About this house rental
Nestled in Wakefield, this attractive house for $523 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Sip your morning coffee from the screened porch overlooking the serene lake. Relax morning through evening on the lake front deck that enjoys spectacular sunset views. Swim and fish off the dock in warm lake waters. Our 3-Bedroom year round home sits on the shores of peaceful Belleau Lake. You will be amazed at how open and spacious, yet warm and inviting our home is. When you walk through our front door, you will enter the fully equipped kitchen, which is sure to meet all of your cooking, baking and serving needs. The open floor plan allows for the kitchen to flow into the dining area and living room. Great for family gatherings and entertaining! The living room and dining area boasts cathedral ceilings, with 2 large sky lights, allowing for the natural sunlight to spill in. The dining area seats 8+. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, a queen sleeper sofa and lots of comfortable seating, along with cable TV, DVD, VCR, & stereo. Stretch out on one of the two Yogibo bean bags. Off the living room are french doors that lead to the spacious screened porch and large deck overlooking the lake. Also off the living room is the master bedroom on the left, which features a queen bed and attached half bath. Another bedroom to the right, with a queen bed and twin cot. The washer/dryer and full bath are located between the two bedrooms. On the lower level is the third bedroom with twin bunk beds and a futon that sleeps 2. There is also a large family room with pool table, Foosball table, dart board, bar, pellet stove and sitting area. Walk-out to stairs leading to the deck with patio furniture and dock for swimming and fishing from. We also provide 2 kayaks, 1 stand-up paddle board and life jackets in many sizes. Vachon Beach, which is a private beach for lake residents, is located just a short walk away. For the times when you just don't feel like cooking, there is the Blue Bay Seafood and Steaks Restaurant and Bar less than a half mile away on Province Lake Road. Some other area options include The Knotty Pine Restaurant, The Carriage House Bistro & Tavern at Province Lake Golf Course, The Poor People's Pub and The Tumbledown Restaurant, which serves farm to table food. The Country Goods and Groceries store less than a half mile away on Province Lake Road, sells pizza and subs and has all of your grocery needs, along with beer and wine and some of the best ice cream in the area! The New Deal grocery store and gas station is in the same area. If it's a great breakfast you want, try Cindy's just across the street. The lake isn't just for summer vacation. There are many antique shops to explore, fresh fruit to be picked at local farms, leaf peeping in the Fall and skiing, sledding and snowmobiling in winter. These all make for fun family day trips and memories to last a lifetime. We are approximately 45 minutes to North Conway. There, you can shop the many outlet stores, and other local hand-craft, antique and gift shops, ride one of the area's scenic train rides, visit the many family attractions, such as Story Land and Santa's Village, and ski at one of the many resorts in the area. If it's golf you enjoy, Province Lake Golf Course is just a 10 minute scenic drive away. There you can enjoy a round of golf, then dine at The Restaurant at Province Lake Golf located in the clubhouse. For those who have snowmobiles, Belleau Lake is located on Corridor 19, which links you with trails throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Canada. You can travel to North Conway or Lake Winnepesaukee for the day! Come enjoy our home away from home, create wonderful memories and see why we fell in love with peaceful Belleau Lake.

We have a family of 7 plus 1 friend and the sleeping arrangements were great! We enjoyed fishing from the dock and kayaks and relaxing at the pool table or watching tv! Would recommend!

Beautiful Belleau Lake
We loved our stay on beautiful Belleau Lake. So peaceful and quiet. Loved having the kayaks available to explore all the coves and inlets around the lake.
The house had everything we needed and so convenient to the lake with a great sitting area, table and chairs right there on the water to relax with coffee in the morning and warm sun in the afternoon. Plus a great fire pit for relaxing around at night.
Lisa is a fantastic host, available for any questions and very responsive.
We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house and lake are both spectacular. Golf course was a 7 minute drive and the restaurants/grocery store was less than 2 minutes away. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Six adults and three children under 10.
Beautiful spot on the lake. Kids had a lot of fun fishing off the dock. Great spot for kayaks and paddle boards (we brought extra boards). Nice little community sandy beach with roped off swimming area a short distance from house.

Lake Get Away
The home was well kept and had a wonderful view on the lake. There were 9 of us and we all fit comfortably there.. would recommend this home for your next lake vacation.

