At 72 feet high, it takes 22 trained and detail-oriented workers to erect this brilliant towering marvel constructed of 885 local artisan baskets. It weighs a whopping 6,500 pounds and the star alone is 90 pounds (try stealing that, Mr. Grinch!). This iconic tree is truly breathtaking in all of its vibrant 11 color schemes day or night. On December 7th, the official lighting ceremony was held and guests and Vidanta staff alike came to see the gorgeous tree and its 7-foot star shine bright. With Christmas music drifting through the warm night air, and the scent of baked goods wafting in from the nearby pastry shop, Croquant, the spirit of the holidays was impossible not to indulge in.
