Situated in Coromandel, this charming house for $260 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Arrive at Ruffins Bay and arrive in paradise. This private beachfront property exceeds the expectations of anyone who stays here. Amazing, magical, beautiful, tranquil and a peaceful hideaway are just some of the words guests have used to describe Ruffins Rocks. The well-equipped house boasts fantastic sea views across to Coromandel Town and the bi-folding kitchen connect the house to the beach. Alfresco dining couldn't be easier with the covered deck and the only thing separating the house from the beach is the large lawn perfect for backyard cricket or an afternoon snooze. There’s plenty of parking for the boat and it can be launched from the beach in front of the house. The Coromandel is the perfect place for hooking a snapper or perhaps just go for a leisurely paddle in one of the property’s kayaks. The bay is accessed from a private road along from Wyuna Bay and is only shared with six other properties so enjoy the exclusivity of having the beach to yourself. Build a sandcastle with the kids, walk to the jetty at the end of the bay and dangle of a line, have a paddle in the calm water at high-tide or find a shady spot and simply relax. A bush walk from the back of the property will take you up to the top of the hill where you will be rewarded by an impressive sunset. The property is well-equipped with all the luxuries of home including wi-fi, gas stove top, dishwasher, washing machine and fireplace. It is modern, warm and comfortable. Set slightly back from the beach, the three bedroom house (including sleep-out) offers privacy and birdsong. A quick 7-minute car ride will take you into Coromandel Town for shops, cafes and restaurants where the are plenty of options for dining out. Ruffins Rocks is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, fishing trip, weekend away with friends or a family holiday to make memories with the kids. For larger groups or extended families, a neighbouring property is also available for rent. Please ask for more details. Loved our stay here. We made great use of the kayaks, and the walk behind the house to the top of the hill was stunning. Breakfast every morning on the deck was always a fab start to the day and a great place to relax in the evening. The location was also a good base for things to do around Coromandel. The house had everything we needed for a Christmas we'll always remember fondly. Would love to come back one day. Thank you, Nikki!

Such a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the bach's view and comfort. We did the walk to Long Beach and Tuck Beach and around the Kauri tree - really recommend this walk. Thank you Char for being so accommodating with linen supply. Thank you Nikki for the privilege to use your bach.

The delight to see it the same, was awesome, the closeness to the beach our old realities managed the stairs and walk easily. The Californian Quail waiting at the v=back door when we woke was a delete, nicely furnished, well appointed, loved doing the linen extra this time!! Thanks we will be back !

Awesome spot. Would stay again for sure. Outside Rubbish’s bins we’re full when we got there so felt sink to put our two bags on ground. Hope the cats didn’t get in to them.

Beautifully clean, very quiet location. My only negative is had to do dishes and put them away before we left, normally you just put the dishwasher on and the cleaner puts them away, that's what the cleaning fee should include.

We chose this location because we were able to book two bach's side by side for our extended family holiday. We loved the location with it's private beach and boat ramp right outside. Our kids had an awesome time using the kayaks and exploring the surrounds. The bach itself was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed.

What a beautiful spot, myself and three old friends needed a getaway and we found it. Kayaking in the morning, fire and yarning in the evening. The Chromecast on the TV have us some couch time later in the evening. Thanks for the break!!!

We had a great stay, house was cozy and the fire was already laid when we got there. Toys in the cupboard for our little ones. Climb the hill up the back (it isn’t too steep just weaves) it’s an incredible view. We arrived in the dark and couldn’t find the driveway easily (you drive right up to the grey house on the waterfront and then the driveway leads to the right). Beautiful spot, we fished off the wharf and had dinner at a pub in Coromandel. Thanks for a lovely thoughtful stay.

Great spot with awesome views across the bay to wake up to each morning! The bach layout to super easy and very social being open plan. Plenty of room for vehicles and boat with water handy to run boat motor etc The private beach with boat ramps makes it handy az for launching boat. Great finding out about Ruffins bay history from the friendly locals. Will be planning another stay in the future for sure.

The check in was easy, no need to meet anyone or go to another location for the key. The property is tidy and what a view. Beds super comfy with a well stocked kitchen for utensils and cookware. Private road didnt have to put up with cars going in and out. The bay was peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Right out of the hub of activity but close enough to everything. Ideal place if you want a few quiet days. The township is close enough that we could duck in and get fish & chips but then could get away from traffic noise & bussle Killer sunrises!
