Nestled in Ship Bottom, this attractive house for $528 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Perfect Ship Bottom location. Walk to beach, bay, yoga and the best bakery on the island. Boat and jetski rental available at the end of the street. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your vacation in LBI. The house includes new split system for AC/Heat, beach badges(6), washer/dryer, outside shower, WIFI and more. In addition, we have included Kayaks for your use that can be launched at the end of the street. 4 beach cruisers. *NEW* Solo stove fire pit added in 2023 Linens are not included for your stay. Must be 25 or older Sorry, no pets Come and have a great vacation!

This house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Very clean house. Although small, the owner has done an excellent job at creating space,’which includes a “teen hangout” in the garage! The house also comes with 4 bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, a fire pit and grill. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice house on a good location. Our issue was tropical storm Ophelia who kept us from enjoying the outside amenities! However, our party of 6 adults and 1 toddler were comfortable spending time together in the house.

We enjoyed our stay, the beach house is decorated nicely and in a great location. Overall the property needs some TLC to make it ideal for a beach vacation! The house wasn’t real clean when we arrived and we had to do some cleaning in all rooms. The rugs are worn and stained require shampooing in rooms, stairways and hallways. The living furniture had stains and needs to be replaced or cleaned. The bedrooms were nice, however the room with the queen bed was unusable since mattress was so uncomfortable, sank in and should be replaced. The kitchen and bathrooms were fine, however in master bathroom faucet was loose and had to tighten. The outside deck, fire pit and sitting areas needed to be straightened and cleaned up. The garage door was hard to open, needs lubricant and we discovered cable was off pulley and reattached. Garage sitting area was nicely decorated, it was left messy, cans etc… the couches were dirty and worn. We straightened it out the best we could but we didn’t use it. There was a great selection of beach accessories in the garage however they were in disarray, sandy, needed cleaning and we had to straighten up. The bicycles needed adjusting to safely use, however the one bike with hand brakes we could not use since we didn’t have tools to adjust. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, we left the house cleaner which the property manager thanked us for. We have been going to LBI for 35+ years & with a little TLC & attention to detail this would be great!

We had a group of 6 in a diverse range of ages & everyone was able to get where they wanted, how they wanted, when they wanted! 5 minutes to the beach, less than a minute to the bay - we utilized the bikes AND kayaks that were provided, the converted garage, the cornhole game & grill - everything was spot on. Whitecaps could easily hold 8-10 people/kids, 12 is a stretch - but I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you Christine!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home, It was well equipped with not only essentials, but some very nice extras such as bikes, corn hole, a buggy board and more. We hope to stay here again next year.

We had a great stay at Whitecaps. Christine was an extremely gracious and helpful! The property was extremely central to the beach and other great local spots (bakery, mini-golf all within a few minute walk). The garage and backyard provided plenty of space to relax and unwind after the beach. We would love to be back!

This house was perfect for our family stay on LBI! Nothing but great things to say… we enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning, sitting by the firepit playing corn hole, and having fun in the garage for late night card games! Just a block from the beach made mid-day lunches easy and gave our family the flexibility to come and go as they please. Perfect location to shops/restaurants/mini golf in Ship Bottom. So lucky to have found this place and will definitely be back!!

House was perfect - clean, great amenities and close walk to beach, breakfast, mini golf, ice cream, and surf shop. Christine is top notch for communicating quickly and being accommodating. The teen hang out garage is a huge bonus.

This home was perfect for our family of older teenagers! The garage hangout gave them a little extra space from the adults to play cards or stay up late watching movies! We utilized the kayaks provided to explore the bay and it was no problem walking them to the launch spot at the end of the block. The boys fished at the bay every night (1 block away) and having bikes at the house was a huge bonus! I love riding bikes at the beach! The house was updated and clean; adjustable AC in each room; plenty of room for dining outside. We had a great week!

