This house is perfect for a small family retreat to the beach, featuring plenty of books, games, and DVDs to pass the time, plus pleasant views of trees out the windows. Outside is a partial ocean view from the deck, a gas grill, and a firepit for making s'mores on a clear night. Dogs welcome for a small fee. What's nearby: This house is a short walk from the nearest beach access on 35th Court, where you might enjoy activities like beachcombing, shelling, whale watching, fishing, and more. Nearby, you'll also find the Chinook Winds Casino Resort, an outlet mall to the south, and a large selection of restaurants, cafés, and boutiques. Devils Lake is also a short drive away, where you might spend a day kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. Things to know: Full kitchen (without dishwasher) Free WiFi No on-street parking allowed in Lincoln City (two parking spaces provided in the driveway) If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Everything was great aside from a pretty bad booking experience through vrbo. Somehow the reservation was made twice for exact same dates. Therefore two reservations and charged a fee twice, which I'm still trying to get refunded. How was this even possible to have 2 reservations for the exact same dates?? Wish i would have found this gem another way and booked direct.
Other than that, it was a comfortable place to stay and get together with family. Thankful for space heaters in each room as we had different temperature comfort levels. I'm not sure if the fire place was working but we followed the directions noted on the wall and it didn't seem to do anything.
Good selection of games, books, and very nice roku tvs in each room. Kitchen had everything. Loved the large kitchen table. Wish i would have brought supplies to make lattes as there was an espresso machine. If you like to take baths the tub is not well suited for a relaxing bubble bath. Water temp was plenty hot.
Nice views, quiet neighborhood, and easy 5-10 min walk from beach. Appreciated that it was pet friendly also.

We showed up to a driveway full of garbage including toilet paper. There was a sign in the entry way that said to please remove your shoes. Definitely WOULD have if the inside of the house would have been vacuumed. It was not. Piece of toilet paper and various other items on the carpets in all rooms there was carpeting. Went to turn on the fireplace for heat and NOPE, didn't work. There appeared to be a heater/ AC mix on the wall/ceiling but no remote control to use it. Thankfully the property Manager dropped off 2 space heaters. NOT what we envisioned when I rented this house with a gas fireplace. There was a dirty sweatshirt hanging in the bedroom behind the door when we got there. Could only find one washcloth in the place. Turns out the housecleaners put the other towels in the dryer, no note to let us know it was our job to get them out ourselves. The bed to the left of the bathroom is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. My husband and I both slept in the middle indentation.... Cute house but very unhappy about everything wrong with it. Would like a refund of some of the money we paid as this was not worth it.

The house was exactly as described in the listing and we had a very nice stay. We appreciated all the little extras the host made to make our stay more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised with how close the beach access is to the property.

All ok except dryer was still drying from when the cleaner left. It took about 4 to 5 times to dry the towels that were already in there so we just took our dirty laundry home and beds were real squeaky and there was a leaky hole in top of wall.

The house is so cute! It's even bigger than the pictures. They had tons of puzzles and games and things to do. Very cozy with the fireplace. We had a great time. Plenty of cooking and eating utensils. We had a great time

It was nice getaway home to relax and an easy walk down to the beach. Quiet and clean. Only bad feedback would be shower mat was slippery and wife almost fell as it slid. But would and probly come back again.

What a great little home. Big family room for hanging out. Clean and cozy with windows all around. Very welcoming for our pooch as well. After a horrible beginning to our original plans this home saved the day and made our experience very enjoyable. We will be back. Thank you

The location was great, the porch was awesome especially on the sunny day and the house in general was good. However, the house had a strong smell of pet urine when we arrived, we had to buy some febreeze to help with the smell, a couple of the burners on the stove didn't work, there was no dishwasher which is my fault for not checking & the beds were not comfortable.

We loved the location! It was easy to walk to the beach and inside was cute. The kitchen and bathroom are out of date but the front room had nice carpet and furniture.
The beds in both rooms seem to be broken down the middle and squick every time you move. The squick is loud enough to wake up your partner.
They had caution tape through the outside patio. We were not notified the patio would be blocked and that was super disappointing. It would've been fine just to notify us.
The place was clean when we arrived and that's nice. They provided sand toys for our kids and beach towels. It was easy to relax in the front room.

