An exceptional place to stay

Everything about The Residence and The Beach House is exceptional. All the food was absolutely fantastic, from breakfast through to dinner. All the staff were delightful and helpful and couldn't have made us more welcome. We had a brilliant few days relaxing here.

Wonderful rooms, staff, food and beach

Beach, food - the food was beautiful! Breakfast menu, wow. Room SO comfortable, the bed was amazing. Gorgeous big terrace. Pool is private and lovely retreat from the loud music and crowds at the club. Hotel staff wonderful.

We only got a frontline bed as guests, once in a week long stay and even that was tough, as they sell them. Your breakfast becomes a bit of a construction site when they expand the restaurant.

Really enjoyed the location, with very friendly and helpful staff.

The breakfast was excellent, and the general service and interest from all staff was very good. Natalie and Emma were very helpful, but all the serving staff were friendly and helpful, and knew what they were doing. The food overall was excellent, with the poached eggs on smashed avocado being almost my daily choice! The NYE event was very well done. We enjoyed the location on the beach, and for the beach walks after breakfast. The room and bathroom were nicely decorated and clean, with a great shower!

I'd prefer a one piece double bed mattress as the two zipped together do 'fall' into the middle. I was surprised that the tea making facilities were communal, and therefore I didn't use them, as it was a pain to go downstairs (especially if we weren't showered and dressed). There was no milk at the tea station in any case. I couldn't see why it wasn't available in the room. I do think the cost per night is very much at top end central London, given that you need taxis or a hire car to go anywhere, shops restaurants etc.

Understated Luxury with a family house feel

Felt like home Right on the beach Stunning food and cocktails in restaurant Fantastic dedicated polite interested funny hard working staff Calm peaceful pool/area around it Privacy So clean

On beach belonging to property too many people coming over selling sunglasses etc and at times too crowded and people on their phones talking loudly. Wi Fi in bar/restaurant was iffy but ok on my room - do guests get taken off it once they check out ? Wish the chairs in restaurant were less cumbersome less heavy to move and fitted in under the tables ?! Flow through was often blocked by chairs. Would make a massive difference !

location, restaurant in the evening

being dropped off by Uber at another road along the beach and having to drag cases along the beach to find the hotel - reception difficult to find . instructions should be sent to clients with exact location for Uber as this is apparently a common problem

Ticks all the boxes.

It’s easier to say what we didn’t like as that would be absolutely nothing! Checked out today and we are considering booking for next year already.

We had lunch here on Friday and the service of our mains was very slow with three tables who ordered after us getting their meals before us.

location far from Marble. I will not come to it again

location and small hotel just 5 rooms

when I checked in no 1. The reciptionenst had scan both passports from her mobile rather than taken the information which never happened during my stay in Spain . no 2. she charged e 200 as deposit. which never happened before in other hotels, rather than taken my credit card no which I used already for reservations, and when I checked out she said I shall get my money back to my credit card within 2 to 3 days

Had a great time. I highly recommend, but be aware of the music issue.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was large, the a/c worked well and our terrace looked out over the ocean.

Lucky to have found this clean, charming place!

Breakfast was excellent, with a large variety of make to order options. The staff was very friendly, showing us to the room, and in every interaction. Sun beds on the beach were included. The restaurant was excellent too, with some live entertainment on certain evenings.

Needed more counter space in the bathroom.

far from the city, it’s not a hotel, it’s a house can be rated as 3 stars, the Toilet door difficult to open, the Restaurant is very expensive

I would love that the kitchen would be available on the stated hours, or Else the rooms should all be equipped with a coffee machine and a mini fridge.

Nice treat!

In a very quiet location, spotlessly clean. Restaurant is beautifully appointed and the food we had at breakfast was excellent. We sat i. the terrace in the sunshine listening g to the sea. Blissful.

The room was very comfortable, but not as wow as I thought it would be. We got back from our day out after 6pm and the restaurant was closed which we were really disappointed about!

Exceptional

Absolutely stunning! We had the best time at the Residence. Such a lovely, exquisite little hotel. We felt really privileged, staying on a preserved beach of Marbella in a gorgeous place. The room was beautiful. The staff was so so nice. When we took our breakfast on the beach a 31st of December under the sun facing the Mediterranean we just thought we la ded on paradise!
