We had the best week in this house as a group of friends and couples. The staff was amazing, attentive and so nice to all of us. The food was incredible and there was nothing that could have been better. I don’t think the photos do the property the justice it deserves - each large suite was well appointed and comfortable.

Miguel was very helpful and friendly and always available. The staff kept the rooms and common areas very clean and the food was absolutely delicious! Miguel also made some great mixed drinks and had good recommendations for outside events. The house and pool are awesome. Great trip!

This was our second time at the property and, as it was last time, it was amazing. The home was so beautiful, and the staff was perfect. The pool, the location, the food, everything! It was exactly what we’d hoped — a restful, rejuvenating, fun time. Lots of time spent at the beach, in the pool, exploring Bucerias. We can’t wait until our next time back at Hacienda Camino al Mar!

Everything was wonderful. The staff, the food, the location and the margaritas were excellent. Hope to return next year. I have been coming to the PV area for 20 years and my adult children said this was the best for everything.

Our group ranged in age from 1 to 80 and everyone had a great time. The property is beautiful and we had a perfect amount of space. Some family members had not seen each other for quite a while and new happy memories were created around the pool and at the long table enjoying the great meals served by Miguel and the rest of the staff.
The location is perfect and allows for everyone to enjoy their visit whether it is a visit to the beach, the local market, stores or bars and restaurants.
We would highly recommend a stay here.

We were a family of 15. Adults and small children. The house was spacious and comfortable . The totally private warm pool and outdoor earring area were amazing ! Just one block from the beach with chairs and boogie boards available . The house is steps away from all sorts of restaurants and shopping with an atm just around the corner
. What really makes this the best place to stay is Miguel , Olga and Angie.
Miguel speaks great English and will make sure you have everything you need and want as well as help you make arrangements for excursions and transportation. He is a delightful person .
The food was amazing and we never ate out because we could eat amazing Mexican food in the comfort of our beautiful Hacienda.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for making this such a memorable family vacation for us.

We were 6 couples who stayed here for a week. I would highly recommend! The staff were always cheerful and so very helpful! Miguel took very good care of us, helping with carrying/setup on beach days (even delivering beverages one afternoon!), driving to banks to help exchange monies, arranging transportation for outings, and keeping us well stocked. Olga’s food choices and meal preparations were FANTASTIC! So delicious, and the family style around the table made for some great memories! YAY! Angelica kept us neat and tidy without ever being intrusive and her smile lights up a room! There was plenty of space for the 12 of us without feeling crowded! We swam in the pool and also enjoyed the rooftop area! I feel safe saying that we would all return to this hacienda!

This was our 2nd amazing stay here at the house. One reason we came back was the house and location - few mins walk to the beach and a short walk to the Bucerias market and central to many restaurants in the area. The house itself is beautiful and very nice to have ensuite bathrooms in all the rooms. Another big reason we came back was the staff - they were phenomenal. every meal was delicious, our rooms were cleaned daily, and we were taken care like family. highly recommend this place to every one, just don't book the dates we are going!

Never stayed somewhere with full service like this before. Thought it would be weird having other people in our house. But Miguel, Angela, and Olga are so unobtrusive.
The location is good. Easy walking to a number of shops and restaurants. Cafe and sports bar immediately next door. Conveniences without being in the middle of hustle and bustle.

The best part of this rental property is the staff. Miguel is an amazing host, he made our stay so pleasant. Olga prepared delicious Mexican food, and Anggy made our stay very comfortable.

Amazing family vacation!
This is an amazing property for a large family. We were 7 adults 4 kids plus 1 15 month old and had plenty of space. There is a high chair and playpen for the baby. The kids loved the pool and the sandy beach was only a few minutes walk from the house. The best part of the house was the staff. They were absolutely fantastic! Miguel made sure we had everything we needed and made everything we wanted happen. On days we wanted to go to the beach, he brought chairs and umbrellas for us and set them up. Olga made delicious meals for everyone and Angie made sure our rooms were cleaned, beds made and had fresh towels everyday. The staff were very organized and made sure our stay was perfect.
Shayne, the host was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend this place to all groups! We are already planning a return trip next year!

