Nice quiet relaxing place to stay.

Nice central location, easy walk to town centre. Good heating.

Would have been nice to have the info on the parking before we arrived.

Looks quirky and stylish, and great location, but some disappointing aspects.

Great location: quiet, & central. Nicely, and stylishly, furnished in the main living room. Quick communication with owners. Nice touches such as jam and bread and coffee, etc provided.

It was not as advertised: the parking was not either on the property or outside the property. The advertisement led us to believe there was free parking, and the initial communication with the owner (in writing) said they would provide parking coupons. They never did. When we got there, they refused. We had to buy them ourselves. The parking was further up the street, which is a hill, so if you have arthritis like me, not a good option. The apartment had ants, including in the shower. Even after they were swished down the plug hole with a shower, the next day, they were back again! No spare towels. No extra bedding, so we were very cold at night, and had to borrow bedding from family in Wellington. Only bedroom is TINY: you cannot walk around the bed, with a step set of steps down into it from the bathroom.

Lovely. Would recommend as a venue to explore wellington.

Accommodation was lovely. Easy access to wellington centre. Good facilities and a lovely bowl of fruit left for us which was most welcome.

The bed takes up all the space in the bedroom so getting in and out of bed was in itself tricky, especially at night when needing the loo. Because the bedroom was so configured, we had to keep our suitcases in the living room and couldn’t really unpack. However, the bed was very comfy and we always had a good night’s sleep.

We were happy with our experience at City Edge Nest.

Well appointed kitchen, breakfast items were appreciated, the apartment was very clean. Communication with the host was via the booking.com app and was easy.

The bedroom is very small. Not easy to move around the room, the bed wasn't very comfortable.

If you feel the cold, stay here in summer.

Very well equipped apartment

The apartment was only 19 degrees with the two heaters, the following day owner brought another heater. But didn’t really warm bedroom. The bedroom only just fits the bed with only over head shelves for luggage, so we kept our bags in lounge room. Also tricky steps down to this bed “nest”.

A modern-styled home inside a classic house in the outskirts of Wellington CBD

The interior design was very well done, we had all the facilities for cooking and laundry, and overall really loved how cosy it is. Comms from the property managers was good regarding self check-in/out.

Bed frame was a tad creaky but otherwise comfortable.

Great little apartment in a very convenient spot.

The location is great! Really close to many cafes, bars and shops in the city centre (within 10-15 min walk) yet quiet and peaceful for a good night sleep. The bedroom is a bit small but the living area and kitchen are roomy and have everything you need. We loved that there were a good number of windows to cool down the flat in the evening as there is not A/C.

Nothing really, I would only add A/C to make this place even better! We couldn’t use the deck because it needs to be fixed, but looks like a great spot to have dinner/breakfast. Just be aware there are some steps up to the flat and the staircase is a bit steep and narrow if you have lots of luggage. Totally manageable tho!

A quirky apartment on the edge of Wellington City

The apartment had everything we required for a week's stay inc good cooking facilities, a large fridge, TV, wifi, washing machine etc. Good hot shower and water pressure. Some basic pantry supplies were left by our hosts, which was very welcome over the Christmas period and, some lovely fresh lillies greeted up on arrival. The bedroom was a on the small side and somewhat awkward to manouevre around as the bed is almost against one wall but was a welcome place to relax on hot afternoons, as the sun comes directly into the lounge area in summer and is very hot. Unfortunatley, the back balcony was out of action while we were visiting. We needed to contact our hosts and they were very responsive to our request. This apartment was indeed on the very edge of the city. We walked down into the city each day but caught a bus back in the afternoon. You do need to be aware that Wellington is very hilly and the apartment is up a steep hill. Overall, this was a convenient stay for us rather than a sterile serviced apartment in the CBD.

A few more instructions re: closest supermarket, how rubbish collection works etc. A microwave proof container would be helpful.

fantastic stay, very quiet and we certainly got our exercise walking around the city centre

well appointed and provided everything we needed for our stay

a little dangerous at the top of the stairs with no hand rail and bedroom was very small so hard to manoeuvre around the bed.

Great little flat, right on the edge of town

This place was a lovely home away from home for a few days. We'll equipped kitchen, good location, awesome shower, fab to have washing machine, lovely people to deal with. It was nice that there were bits of breakfast things to use and, there was even a packet of biscuits. Good set up with TV and chargers etc.

Shame we couldn't use the little terrace. While the pillows are nice and fluffy and great for reading, some thinner pillows would have been good for sleeping. Price felt a little steep, but might just be the going rate. I would def stay again!

Suitable for our WOW weekend in Wellington

Great location with walking distance to the city. Clean and well appointed though we we mainly out for most of our stay. Shower had great water pressure.

On arrival - no bed linen was available for the sofa bed - was rectified once we were able to contact the host. Would not recommend sleeping on the sofa bed as very uncomfortable. Difficult to heat the entire space especially the back bedroom, which is very tiny. Informed the host about the broken lid on the electric kettle and never received a reply. Guttering above the entrance door is blocked with debris and plants causing the rain to overflow like a waterfall and disturbing our sleep.

Terrific for two

Great location and facilities - we appreciated the fresh flowers, fruit bowl, coffee and breakfast supplies. The place was very clean.

We would recommend this property for two guests rather than three, as the sofa bed is not comfortable. Additionally, we would recommend bringing extra towels if staying longer than a night or two.

A stylish and sunny apartment with views, good art and books, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable chairs, in a great location. Unexpected extras such a fruit bowl, teas, breakfast cereals, etc.

Quirky retreat in the Wellington fringe...

Nifty space. Nice location on city fringe. Most excellent were the little touches on arrival, they go a long way.

Minor things. Not with mentioning here, all good.

Was nice but probably not suitable to stay in with young children.

The location was good. There was milk, cereals, coffee, chocolates and fresh flowers which was nice. Lots of leads for phone charging which was cool and Netflix was a bonus for the sleepless nights.

The fold out couch used as 2nd bed for stay was incredibly uncomfortable. Would not recommend as suitable for that purpose. Couldve done with extra towels (4 provided) as had to wash daily and try and get dry on old rack in inclement Wellington weather. The stairs are quite treacherous and supervision is needed for young kids. Lastly, there was a water leak outside apartment which we waded through every time entering and leaving was a bit mucky.

Was roomy and quiet. Good location close to what I needed.

Had issues with the water when I arrived but it was sorted quickly with no further problems. Bed was comfortable enough but with a good topper would be way better.
