Nestled in Summerland, this charming house for $1,917 per night is a great option for your next break. 6 BEDROOMS | 5 BATHROOMS | 10 GUESTS Don’t miss out on this RARE opportunity to be right on the sand in a small row of private homes. You’ll be located in Santa Barbara County’s “cutest” town, the small seaside community of Summerland. Everything you need is within walking distance: the beach (just walk out the back door!), restaurants, coffee shop, wine tasting, general store, art galleries, and antique shopping. A bike path will take you into neighboring Montecito and you’ll be just a short drive from Santa Barbara to the north and Carpinteria to the south. This unique property is serving up a nearly private beach that curls up to this tri-level oceanfront home. With floor to ceiling windows, nearly every room has a full ocean view. Enter on the second floor with the large open Living Room and Kitchen leading out to an expansive beach deck and a Guest Room and Bathroom. Use the spiral staircase to the upper level loft and find a generous loft-style Primary Suite with the addition of a cozy Twin Bedroom, second Bathroom, and a desk area. The lower level features a private Suite with a separate entrance and 2 additional Bedrooms, a Hall Bathroom, and a second Kitchen and second Laundry Room. Use your private beach walkway to spend the day swimming in the water, eat dinner watching the sunset over the ocean, and fall asleep to the soothing sound of crashing waves. I made the reservations for our family get together. There were 9 of us. The first Comment to me for the selection was "You SCORED! Our family loved the place. We planned to do off property activities but after the first day everyone preferred to just stay at the house. The Beach was easy to access and clean. There was a Ping-Pong table and other games but mostly we just hung out and enjoyed the view and the weather. We saw at least 4 pods of dolphins go by. At the end of our stay no one wanted to leave, and all wanted to come back again.

What a stunning location for this beautiful home. The views are just incredible and the home has such a beautiful big living space with windows from floor to ceiling. Will definitely recommend it and hopefully come back one day. Thank you!

One information was missed! The ocean has the polution in this area and if you would swim you have to go by car to different location.

We had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful beach house!! Paradise Retreat management were great to work with, very thorough and attentive. The house was outstanding, and easily accommodated our 3 generations family group. We took full advantage of all the toys on sight. Ping pong table matches were ongoing! Boogie boards, sand toys, and beach umbrellas were used daily. The veiws of the ocean from various sitting areas inside and out were phenomenal!!!!!! My husband and I watched pods of dolphins pass on 3 occasions during our 3 day stay. Early to mid morning sighting. So grateful for this fantastic vacation!

The home is in a fantastic location beach front, just walk down the steps to enjoy the beach. The house is also fully equipped to enjoy family quality time. We especially enjoyed the ping pong table, cornhole, wood fire pit, bbq, and awesome decks and beautiful views. The only caveat I would add is that the house has a lot of stairs and many different levels which could make it difficult for little ones and those that are much older.
Also, the property manager was very nice and made the check-in process super easy!

Positives…Lovely location with lots of room for families. We were celebrating my mom’s 90th birthday and all were able to enjoy. Beach access was awesome, and the amenities on property ensured we had everything to play in sand and sea. Additionally, there were outdoor seating areas to enjoy the view, as well as ping-pong and corn hole. The little community park was also very convenient for our little one.
The kitchen is amazing and has everything you could want to prepare food and cook/bake/grill, except for a garbage disposal.
Negatives…downstairs bedroom #3 reeked of mildew when we first arrived. Management brought odor reducing/absorbing desiccant which made it manageable by day 2. Additionally, the same bedroom is not officially a part of the house! Access is gained through a single door in the backyard, which means one must exit the house and walk down the outdoor path. This was a total bummer on our 2 drizzly days. This fact is not disclosed in the online house description.
Would we stay at this home again? Absolutely yes, if we only need the use of 5 of the 6 bedrooms.

We had a very nice stay at the property. It is well equipped and comfortable if a little dated. Our only negative comment is on the owner calling to complain about us having 5 cars in the driveway for a brief period instead of the permitted 4. We had family stop by to caravan with them to another location. We had 5 cars in the driveway for maybe 10 minutes to load some items into the cars and got a phone call from the management company saying the owner had called them about the issue. I guess the owner doesn't have a lot to do other than watch the camera feed.

Nine middle age women took over this fabulous property. The house was perfect for our needs and well stocked. The gardens were even better. Incredible landscaping and views. Awesome walkway to the beach. Could not have worked out better for us with the bedrooms and bathrooms. Enough seating for 9 in the main living room. Tons of outdoor seating. Short walk to the most quaint town with fabulous boutiques. Easy access to the 101. Absolute Perfection!!

There were five of us and the house was almost perfect. The view is impressive, and the house is spotless, with nearly all new furniture. The group that manages the property are amazing and very attentive. Each room and bathroom are ready for your stay and the kitchen was fully stocked. The only thing is that one room that's considered a bedroom is a very small room with a day bed, not really suitable for an adult. Our pilot, unfortunately, had to stay in a hotel. Otherwise, I highly recommend this property.

This property delivered everything as advertised, and more! Only 2 issues: firstly, it is located right next to a train line; second, despite the enormous space inside and outside the house, you are only permitted 10 people at any given time (and the management has cameras to verify!).

View of ocean from upper patio was awesome. Kitchen had all you need for preparing great meals. Access to Bedrooms was difficult. Spiral staircase as the ONLY inside access to bedrooms should have come with a warning. Most bathrooms had slippery shower floors - no rubber mats or safety bars. Had to Gerry-rig the only bathroom on main floor for our 93 yr. old mom. Not a lot of lighting. Bedrooms dark. We enjoyed our family time, however more safety features were expected and would have made the house more comfortable and accessible for all family members. We won’t be back.

The company that manages the property is wonderful as is the concierge and there are many services you can use to enhance your stay - we chose pre-arrival grocery deliver and on-property massages. You can hear freeway noise in the master bedroom loft and out on the deck at times and you can definitely hear the train. Luckily it only came by a few times and not at an ungodly hour. This place would be great for a crowd but wasn't overwhelming for a our smaller group as most of the extra space/bedrooms are on the bottom 3rd level.Pros:The house has spectacular ocean views and access to a sparsely populated beach.
