With a wonderful blend of family comforts and high end finish Walnut Cottage was the perfect 5 night stay for our young family. The kitchen is well stocked and Michelle went out of her to way to welcome us with little extras that were much appreciated. The garden is spacious, with open lawn, ideal for games of cricket and running our 5 year old out all day long whilst the deck and BBQ were just the spot for a well earned sundowner and bite to eat. Whether a couple or young family we’d certainly be happy to recommend a stay at Walnut Cottage.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Walnut Cottage and absolutely loved it. It was so tranquil and relaxing, which is just what we needed. The house is so well thought out and every detail attended to. There was not one thing we were left wanted - expect to stay longer! The gardens are also gorgeous. A beautiful house to explore the region from. I hope to go back again! Thanks to the hosts for making our stay memorable.

Walnut Cottage exceeded expectations and was much lovelier than the listing indicates. It was warm and welcoming and the garden, in early September, was full of birdsong and little garden treasures. The cottage was beautifully styled and equipped with everything we could possibly need, the fire was set and ready to go, the beds were very comfortable and linen and towels of the very best quality. Everything felt fresh and clean. Walnut Cottage is the sort of place you arrive at, but find it difficult to leave, even to explore the area. Excellent communication with the host Michelle, too. Simply wonderful!

Clean, cosy, all conveniences provided, great quality fittings, glassware, appliances - perfect for a winter weekend getaway. The fireplace was ready to light, and we felt instantly welcome. We will return in the Spring/Summer to better appreciate the outside deck, BBQ and beautiful garden. It was also great to have power provided in the carport so we could do an overnight top up charge for our EV.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Walnut Cottage and hope to visit again soon. The cottage itself is gorgeous- beautifully renovated and has everything you need. We loved the fire place, 2 lounge rooms and the deck overlooking the most beautiful garden. The cottage was also immaculate - probably the cleanest holiday house we've stayed in. Highly recommend.
