We loved our stay at Wendy’s home while visiting the wine country of Blenheim. It’s perfectly located in the middle of the majority of the wineries and sits on a gorgeous piece of property. The garden is spectacular and the view is picturesque - we loved having so much space to relax and enjoy after exploring all day.
Wendy prepared yummy bread and stocked the fridge/pantry with breakfast items for our stay. It was wonderful to have breakfast items all set for us the next morning after we traveled for many hours the day before. And, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare any type of meal!
The house itself is a great size, especially for two adults. The living area is cozy with windows in all directions so you can enjoy the views. It was great to have an air conditioner and heater - we experienced all sorts of weather, so we were very comfortable during the day and night. The house also has a large washer & dryer which came in handy!
Wendy was a great communicator and always quick to respond. She gave us helpful hints for local restaurants and which wineries to visit. Whatever we needed, she was available immediately and eager to make us happy.
We’d definitely stay at Wendy’s home again and highly recommend others to reserve it when visiting Blenheim!

What a lovely cottage. The surroundings were unbeatable, looking onto the vines. Great BBQ. Wendy was really quick to reply throughout and very helpful, as was Jessica. They very professionally handled a huge cleanup task from the previous guests, with everything ready on time, including fresh fruit and beautiful homemade bread.
I couldn’t recommend this place more!

A home away from home with thoughtful touches of fresh flowers, homemade bread and preserves and yummy breakfast fixings. Very comfortable beds and nice linens. Set in the countryside less than 10 minutes from downtown Blenheim.

Beautiful cottage
Eliza's cottage is one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. Located in stunning vineyard scenery, it is wonderfully quiet and private yet only a short drive to central Blenheim. From the moment you arrive, you'll be spoilt by the owner's thoughtful touches. Bread, wine, and breakfast condiments on arrival, a daily newspaper delivered to your door, a fully equipped kitchen, different coffee varieties - it's all there. Lemon and orange trees in the garden invite you to make your own fresh juice. There is a small pool in the backyard as well as a large garden for outdoor games. Our stay was a dream, and we will certainly be back.

Amazing Cottage in the Heart of Wine Country
A really beautiful and well maintained cottage with some exceptional personal touches, such as fresh baked bread, a bottle of wine and newspaper for when you arrive. An amazing garden to watch the sunset over the vineyards. We took our dog for a sunrise walk through the vineyards as well.
The cottage is easy to find with easy access to the Picton Ferry and the wineries of Blenheim. As we loaded the car and pulled away my wife said "you know we are coming back."

Charming Light filled apartment in the heart of Lyttleton.
We loved our stay here. The very tasteful apartment has everything you need with fantastic views of both the port and the hills. With great cafes and restaurants literally on our doorstep we loved experiencing the youthful vibe of this lovely part of Christchurch. Liam is a thoughtful host. It’s a very high recommendation from us.

Perfection! Eliza’s Garden Cottage is a beautiful and immaculate place to stay. Wendy Palmer, the owner, has thought of everything to make the house comfortable. Vases filled with flowers, and delicious provisions make this a perfect place to relax and enjoy Blenheim.

It’s location, decor, Wendy’s wonderful attention for detail, homeliness, daily fresh bread, jams, food, gorgeous garden, vineyards, roaring fire, and freshly cut foliage scattered about the place. Besides being beautifully located within vineyards the cottage has one of the nicest gardens ever and an amazing view. The cottage has all the amenities you could ask for and everything is in its place and immaculately clean. The bedrooms are cosy and well appointed, as well as the rest of the cottage. Having travelled around New Zealand for the last two years and having stayed at numerous places, this cottage is definitely number 1 on our list. We are looking forward to staying there again!

A wonderful property with spectacular surroundings. A home away from home, this property was exceptionally well presented, spotlessly clean with warm welcoming hosts. A selection of delicious home made goods and home grown produce gave a personal touch. Everything was well thought out even down to the selection of fire wood and hand delivered daily newspaper. Beautiful gardens and large open spaces provided the perfect holiday for our dog who loved running amongst the vines on her daily walk.

this is my second stay and it's very easy for me to recommend Eliza's Cottage ... quiet but central location, warm , comfy with attention to detail. The bedding is devine and the breakfast supplies etc are more than generous ... everything you need and more ... would love to stay again ( it's my fav Bookabach!!)
