Jose Luiz is an excellent and very attentive host. He met us outside the apartment, showed us how everything worked in detail, then took us a walk round the neighborhood pointing out good shops, bars and restaurants to use. He even gave us a pre-loaded electronic bus pass to use the frequent local buses that travel into the old town (the beach is an easy 10 min walk while the old town is a bit further).

No problems at all.
