Located in Auckland Region, this lovely condo for $121 per night is a great option for your next trip. Located in the hub of Matakana just a 3 minute walk to the village with parking available. Located behind the main house the cottage is quaint and cosy and suitable for 2 people only (king bed or 2 singles) Fully self contained with tea/coffee/toaster/fridge . There is plenty of outdoor space with a wrap around deck and small BBQ for your use . Beaches, golf course, vineyards nearby as well as restaurants , coffee bars all just minutes away. Minimum 2 nights. One small dog welcome - please ask at time of booking to discuss . Note: We are on the main road and not 100% fenced so pet owners would need to be aware of this and bring their own dog bedding. Check in/out time is negotiable , please ask. Please also advise at time of booking if Twin Beds Extras: Cleaning (included); Linen (included);

This property was in walking distance of the main shops and a short drive to a number of beaches. The owners were polite and communicated well. Check in and out was easy. The property was cosy and a great place to stay.

I had an amazing stay in Matakana. The host was super friendly and welcoming, and the space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area. Definitely recommend!

We went to Matakana for a wedding and after a late night home were rudely awoken at 7.30am by the owner talking loudly on the cell phone outside our unit. To make matters worse someone then started cutting their hedge with an electric hedge cutter which was very noisy. It was a bit of a bad start to our day & left us a bit disgruntled.

It was the best place to stay for my partner and I. Everything you need from your accomodation was there and as a bonus everything else you may have needed was in walking distance. Great place to stay if you ever are going to need a place to stay in Matakana.

Such an amazing little place in a perfect location right by matakana village. Glenys and Tony are the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this amazing little place for a perfect weekend getaway

Wonderful host met us as soon as we arrived and welcomed us. Studio accommodation with bed in the same room as the kitchen and dining room, separate room with toilet and shower. Everything was impeccably clean, and in good working order. Very central in Matakana, we were able to leave the car outside the guests house and walk into the restaurants, shop, cinema, and along a small section of the river. Next to our accommodation was a food truck serving delicious Thai food. We will definitely return. Thank you Glenys

Glenys made our stay wonderful - not only through her warm greeting when we arrived but by thoughtfully providing info about the local area and a lovely dish of butter and preserves and milk in the fridge. Located a very short walk from the main hub of Matakana, the accommodation was compact and very clean. It had everything we needed for my daughter and I. We had a very enjoyable stay and would return without hesitation. Thank you.

This cottage had everything we needed. It was walking distance to Matakana Village. Lovely garden setting very quiet. Very clean and hosts were excellent, we really enjoyed our stay. We appreciated being able to take our little dog..

It was lovely but so many things out for such a small space. It made unpacking for 2 days and putting out our own things a little difficult. To be fair, the weather was horrendous and shoes had to be inside the door. There was no doormat inside, just a wet one outside the door. We had to use the bath mat, of which there was only one, and a towel we had brought ourselves to keep the doorway dry and safe. Lastly, it was nice to have a coffee pod machine AND plunger coffee to offer but a jar of Moccona would have sufficed and given the kitchenette more space. Suited to one person for a few nights or a couple for just one night.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous little cottage and would definitely stay there again. It's compact but the space is so well thought-out, it's very tastefully decorated and every little detail is perfect. From the basket with Ecostore shampoo & conditioner to use, snow-white towels, blankets for outside, torch and umbrella, and so much more! What a treat to find a little box of Matakana chocolates for us to enjoy. And it was perfect to be within walking distance to the market, pub, etc. Thank you so much. Andrew & Lone

Gorgeous small cottage : sparkly clean with everything and more you need right in the middle of beautiful Matakana. Lovely and cosy outside area to relax. Owners are very friendly and welcoming and helped out with transport to the wedding venue. Thank you so much. We love to come back!

I was absolutely at peace & felt I was at a secluded retreat. So private & tranquil. The host's were like family & went out of their way to make me feel comfortable & welcome. I can truly recommend this wee slice of heaven.
