, bright kitchen to enjoy. We would love to stay in this beautiful house again.

Comfy, well-appointed home in quiet neighborhood
This is a great updated home with comfortable furnishings in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is amazing and has everything you could want. It's open and airy- just like the photos. There is ample parking on property which invites you to leave the cars at home and walk to town, which is very close. Wish we had been able to enjoy the back deck and gardens which were very inviting but the rain kept us indoors. You'll enjoy this home very much!

Our stay was perfect for our daughter’s wedding in Hudson. Absolutely loved the kitchen and backyard, as well as the three bedrooms and three baths. Great location, clean, comfortable. Definitely recommend and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for a stress free stay during a hectic time!

We loved staying at Greg’s place in Hudson for our wedding weekend! The garden was a huge hit - delicious tomatoes and basil! Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a weekend away!

Very comfortable house
This is a recently remodeled house with a fabulous kitchen what we spent a few evenings cooking in. The outdoor spaces were wonderful and the herb garden made cooking a joy. Quality accoutrements such as the quality of the towels, SONOS music system, gourmet kitchen, cookware and comfortable living spaces made this house well worth it. Easy walking distance to the central business district and a quiet neighborhood made for an enjoyable visit. We would stay there again.

Perfect for Small Group Gathering
Charming home that was perfect for our family gathering of three couples. The Federal House has a great kitchen, comfortable sunroom and adjoining deck for gathering. The vegetable garden is amazing. We were able to incorporate lettuce, herbs, and raspberries in a few of our meals. Greg was a great host and responded promptly to inquiries. Everything downtown was in walking distance.

Great location, great house.
The kitchen is fantastic, however the pots and pans are aged. Really liked cooking in the kitchen but the pans are due for an upgrade. Big thank you to the gentleman that helped to shovel the end of the driveway, unfortunately he arrived very late in the afternoon several hours at the snowfall had stopped. Was not a huge deal but would be nice to have it done earlier and not have to shovel ourselves out. Thank you for the stay!! Overall great house and good location.

This property is awesome it literally has everything you need. It's clean, perfect location and great for everyone to have their own space. The owner is very helpful and responsive. When I return to Hudson I would love to rent this house again.