Christmas Vacation
From the time we arrived at Hacienda Camino al Mar the staff made us fell at home. We had 7 adults and 4 children and the house was perfect for our family especially the connecting room for a little one to be close to parents. Olga, Angela and Cristian took care of all of our needs they were amazing . Shayne took care of all arrangements and made our trip hassle free. The heated pool was wonderful. Only short walk to the beach and the kids loved the boogie boards. We enjoyed the fireplace on the Terrace at night. Would definitely go back.

FAMILY VACATION
This is a very special home, and my family and I truly loved our 10 day stay at Hacienda Camino al Mar. We were 3 generations made up of 7 adults and 4 kids (3-10 years) and our expectations were far exceeded.
Layout - The hacienda is excellent for a large group and has a very authentic feel. The design of the house allowed everyone to be comfortable and spend time together in a relaxing environment. The hacienda wraps around a large outdoor eating area where we ate every meal. The house provided endless beach towels, umbrellas for the beach, foldup beach chairs, boogie boards, internet and really anything else that you could need. And then there is the roof top deck--awesome views.
Rooms - There are 4 large bedrooms on the second, and 2 on the main level--one with an attached room with 2 twin beds that gave the younger children their own safe space.
Pool - The salt water pool is amazing, about 4' feet deep, and was cleaned a couple times during our visit. There is a large bluetooth speaker which keeps the party going at the pool until someone starts playing country music. Ha!
Location - You can't find a better location in Bucerias. It is only a 2 minute walk to the BEST beach and the best restaurants, bars, coffee shops and bakeries. Tacos and more tacos are in every direction We felt safe the entire time.
Staff - I could go on and on about the Hacienda, but the staff is what makes this place truly special. Patricia cooks superb meals, Angela keeps everything looking fresh and Andreas ensures that you have everything you need -- from pitchers of margaritas, restaurant recommendations, taxis, finding the English channel for football games or keeping the cooler neatly iced and packed. Thank you for all of your hospitality.
I cannot say enough about what a truly special place Hacienda Camino al Mar is and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway from the ordinary. The memories made will last a lifetime. We hope to return soon.

Very accommodating for our trip of 13.We have an illness in the family and this was our Christmas gathering.Rooms were excellent and our kids certainly enjoyed having our own pool whenever they wanted.Staff and service was also excellent

Absolute Epic Vacation
From the minute that we arrived the staff was Amazing! Located 1block from the Beach and with the Breathtaking views from the Terrace each evening, this Hacienda will definitely be revisited! The staff is First Class! Andres was always there to make any reservation, give expertise and to ensure that everyone had an Epic Vacation! Patricia is a Phenomenal Chef who will make every meal Amazing. Maria also was Amazing! So if you want Amazing Views Spacious Rooms that each have their own character, then this is a must stay!

A true gem for large groups!
We travel to Mexico regularly to visit my husband's family. We chose Hacienda Camino al Mar (as well as the neighboring Casita Camino al Mar) to host our large group of 24 in total (15 adults, 9 children) during a 4 day beach vacation.
The property manager Shayne was very professional and easy to work with. She made sure everything - from our first meal at the Hacienda to the door signs on assigned bedrooms - was ready for our arrival.
Both homes were very clean upon our arrival, and were cleaned again each day by staff. The beds were super comfortable, and the food prepared by the cooks was delicious! We only ate out a couple of times because it was much easier to stay at the house and relax by the pools while eating something different for every meal.
The house staff was amazing. In addition to being responsive to our immediate needs, they were willing to go the extra mile without being asked. The houseman Andres was kind enough to carry beach chairs and umbrellas down to the beach for us on our first visit to the ocean.
This vacation was pricey by our family's standards, but 100% worth it. Our entire group had a wonderful time. Gracias a todos!

The villa is able to accommodate large groups. We went for our 50th wedding anniversary with 15 family members. The staff Maria, Angela and Andres spoiled us all. The food and drinks were excellent. They were very friendly and sincere our family will miss them dearly. Everything we needed or wanted was looked after. The villa is very close to the ocean, town and many nice restaurants and bars. This was truly one of the best vacations we have taken as a family. JJ, Patricia and Angelita, where the most amazing part of it all. We all decided that we would chose this home over any all inclusive resort. We have been to Puerto Vallarta 5 times, and this was by far our favorite! Drinks, table settings, food and super sweet people that made us feel right at home. WE will be back again!