Lots of care taken to provide a comfortable stay. Games and puzzles. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans/dishes and even some spices and coffee. Enjoyed lounging on the deck.

Our family had a wonderful time. Thank you for opening your home to us. We were able to relax and have fun as a family. There were only a few things we wanted to bring to your attention. The bathtub is very slippery. Our mother fell. She is ok. But we didn't find the bathmat until afterwards and it was still not efficient.

The size of the house is nice however the beds were no so good. The outside of the building is kind of trashy and the keys for the house was a pain. I hope these comments are helpful to others

I’m giving this property a poor-good review for many reasons. First of all the photos on the booking site are not accurate. When we arrived I noticed garbage around the left side of the house which is noticeable once you arrive. An old table, plastic bin full of spider webs multiple larger sticks and kindling for the fire pit. Overall not picked up or tidy. Didn’t need to be perfect but just tidied up would have been appreciated. When you enter the house it’s a closed off entry way that smelled of old musty mothballs, cat urine type smell. That’s the best way for me to describe it. There were boogie boards and some things for dogs, I thought that was nice and sand toys for kiddos. We came into the house and it smelled the same. Looking around the flooring was overall good, but the carpet in the living room had a couple large stains and the couches were gross. Stains on both couches and the throw pillows, we used the beach towels provided to cover them. The comforters on the beds were older and looked dirty to me, they didn’t smell clean to me soI washed them before we went to bed. I’m not a clean freak by any means but I feel when staying at a vacation home that the standards should be higher. The sheets were fine. The stove is newer but very small, a normal sized baking sheet doesn’t fit in the oven! Dishes and cookware provided were great, griddle for pancakes multiple sized pans, etc….and lastly the deck….it’s actually nicely updated, trex material and nicer gas grill, the description on the site says there a partial view of the ocean….if you’re standing on the roof you can see the ocean, you can hear it but not see it!
We had a great time in Lincoln city and depot bay but I would not recommend staying here.
I recommend updating photos and cleaning up the outside, also recovering the couches.
Multiple candles and febreeze masked the smell somewhat but something needs to be done to rid the smell.

Overall the house served it purpose. It was nice that the walk to the beach wasn't super long. A friend and I came down with our 3 kids (ages 1, 3, &4). The house had plenty of space and having the enclosed porch was nice to give them a place to run outside while we made dinner and what not. The houses major downfall is that it is very obvious they allow pets. The carpets were stained and felt sticky to the feet. It also smelled like wet dog on arrival and we had to air the place out a bit. There were also other random cleanliness factors that were noted throughout or stay like lots of dog hair even on the hardwood, random items like cotton balls and lip gloss found on the floor, mold in the bathroom, etc. This is not a place I would jump to stay at again but especially if you are looking for a place to bring multiple pets to the beach it could be a good option.

I stayed here with my husband and Mother-in-law for an early Christmas, and had a wonderful time. The whole home was very clean and comfortable. The living room is very spacious and great for relaxing. On top of this, the location of the home was great. I quick walk to the beach, fast last minute store trips, close to many restaurants, and only a minute or two drive to the casino.

The living room is very spacious and great for relaxing. On top of this, the location of the home was great. We loved the doggy bed with all the gifts and all the extra soap , hand sanitizer, hair soaps ,shave cream ect ..loved that ..all those extra little extras was nice ... we had family join us for Christmas Dinner and it was really peaceful.. we watch Pickers over the football game the guys loved it ... nice and secluded for our get away that's what we needed ... the access was a bit confusing but it worked ..as we were headed over from Salem our Truck Batteries went down before we even left the driveway the store was open for another half hour and we just made that deadline ..we came in at Dark and was confused of the address ... at the end we loved our stay ... thank you for all those little extras .. they were worth it ... thank you .. our puppies loved it as well.. our Doodles say Muah xoxox

I have kids under the age of 5. The house was set up so child friendly. The provide shovels and buckets for the beach. It rained the whole time so the board games came in handy very enjoyable experience
