About this condo rental
Our two bedroom/2 bath condo, with a 1 king, 1 queen and a sofa sleeper comfortably sleeps 6. The unit is very large, and features a full kitchen, two baths and a fireplace in the living room (plus a washer dryer). In addition, it has two decks, one in the front, the other is in the back of the unit for what I call the “morning coffee” deck. This unit is spacious and comfortable. In addition, our central gardens contain a great pool and common area. We are kid friendly. We are close to all of Saugatuck/Douglas activities and easy walking distance to two restaurants. The grocery is two minutes away. Saugatuck Douglas has some of the best beaches in the world. Oval Beach – which is on National Geographic’s best beach list as well as MTV, is a short drive away.

We enjoy staying at The Northern Lights. Kids love the pool. Location is great. Condo is clean and modern.

Pool was best feature. Condo was nicely decorated, however beds and furniture were extremely uncomfortable!

Pool and the market on the property were great but without those two things we would not have liked it. Some minor repairs are needed in the apartment, doorknobs falling off, lightbulbs burnt out and mattress may actually be the worse mattresses we have ever slept on. None of us slept for days, they are concave and dive to the middle, edges are hard, they are probably decades old, and considering how cheap mattresses are we got the feeling the owner cares more about his $$ then making us comfortable. The pool and going to the market were great but again, without them it would have sucked

The condo needs a deep clean. Dark floor was absolutely filthy. Lots of large unnecessary furniture. No cable service at all. Coffee pot needs a good cleaning. Pool had way too much chlorine in it. AC could not be adjusted. We love coming to Northern Lights but this was not our favorite condo by far.

Great place to stay!
The place was clean and it was nice to bring our dog. The pool was great and the area is nice! Only downside was internet barely worked.

Great location, pool and patio
Overal really enjoyed our stay! The place was updated, had a really nice pool and great patio to relax in morning and at night. The location was close to Saugatuck and Douglas so lots to do.

We had a wonderful experience. The complex is beautiful and peaceful. The unit was perfectly updated and maintained. Loved the pool, and Isabel’s. Saugatuck is right down the street.

Beautiful place
We had a wonderful experience. The complex is beautiful and peaceful. The unit was perfectly updated and maintained. Loved the pool, and Isabel’s. Saugatuck is right down the street.

Condo was modern, clean and comfortable. Nice patio off back where we had coffee and could enjoy the peaceful views of nature. Parking was easy and close!

Very well run, quick follow up by management when we notified them of ice not working in freezer. Very clean and welcoming of pets. The only challenge was internet /wifi was very slow and they let us know when we arrived that others had experienced issues. We will definitely return again next year!

The addition of Isabel's next door make it's super convenient to basically never have to leave a 3 block radius, which if you're in town to hang at the Dunes you know is a real possibility.
The pool at the complex is lovely, and it is quite. The two different condos we've stayed in from this same rental management company have been very clean with great AC (needed on a hot summer day). This unit in particular had a lovely wrap-around porch that looked out over some nice natural grasslands, so it also felt very secluded.
Overall, exactly what we needed and I'm certain we'll be back.

Our family enjoyed our stay, and we were pleased by home roomy the condo was. Location was great - quick to Oval beach, as well as downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. We walked to the market two mornings. Pool was nicely kept. Our only suggestions would be that we wished there were a few more plates and bowls and more hooks in the bathrooms, as well as to replace the shower curtains. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay, and we were pleased by home roomy the condo was. Location was great - quick to Oval beach, as well as downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. We walked to the market two mornings. Pool was nicely kept. Our only suggestions would be that we wished there were a few more plates and bowls and more hooks in the bathrooms, as well as to replace the shower curtains. We would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Property Manager placed us in a wonderful unit!! Very much appreciated! Very homey place with great layout! Very clean and comfy! Would definitely stay there again. Other than having a difficult time contacting the property manager to clarify questions which finally got answered, everything was fantastic.

It’s a great condo, newly renovated, super clean and close to all the action of the area. We had a great weekend and because it was a little cool the gas fireplace was perfect!
A few suggestions, as it appeared to be newly renovated there were a few things that probably should get added.
1. Need hooks in the bathrooms for wet towels
2. Kitchen utensils and such are sparse, i.e we had to buy a wine opener.
3. I like to open window shades, the front large window blinds could be tilted open but I couldn’t lift the blinds due to it pulling away at the top.
4. There are what appear to be gas fire pits around the property, is that something a guest can utilize? If so, please leave directions for future guests.
