Situated in Naousa, this attractive house for $488 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. The “Meltemi” house is a century-old house in the center of the village of Naoussa. The ground floor was a lime paint factory and the whole village was whitewashed each year by the owner of the house. Later in the 1970s, two avant-garde women turned the house into a bar. It was named “Meltemi” meaning in Greek “northern wind” because Naoussa is located in the north of the island and swept by the gentle breeze of the “Meltemi” in August. The years passed and the bar became an art gallery and than became a home again. We have kept the original features of the old house, preserved the arch and the stone walls in the ground floor as to create a central living room in the house. The accommodation of the terrace gives a new dimension to this old building, more contemporary, and offers a panoramic view of Naoussa. The location of the house in the village is ideal, in a typical neighborhood, and offers visitors to live like the inhabitants of Naoussa. The house consists of a living room, a dining room and a bathroom on the ground floor. Three bedrooms and a bath room on the first floor (two bedrooms with a double bed each and a bedroom with two single beds). A small wooden staircase leads to the terrace with its magnificent view of Naoussa Bay! You will appreciate the traditional and yet contemporary character of the house. It is traditional with its magnificent stone arch in the ground floor as it was built years ago in Paros, its floor of large gray and green slabs cut by hand, Its old fireplace that used to be a kitchen, Its bathrooms entirely covered with traditional natural plaster, the “tsimentokonia”, a kind of polished concrete used in the islands made from sea sand and white cement. And it is yet contemporary with its new terrace offering a magnificent view over the whole village of Naoussa and its bay. It is also well and fully equipped with facilities like a washing machine, a dishwasher, an internet Wi-Fi connexion , an espresso machine, etc. At the “Meltemi” house you will enjoy the Greek living style because of its traditional “Cycladic” architecture and you will like the comfortable and functional amenities with all the necessary equipments for everyday life. We wish you a pleasant stay ! Facilities: Washing machine, Oven, electric induction hob, Microwave oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, Coffee machine (Nespresso type), Air conditioning on the 1st floor, internet connection with wifi. One week minimum stay Cleaning woman once a week (sheets and towels change) --- The house is located in the center of the village of Naoussa with its many taverns, mini markets, pharmacies, cafes, bars, clubs etc. The majority of the most famous beaches are near the village, you can also go by boat every 30 minutes from the port of Naoussa. The village of Naoussa is near from the most cosmopolitan areas of Paros Island and the most popular villages. You also have many buses and taxis. Paros Airport: 21 km Port of Paros (Parikia): 12 km Bus Stop: Near the central square of Naoussa 0,2 km Shopping – Eating – dancer: Naoussa (here you are!) Fantastic central location if thats what you are looking for. Everything is on your doorstep. Communication with Alexandros was first rate. A little noise from the restaurants in the evening, but you can't expect to be so well located and not expect it. Shutting the bedroom doors just about kept it out. Roof terrace is great but best used on low wind days.

The Meltemi House far exceeded our expectations! A group of 6 of us stayed for a week and were thrilled by the location, the views from the rooftop, the friendliness of Alexandros, and the beautiful house itself. The house has all you could need for your stay and the location is next to all that Naoussa has to offer! We hope to one day come back!

Cette petite maison en plein centre du village offre pleins d’avantages. Ca proximité avec toute la vie du village, son authenticité... un vrai changement par rapport à notre quotidien. Alexandre nous a très bien accueilli. C’est bien qu’il soit sur place s’il y a le moindre problème. Je déconseillerai toutefois pour des familles avec petits enfants. Notre configuration avec des ados était parfaite pour le lieu.

Alexandros is one of the best hostest I’ve met. His Meltemi house is in the greatest area in Nausa, a very quiet street close to the center. The house felt homey and Alexandros made sure we had everything we need. All amenities were provided (we even had a nespresso machine). Very clean, very cosy. He also provided a pdf with a presentation of the island as well as a list of recommendations and FAQ for the house. I recommend him strongly and we will be back for sure!

Fin dal momento della prenotazione Alexandros è stato molto disponibile fornendoci tutte le informazioni utili per visitare al meglio l’isola, ha risposto alle nostre domande e soddisfatto alcune nostre esigenze (procurarci scooter, transfer dal porto...). Al momento dell’arrivo la casa ha superato tutte le nostre aspettative: situata al centro della bellissima Naoussa, spaziosa ed accogliente, tradizionale ma allo stesso moderna è dotata di tutto il necessario (dalla cucina al bagno), ma il punto forte è senza dubbio la terrazza spaziosa (più di quanto sembra in foto), ventilata e con vista mozzafiato sul mare. In due parole SUPER CONSIGLIATA

Une superbe location !!!!!

Une location idéalement placée au cœur du village à 200 m à pied du port , au calme dans une petite ruelle . C est une ancienne bâtisse entièrement rénovée avec des matériaux de qualité et beaucoup de gout tout en respectant l architecture des vieilles maisons de Naoussa . La description de l annonce correspond tout à fait à la réalité avec comme bonne surprise une magnifique terrasse aménagée pour les repas vue mer . Quel bonheur de prendre son petit déjeuner le matin , d apprécier le coucher de soleil sur la mer en début de soirée et d y dîner tard le soir +++++. Le propriétaire Franco Grec , Alexandre ressemble à sa maison : Beaucoup d empathie , de bienveillance et de disponibilité pour rendre le séjour à Naoussa le plus agréable possible .Il vous réserve même le taxi pour vous accueillir au bateau et vous accompagne pour la location des scooters ; Le top +++ Un locataire exigeant comblé par cette location cet été A recommander sans hésitation Merci Alexandre pour ses vacances a paros

Une maison aussi géniale que son hôte!

Dès la réservation nous avons été contactés par Alexandre qui a su répondre à toutes nos questions avec toute la réactivité attendue. Les documents fournis quelques jours avant notre arrivée étaient très complets et donnaient déjà un avant goût des vacances. Le jour de notre arrivée, Alexandre est venu à notre encontre à la sortie du bus. Sa bienveillance et sa sympathie nous ont tout de suite enchantés. Une fois arrivés à la maison, nous étions ravis de notre choix: Très bien placée dans le magnifique village de Naoussa. Proche des animations mais au calme malgré tout. Et Proche de la mer à pieds! A vrai dire nous n’avions pas de voiture et nous n’en avons pas eu besoin de tout le séjour. La maison qui vient tout juste d’etre mise en location est décorée avec soin et avec tout le confort nécessaire (merci la literie, le lave vaisselle et le lave linge!). Quant à sa terrasse... C’est un pur bonheur pour admirer la mer et le coucher du soleil. Allez y sans hésitez. Alexandre, merci pour ta disponibilité et tes conseils. Nos vacances furent un régal!

Abbiamo alloggiato 8 giorni in questa casa meravigliosa. La casa rende di più dal vivo che in foto. È localizzata nella parte centrale di Naoussa in una viettina pedonale con ristorantini ricercati. Nonostante i ristorantini della via la casa rimane comunque tranquilla. La casa si sviluppa su due piani con soggiorno, cucina e bagno al piano terra mentre al primo piano ci sono tre camere e un bagno. Al piano superiore alle camere si accede ad un meraviglioso terrazzo attrezzato con tavoli e divani da cui si gode una spettacolare vista su Naoussa. L’arredamento è curato nei minimi particolari non manca nulla ed è super pulita. Il proprietario Alexandre è stato gentilissimo e premuroso. Consigliatissimo!
