You will enjoy the sugar white beach, entertainment at the Baytowne Wharf, and the most beautiful lagoon style swimming pool complex on the Resort. Resort guests can take advantage of amenities galore - beach fun, boating, tennis, golf, walking trails, a marina, fishing, and more. Our stylish 2BR-2BA offers a king bed, a full living area with an HDTV, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full bathroom. For unexpected guests, the living area is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa. The guest suite has a full bathroom and two queen beds. A nearby elevator makes this unit easily accessible to the pool amenities level. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer, and wifi is complimentary. Walk right out the front door of the Pilot House and wander over to the Village at Baytowne Wharf which is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time. I want to be fair but honest here. We picked this unit based on reviews and because it had a Golf Cart. The reviews were totally accurate. I had hoped that based on the dates the unit would have been updated by now but it has not. The location is awesome! The view is very nice. I had some concern about road noise and there really wasn't any. It was nice having the adjoining room to spread out. The bedrooms are small with no room for hanging or storing clothes, 8 hangers in each room. The kitchen, living, and dining areas are nice. The laundry was nice. The couch has seen a lot of use. There were several truly dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinets. Literally a frying pan that had been used and put away dirty in one cabinet and it's lid with grease spatters in another cabinet (one example). The floor has not seen a mop in ages, maybe it has been swept, but as my freshly washed house shoes can attest, the floor was truly dirty! Now the unit had an overwhelming smell of bleach when we arrived so I took that to be a good sign and the sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, etc. all looked pristine. When the owner says a "starter kit of supplies will be provided, bring your own" she means it! Not easy to do when you are flying in. So plan on a shopping trip. The bed was just as described, truly lumpy and it was on the frame sideways (to rotate the lumps?) Doors don't open, others don't shut. We definitely didn't need the Golf Cart! We will stay in Pilot House again but not in this unit.

We truly enjoyed our vacation and accommodations were clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to rent the studio next door for guests as well. The location and golf cart were an added benefit that we appreciated and we would definetely enjoy a return visit to this property in the future.

Good overall, the only issue we had was that the golf cart never got over 15 mph. This annoyed people behind us and the brake lights did not work.

The wharf is very nice! Very family friendly. The pool is lovely. Our room wasn’t that great, this is our opinion only. The furniture was dingy and worn out. The tub was still full of sand, the floors were extremely dirty still turn our feet black. And overall the room it’s self could have been updated to more of a beach feel.

We rented the property as a 2 bedroom, however when we arrived at the property, the 2nd bedroom was able to be accessed through an adjoining door and was clearly being slept in by someone else as the 2 beds in that room were being used. I closed and locked the door and went through y emails regarding the rental and found an email after I had already rented the property that if we wanted to use the additional bedroom (or studio) that it would cost extra. I thought this was very disappointing and a very sneaky way to get more money considering this occurred after we had already rented the unit as a 2 bedroom.

Large 1 bedroom apartment, well appointed with fully equipped kitchen, large wide balcony, comfortable bed. Great location, close to golf courses, pool, and Baytowne Wharf. Beautiful beach is a 10 minute drive away. Parking was convenient.

We had difficulty finding the entrance of our building. We had to go to a restaurant to ask where Pilot House was. It was terribly marked regarding the pool. We had to hunt to find our way out.other residents that we spoke with couldn’t explain where it was either.
The bed was very ‘bouncy’ but comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay. My wife usually leaves rooms cleaner than when we arrive so the ‘cleaning fees’ are a bit excessive.
Great location and now that we know how to navigate the Pilot House, we would return.
….and the toilet needs bolted down as it is loose.

We had such a great time during our stay. The golf cart is a MUST! We had a blast riding around the Sandestin area, going to the beach and seeing all the properties on the golf cart. Definitely a great trip and we can’t wait for the next one!

July 2021 Stay
The location of the property is excellent. It is close to everything you want. My kids loved being able to walk down to the wharf. Now, the bed is supper soft. I don’t know if it is just an extra soft pillow top mattress. Either way not to my liking. The space was perfect for our family. The balcony was nice. The kitchen had everything you needed. Our stay was great.

Great location, beautiful grounds/pool. Unit was great, though kitchen could be stocked with more utensils etc. (to be fair the listing does advise of this). We enjoyed many breakfast’s on the balcony which is private. Great place to start the morning! Bed was a bit firm for myself, but a sponge cover is provided. We really enjoyed the use of the golf cart to get around the area.

My family has been going to Baytowne Wharf for New Year's since 2006 so I've stayed in most of the properties. This one was nicely decorated and centrally located to our activities. It was convenient to parking and the shopping/restaurants. The only complaint I have is the floors and shower were not adequately cleaned. I sent a complaint via the app, but have not heard from anyone.

The condo was very nice and just what we expected. But the parking at Pilot House is terrible. Not enough parking for all guests and the overflow parking is supposedly located at the Welcome Center which is over a mile away. This is not acceptable and made it very stressful if we left the condo in the car and could not find a spot when we returned.

I have only 2 things that could be different, minor but would help, the balcony needs a pressure wash you can see where the Florida weather has accumulated grime on the patio and the bed needs to have a more firm pillow top, but it didn't stop our enjoyment at all😁