Perfect beach week!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was as pictured when we entered the beach house. Clean and inviting. The location was absolutely perfect...short walk to the beach and bay and restaurants. A great bonus was the cruising bikes! They were used every day! Having A/C control for each room was a big plus for individual comfort. We would not hesitate to stay at this location again. Great memories were made!

White Caps was the perfect vacation spot
The location was great, a few steps from both the beach and bay as well as shops and restaurants. The property was equipped with all you need for a beach vacation-beach chairs and umbrellas, beach badges, kayaks, beach games. The house itself was very clean and updated (exactly as shown in the pictures ), our favorite part was the finished garage-a hotspot for our 3 teens. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Shore Getaway!!
We loved our stay at Whitecaps, all pictures and descriptions are very accurate and exceeded our expectations. Christine was easy to work with and quick to answer our questions. It is a great location, one block from the shore and the bay. House fully equipped and very comfortable for our 9 people group. Garage excellent for the teenagers!!

Relaxing Beach Getaway
We had a great family beach vacation at Whitecaps! We found it’s centrally situated location on LBI to be very convenient for all of our vacation activities. This home is a quick walk to the ocean, bay,restaurants,shops,markets and activities. It was very clean, well stocked, and roomy enough for the 8 of us. We especially enjoyed and made good use of the extra lounging space in the finished garage! Christine was very easy to work with and responsive. We definitely recommend!!!

The property was exceptionally well maintained with everything we needed. The owner was extremely considerate and responsive. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable stay on Long Beach Island.

Great shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Recommended restaurants include Ship Bottom Shellfish, The Arlington, Surf Taco, Pinky’s and my favorite The Old Causeway which is off island but 10 minute drive. Also check out the new Boatyard which is super cool. You really don’t need to bring anything but clothes and food. Rest is already there waiting for you. The garage was a great space that our teenagers loved. The house is in great condition and kitchen is equipped with pretty much everything you could want or need. We highly recommend this great house and Christine was great to work with. Hope to be back next year. This time with no tropical storm.

Whitecaps Experience
Whitecaps is like Home away from Home. Everything you need is there, from the practical to the fun. Owner is a pleasure to work with and house is very clean. Location is an easy walk to the ocean and/or the bay. Access to restaurants, bakery, stores and mini golf also within walking distance. A memorable time was had by all and we would go back again! We just love LBI!

Wonderful getaway
We loved everything about our week at LBI at the Whitecaps. The house was immaculate and fully stocked. The set up is perfect for families and our two kids loved having the space and a big yard to play in. The outdoor shower was key for our sandy walks from the beach. And the finished garage was great for the kids to play in for the one rainy day we got. Both the beach and the bay are 3 blocks each way so less than a 5 min walk. The location is perfect - Mystic Meats, Sandbox cafe and Ferrara bakery are all under a 5 min walk. Christine was super responsive and our check in and check out process was seamless. We’ll be back for sure! Definitely recommend.

Exceeded our expectations
We had the best trip at Whitecaps. The house was so nice and clean and so kid friendly which our 3 children loved. We adults were so happy sitting out on the high deck and watching the sunset and the kids enjoyed playing in the garage area which was beautifully decorated and such a great addition to the home. We hope to be back next year!

Whitecaps - Awesome Christine - Amazing
First let me check all the boxes - clean, as advertised, perfect space, great location (Sandbox Cafe, Joe Pop's, LBI Diner, Hartland Golf, Bageleddis, Sand Trap all within walking distance) Great beach long, not too crowded, sandbar. Cost was amazing for what we got. Add-ons: beach badges, gift basket, sea kayaks, two grills, beach chairs, and ping pong table.
Okay, what sets this place apart is the owner, never have I had a rental from a more responsive, kind, and reasonable person. I had to make some changes throughout our stay and the response was always no problem. Trust me when I say Christine was SUPER flexible and VERY understanding of our situation. She is the differentiator on why you should rent this house over others in LBI. I am a big believer in working with people who are nice and responsive. She is this in SPADES. Go to Whitecaps and rest assured you will be taken care of.