The lake house was a beautiful place to stay my kids enjoyed it so much . the kayaks and paddle boat was a plus. We felt at home with the cozy feel of the house it was fun and all the neighbors were very friendly. Although it was very hot in the 1st floor it needed an ac or two and there was just one tv so the kids used it for video games at night . There was lots of board games that we adults could have entertained ourselves with but l missed at least a tv in the bedroom. It was sad to leave we got so used to the beautiful views and sitting in front of the lake in the mornings. Grilling and watching the kids play in the lake was precious. I recommend this experience to anyone that appreciates the blessing of family time.

Beautiful Belleau Lake
Absolutely loved staying on Belleau Lake at Lisa and John's beautiful home. What a unique property! Dock and sitting area right on the lake, screened-in porch on the main level, open floor plan kitchen-dining-living room with cathedral ceiling, even a game room on the lower level. AC was most welcome as it was pretty warm the first few days we were there. Enjoyed nights around the fire pit and days on the water in the kayaks or just sitting on the dock reading and relaxing. Also great hikes nearby, went into Portsmouth to look around and have dinner, only 1 hr away. Lisa was a great host, answered all our questions right away. Will return next year.

The Belleau lake vacation

Beautiful property!!!
This house was fantastic!! It had everything we could have possibly needed; even extra cots that worked perfectly for my 4 year old. If there is one thing I think they could improve, it was the bed in the master bedroom. It was uncomfortable unless you like soft mattresses. However, the couch served as a wonderful substitute. :) Book it - you won't regret it!! :)

Beautiful
We had the pleasure of staying at John and Lisa's beautiful home on Belleau Lake with our family for 4 nights. Their check-in directions were so easy, the house was spotless and so welcoming and comfortable! Plenty of room and sleeping options for our party of 9 people. We had so much fun and spent alot of time using the lower lever with the pool table, dart board, stereo, comfortable couches, warm pellet stove and cute little bar area. Plenty of ice on the lake for our yearly family ice fishing tournament where we caught some nice sized fish (small mouth bass, catfish, perch and pickerel). The Trophy went to the winner who caught a 23" pickerel!!! The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed a nice family turkey dinner, chicken parm dinner and enjoyed delicious appetizers watching the Superbowl on the big screen tv in the living room. The view of the lake is so beautiful!!! Their home is so cozy, warm and inviting. We had such a nice relaxing fun weekend in their home. This house will not disappoint you, worth every penny to stay there!!! Wonderful lake experience
Our family has been going to New Hampshire in the summer for a few years now and this was the best experience by far. No buckling up in the car with the kids, you just walk down the steps to the lake, enjoy a coffee in the morning and then swim, kayak, paddleboard, sit on the docks, literally all day.
Lisa and John's home is clean and charming, and the upstairs deck made it possible to continue enjoying the lake at all hours. We had an electric issue because of the northeastern storm that knocked out electricity everywhere, and between Lisa and John's helpfulness and the full day at the lake we almost forgot about the blackout.
Bottom line: highly recommend if you just want to get away and enjoy sun and water.

This property was amazing all around. The lake was perfect for all our needs. We had a great time fishing, kayaking, swimming and just relaxing. Lots of fun things in the area to explore and tons of places to get great food. Can’t have asked for anything more!

Wonderful!
We had our annual family “camping trip” at this lovely lake house, and it was even better than expected. The kids had so much fun swimming and playing. It rained the last night we were there and the living room and screened in porch were so cozy, we played some of the many games at the house, and it ended up being our favorite night there! The owners of the house have thought of everything and were easy to communicate with and accommodating. Highly recommend for a nice family getaway!

Summer Vacation
We had a great time couldn’t have asked for a better place. This was our first time staying so we weren’t too sure on what to expect. The house is stocked more than I expected. We went fishing almost everyday, saw some bald eagles, crawfish by the dock, and just enjoyed our time playing pool with family and friends. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect Location
This property was wonderful for our family gathering of adults and kids. Loved being right on the water where you can walk right out into the lake. having the kayaks and paddleboard on premise was fantastic for the kids and having the pool table, foosball table, darts etc. for the adults was great as well. The property has offerings for everyone whether it’s staying inside playing games or sitting lake side enjoying the sun we will definitely be looking to rebook next summer !

Once a year we get together and take time away from our busy hectic lives as moms and take a much needed weekend away. This house was everything we needed and more. So much space and comfort and allowed us to relax and enjoy eachothers company! Highly recommended and hope we can come back again!

Great Spot off the beaten path
Nice quiet spot to get away from it all for a long winter weekend. Was great for our group and had plenty of beds. It's easy to see that this would be a beautiful spot in the summer without the craziness of North Conway or Winnepesaukee.
