Wonderful stay! Vanessa was a great host! House and pool were perfect for our family. Hope to come back!

We had an amazing time. We spent all day each day in pool and ventured over the beach. the house was clean and plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. We rearranged a bit of furniture to have a dance party one evening to celebrate our bride-to-be and it was the perfect space. The kitchen was fully stocked and we made every meal at the house. There wasn't much that was lacking in that house!

An amazing home for our family of eight !! Spacious rooms and baths... A well stocked kitchen...The pool and hot tub were the main draw, of course, with kids !! Lots of towels and linens... Vanessa was a joy to work with... We have already booked for 2022 !!

We enjoyed our week at Beach Gallery. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. Our little ones, 5 and under, loved the little beach. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating for everyone. The yard and landscaping could use some work and mosquitoes were a bit of a problem. Inside, there was plenty of room for everyone. Bathrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We appreciated the laundry room facilities. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The refrigerator kept filling with water, not sure why. The garbage disposal didn’t work but that wasn’t a big issue. The inside could use some updates but it was comfortable and roomy. The location is great- quiet but within walking distance of downtown and restaurants. Plenty of parking for 4 vehicles. We enjoyed our stay!

When we arrived the house and pool and hot tub were clean and nicel. Lots of history and personality in the house decor that definitely did not remind you of a hotel (wonderful). Parking was great. Plenty of room for our 4 cars. The fridge had an issue with pooling water but I did not inform the host of this until checkout as it did not affect the function. There was a lock on the back slider door which led to the pool which is great for travelers with kids but we couldn't get it to lock. However I did not call the host and even ask about it so maybe it was just us. The host was wonderful. I just didn't take the time to check in with her about it. The public beach was so close and very nice. Bathrooms and snack bar and large parking lot that made transporting all of our beach gear easy. Plenty of things to do in New Buffalo and vicinity. The washer and dryer were also wonderful as we had 5 kids pool swimming and beaching every day. The house is on two levels so it was nice to have a separate tv and game area for the kids downstairs too. The pool and hot tub did get dirty as the week went on and I would have preferred that someone would have come to clean it later in the week. This may have been affected by several storms that week that left dirt in the pool and hot tub cover. The kitchen was very nice. Only problem there was that there were very few teaspoons (really, that was the ONLY thing, it was great). I would definitely go there again. It was a wonderful experience for our family.

We enjoyed our stay at Vanessa's house in New Buffalo. The house is a quaint mid century modern home, furnished in the same style, perhaps a bit dated but perfectly acceptable for our purposes. I believe this was Vanessa's parents' home. The sleeping, living and eating space were great for the 7 adults and 4 children staying there. One bedroom in the basement doesn't have a door, so that presented a bit of a privacy problem that we solved. The swimming pool was great and was the focus of our daily activities. The town and beach are an easy 20 minute walk from the house or short 5 minute drive. If your looking for a relaxing week in New Buffalo, in a quiet neighborhood, this is the place!

We really enjoyed staying at the house. The outside could of been a lot cleaner and landscaping was poor. Also need to add hand towels to the bathrooms. The inside of the house very nice just the outside needs some work.

The number of sleeping areas and pool and hot tub were perfect for my friend's bachelorette party. The location is super close to a very small, private beach (which is rocky) and to the downtown area. The owner has a clear list of instructions in her home, including proper care for the pool, which just shows how much she cares. The main reason we booked this location was because of the hot tub and pool, which were awesome. The pool has an electric cover, which is very convenient. My only complaint was that the guy who cleans her pool came around 6pm Friday evening. Luckily none of us were in the pool at that time, but if check-in isn't until 3 or 4pm, you would think the pool would get cleaned before then. Also, there were a lot of bugs on the property (spiders, etc) but not sure if anything could be done about that just because of its location.

This house was so unique and beautiful! It had the perfect amount of space to comfortably fit 10 of us girls for a fun girls weekend. The hot tub was perfect, the heated pool was amazing, and the fire pit area didn’t disappoint! There were so many spaces within the house that fit all of us for mornings of coffee, just sitting around hanging out, and sitting together all for dinners. It was a short walk to The Stray Dog and was a quiet and safe feeling neighborhood. We can’t wait to have another girls weekend here next year!

The home is well set up for lots and lots of hang out and relaxation. The pool and hot tub are perfect--easy to work and super convenient. And the host Vanessa is really responsive and helpful. If I had any requests, it might be places to hang our swim towels. Otherwise, I loved it and would love to come back.

We had a fun, relaxing couple of days! The pool was fabulous, and the neighborhood was convenient and quiet.

This property was perfect for two families (ten of use total) with preschoolers to teens. Plenty of common space~ separate sitting areas inside & out so we were not on top of each other at all. The pool was a great size with a very easy to use kid proof pool cover and plenty of floats & toys. Hot tub was great as well. great fire pit with lots of seating. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans and baking dishes etc. We ate in and grilled a lot and had everything we needed. Nice spacious bathrooms. The master had plenty of room for a full size air mattress for our preschooler. The dining table fit us all and there was a nice banquette table off the kitchen also. There is also a nice big outside patio dining table. The bsmt bedrooms were cool which we loved but bring extra socks if you get cold sleeping. Lots of blankets and throw blankets around too. Nice washer and dryer. Literally next to community beach for sunsets with rocky beach that is perfect for skipping stones. Nice big public sandy beach close by with $12 all day parking or $5 for half day. New Buffalo has lots of ice cream shops!! easy to bike ride. We brought bikes and didn't need to drive unless we were going to the little towns nearby. Vanessa was great and easy to get ahold of~ lockbox entry is super convenient! This was such a fun house for making priceless memories!

We absolutely loved our time here- fabulous heated pool and hot tub, lovely house with everything we needed, comfy beds, close to the lake!

We rented this property for a four day weekend. We loved the mid century modern decor. The pool was great and so was the hot tub. The owner was very responsive and flexible. Would definitely come again.

The online description of this property is accurate. There was plenty of room for our family to hang out, eat together, and enjoy the amenities of the place, including 5 separate bedrooms on 2 levels and 2 separate outdoor spaces for relaxing. The community beach was a short walk, but it was very small (just about enough space for 1 family). However, the public beach at New Buffalo was wonderful, as was the beach at Warren Dunes, a few miles north. The kids loved the on site pool and the hot tub. The house itself is not new or fancy, but we enjoyed the relaxed feeling of the place. The location could not have been better with plenty of nearby restaurants, brewpubs, and shopping, as well as being close to other nice towns- we spent the better part of a day in St. Joseph- a little over 30 minutes drive away. We all agreed it was a great vacation.
