This beautiful home just completed in Nikao commands a stunning panoramic view of the lagoon and its surrounds. Designed, decorated and furnished by one of Rentraro's founders, Pai Chambers, Marino is guaranteed to meet every visitors expectations of what a comfortable home should be. The main living area and both bedrooms feature sliding doors out to Marino’s extensive balcony and views, allowing the tropical breezes to enter the fully screened home, and keeping the house light and airy anytime of the year. Even from the kitchen featuring a deLonghi 5 hob gas oven, all mod cons and central kitchen island, one can view the lagoon outside. Marino has two identical master bedrooms with walk thru closets leading to fully equipped ensuites. Marino’s large covered balcony runs the whole length of the house giving excellent areas for outdoor entertaining, reading sleeping and watching sunsets… perfect. Downstairs, the newly planted grounds promise a wonderful setting for your walk to the lagoon and the large paddling hole which awaits. Coming from the sea there is also a downstairs bathroom and shower to wash off the salt. There is a 24 hour store a 5 minute walk from Marino, and also Rarotonga’s top Video store virtually across the road, the Punanga Nui markets and Avarua, Rarotonga’s main (only) town is only a five minute drive away… far away, so close. Special conditions: Smoking allowed outside only There is wifi at the house, in order to activated it you need to buy a wifi card from any shop showing the telecom “e” sign, or buy a “data pack” online using a credit card. Need to get rid of some roosters, woken up about 2.00am every morning and 1 saturday night the house on the north side were partying until 4.30m.

We whale watched from the deck, sat on the loungers in the sun, swam, walked from Marino to the Saturday market and into town. This property has all we neeeded for a comfortable and self contained holiday experience.

Fantastic house to stay in. Very clean, affordable and well equipped. A very private place to stay if not a little noisy. This is to be expected as the airport is quite close, not much of a problem though. It is close to town and a 24/7 servo just down the road. A bar on the beach a little bit further on. Good snorkeling on a quite stretch of lagoon. I highly recommend it.

Perfect property for us, clean and very well equipped and set out. Wonderful outlook from the deck and close enough to shops to make life easy. Planning on returning and using this as our base once again to explore more of beautiful Rarotonga.
