This Corolla vacation rental affords ample opportunity for as much activity or relaxation as you desire. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the popular Ocean Sands community of Corolla, Fitz by the Sea is full of family-friendly amenities. One of many fun activities could be taking a short drive up to the 4x4 beach to see the wild horses or going just up the road to the Timbuck II shopping center with get shops and food! After a long day at the beach, the family will enjoy taking short walk to the shops just across the street and even stop at the ice cream shop for your favorite flavor! Location of this house is conveniently only 250 yards to the beach access. Enjoy quiet time on the mid-level covered deck and a great ocean view from the deck off the kitchen. Just a short bike ride or walk to the Harris Teeter grocery store, the famous Duck Donuts, Off the Wall Taphouse, close to restaurants, shopping, Currituck Club golf course and many other attractions, this home is sure to please everyone in the family. We DO NOT provide towels, however for a fee of $60 we can provide towels (1 towel & 1 wash cloth per person staying). Don't forget to pack your beach towels. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 - King Bed, 1 Queen, 1 Full Bed, 1 bunkbed room with 3 twins & 1 full. When available you may be able to do an early check-in for a fee of $100. Just need to send a message to owner to see if early check in is available for the day of your arrival. Per Ocean sands community guidelines, NO TRAILERS, CAMPERS, GOLF CARTS are allowed.

Our son previously stayed at Jessica's beautiful home with friends. This was our first trip to the Outerbanks as a family. Everything was perfect, Jessica knew we would be arriving late and had outside lighting on which was perfect to light our way. She outdid our expectations knowing we were there for the holidays - small adorable tree was up, lights and a mice amount of decorations made us feel right at home. We were able to speak before our trip and i received photos of cooking items, spices available and she even had goodies for us in the frudge and free,er knowing things were going to be closed upon our arrival. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, walks on the beach, exploring local restaurants- the 12 bars of Christmas- we had an absolutely amazing time with our kids. Definitely planning our return, sooner than later.

We had a death in the family and missed our June vacation. Decided to come to Corolla for the first time for a family vacation before my daughter went off to college! We loved it and will be back!

This house easily fit our family of 8, and was also fine when 3 more family members and their dog joined us for a few days. The house was clean, has a great layout, and is equipped with baby gates and cabinet latches, etc. Jess was very accommodating and flexible, working with us to get details figured out. The walk to the beach is through the neighborhood and took us about 10 minutes, but we had little kids with us. It wasn't too long. I would recommend not leaving your beach wagon by the steps over the dune, however, as someone stole ours! We are already thinking about staying here again next year.

We absolutely loved all the memories we made on our vacation here. This property had all the items we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, coffee pot, etc. The layout was great for allowing us to have family time but space enough for quiet time as well. The location to Harris Teeter was amazing!

Amazing time at house beautiful setting. Weather was rainy and windy but definitely enjoyed the space in out. Had myself and wife her sister and husband with there 5 girls. The only issue with house was fan/light in master bedroom and leak from bathroom between kids room and other large room. Tub drain leaks into car port area under house. Contacted owner and very quick response. Over all very great house and awesome time. Will definitely use house again in future.

We visited as a family of four plus a set of grandparents. The house was perfect for us. The location was great and easy walking to ice cream, super wings and Harris teeter. Sadly, the duck donuts was closed for the season. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. If you’re going with kids I’d recommend a wagon or something to help with the quick walk to the sand. I would highly recommend this house. The house is also at the end of a court so perfect for kids and bike riding.

The house itself was good. The necessity of things was not. If you plan on cooking there be prepared for limited pans and skillets. Plenty of plates, marginal silverware, old forks, a few butter knives, one cereal spoon and a couple of tablespoons. No large bowls to make a salad. You also might bring your own dish soap and kitchen towels too.
If you like a dark room, bring a sleep mask and the road can be heard almost all night if you sleep in the master bedroom.
The walk to the beach is great and the beach was wonderful. So many shells to collect.
Definitely would recommend taking the Wild Horse Adventure Tour which is located across from the neighborhood.

We had a nice experience staying here for a short getaway. Only downside is you have to provide your own towels. We flew and did not have room to pack these. Otherwise, the house met all of our needs.

Average property, Kitchen and bathrooms needs some care.
We had to purchase all paper products, dish detergent, soaps, trash bags, etc.
Was never able to connect to tv's downstairs.

Pictures were very accurate. Owner was very responsive to questions/comments. Walking distance to beach. Bathrooms and kitchen could use some updating but everything we used was fully functional.

We enjoy coming to the Outerbanks frequently. This property was convenient to stores and restaurants. The “walk” to the beach is not long…but with all the “stuff” most families take to the beach it was cumbersome. We would drive the stuff down and one of us would bring the vechile back.
It would be nice to have a list of kitchen items (kreg, coffeemaker, blender..) There needs to be more pots and pans. There was 1 pot to boil water. I did reach out to ask about these but didn’t get a response:

This property was exactly as advertised. It was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We were able to walk to the beach and also to the grocery store, souvenir shop, and other businesses in a nearby plaza. We had a family of 8 and it was a perfect fit for us. There were many restaurants and attractions within a short driving distance. There is a concrete walkway along the nearby highway for walking and cycling safely.

Had a great vacation staying here. Very clean and it has everything you need. Very close to everything you need shopping-wise and not at all a bad walk to the beach. No complaints from us!

Relaxed and recharged
We had a great time. The house was very nice and in a great location. It is within walking distance to the beach and ice cream! We stayed with 2 small dogs and they had great walks around the neighborhood.

The house is wonderful! A very short walk to the beach! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and everything was super clean! The owner was beyond helpful with all my questions. The views are amazing!

This property is not super fancy but very nice, especially for the price point. It is an easy walk to the beach and easy access to activities in and around the north end of the outer banks (Corolla, Duck and Kitty Hawk).
