Loved my stay here. very clean, access to the kitchen, beautiful garden, pool and close to the beach. stayed one night. Good communication. Joao is an excellent host. totally recommend and will come back. thank You.

House is really nice, good kitchen, nice garden. Good location right by the beach. I could park easily and for free. Good communication by thw owner when he was not there for checkin. Nice breakfast.

Toilets dont have privacy really. Owner tried tijd fit it with some diy constructions but just a normal door would have been better. Also more privacy in the dorm beds with more than a half curtain would be nice.

This was my first experience in a hostel, and I’m so happy that I stayed at Mr. Ziggy’s. Very close proximity to the beach and restaurants. The best part about the accommodations was the staff. I was greeted by Joaquin, who made me feel immediately welcome. He created a friendly community and is extremely generous with invitations to dinner and socialization, amongst other frequent gestures of kindness. Analise (unsure of spelling) is a warm and genuine person who made me feel so comfortable. This is particularly appreciated as I am a solo traveler, and it is my first visit to Portugal. I will not forget these kind souls!

Great accommodation, friendly, relaxed atmosphere and an excellent location. When I asked about extending my stay the staff were really helpful. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return for another extended stay.

super cool place, the pool is super nice, the backyard is huge with grill etc, the dorm and the bathrooms were always super clean and tidy. He people were also super great, you for sure won’t feel alone. 100% recommend

Great BBQ facility (although needs a light). Wonderful house, with great atmosphere. Clean. Joaquin was great.

Half showers were cold. Mosquito deterrent didn't work. Tea towels and hand towels in the kitchen should be provided. More fridge space for guests.

-really nice people around and working there -a big thank to the guy who always cooked for everyone -good location -you can go surf, skate, joga, bbq or just relax at the clean pool -they even have a dish washer :D -the breakfast(extra) looked really good even i did not used it

-would be nice to have the possibility to charge the phone next to the bed

Really nicely designed, there was everything you need. Fridge, living room space, kitchen.

The whole atmosphere was super welcoming and made us felt like home. Great people around and very friendly staff. You wont feel lonely at Mr Ziggy's. A huge recommendation to this beautiful place!

The place, atmosphere, it really reflects everything you see on the pictures and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. They have arranged us a surf lesson and made amazing breakfast everyday with fresh bread.

First night it was cold, because they forgot to give us a heater , but after we told them they quickly gave us one and everything was great

Great waves no more 3 minutes walk from the house. Facilities to wash and clean wetsuits after. Very relaxed vibe . Good advice on places to surf in different conditions. I will definitely be going back.

The location, property and the dorm are the best I have seen in Costa de Caparica! Joao and his staff have taken good care of me and helped me arrange good surf sessions ;)

Big house, lot of room. Great location 200m away from the beach and from town center. The owner takes a lot of care of guests as well as you have your space and privacy if you want it. Super comfy bed, good wifi, great breakfast and full kitchen. It doesn’t feel like a hostel, but a lot more like being home living with some 7-8 more people.