We had a group of 15 family and friends and the team (Alejandro, Patricia and Angela) at the Hacienda took excellent care of us making the entire trip outstanding! The Hacienda is a great property with lots of room and comfortable amenities. Alejandro the houseman is always there to assist with anything you would like or hand you a nice cold cocktail of your choice. Patricia prepared wonderful meals, everyone loved and Angela worked hard keeping everything else fresh and read for us. I think our stay here has ruined us for all future vacations. It was honestly the best experience/vacation we've ever had. Alejandro, Angela and Patricia went over and above for us. They made us feel welcomed, like we were just at home. Besides the house being gorgeous, with all the amenities, it was warm and inviting. Alejandro is simply amazing. His bartending skills alone was totally worth it. Angela is the best too! Her smile lit up the place, with hugs to for all of us. And Patricia - she's a godsend. Her hands and skills in the kitchen rival the leading chefs in the world. We have never eaten so good in our lives. We wanted to pack all 3 of them into our luggage - we didn't want to leave.
We cannot say enough good things and sing enough praises. Thank you to everyone for their hospitality. We are already planning our next trip back.

Best Vacation Ever!
The villa was spectacular. Very authentic and beautifully furnished. The pool was perfect and had everything- floaties, basketball hoop and a volleyball net. The meals were delicious and well presented. Alex, the houseman made sure we were well taken care of every moment of our stay. He went above and beyond on more than one occasion. My son left his phone in a taxi one night and Alex took him into town and they got the phone back!!! He became like family. Bucerías was the perfect place - quiet little town but close enough to hop in a cab to P.V. The villa was steps to the beach and close to the market. Can’t wait to go back again!!

Way beyond our expectation!
This Hacienda is perfectly private yet steps from the beach. The suites are large and well appointed. We had a week with our family that had come to witness our beach wedding. The staff made our week. Their attention to detail and friendliness made each day special. The meals were outstanding and nothing was to much to ask for. Each day our rooms were cleaned and had that first day feel. Alejandro was a true gentleman, and gave the best service that I have ever had. Patricia our chef is very talented and each meal was exceptional. Angela quietly went about organizing cleaning and advising. They are the dream team. Planning our next trip to our home away from home.

Fabulous!!
Fabulous is the only word I can use to describe the experience my family and I had! We hadn't had a family vacation in 7 years, and our stay at the Hacienda Camino al Mar was definitely worth the wait! From the second we walked in the door, we were greeted with warmth and smiles, along with delicious snacks. The villa is absolutely beautiful, just as in the pictures. Patricia and Angela were amazing, making sure our bellies stayed full, and keeping the house looking as if 16 people were not staying there. Alejandro is the man! He was very attentive, and helped us plan our daily menus effectively, as we were a little ambitious :). He made sure we had EVERYTHING we wanted and needed, and arranged a tour for us into Puerto Vallarta. We consider them a part of our family now.
Bucerias is a small town, but there is so much to discover! We enjoyed walking the streets to explore, as well as shop. We were disappointed to learn that the Art Walk is only held during the high season, but it just gives us another reason to return.
Shayne was very responsive and easy to work with. With 16 people, including children, there were lots of concerns and questions, and Shayne did an excellent job of providing information and putting everyone at ease. I hate that we missed meeting you Shayne!

Perfect Hide-a-way, May 2018
An amazing home behind antique doors. This home was everything we were hoping for and more. Beautiful furnishings in each room, comfortable beds and very clean. We spent time at the pool, where we were treated to afternoon snacks and cocktails. If not at the pool then on an adventure or at the beach 1 block away. The staff for this villa is top notch! Alex, who took care of all our needs; from setting up our beach umbrella to making sure we always had what we needed. Patricia who prepared our wonderful meals and Angela who cleaned up after us. A highly recommended villa.

Terrific villa, and even more terrific staff!
What a wonderful vacation! The villa was fabulous. After several trips to Mexico including Bucerius we found the very best yet. The home and it's amenities are absolutely 5 star all the way! Everything was even better than advertised. As nice as the home was though the staff is even better!! I don't know how Alex could have been any nicer. What a great guy! It was like having your best friend taking care of everything possible. If it was up to me the man would get a very large raise. Patricia was super nice and what a great cook. The meals she fixed for us were fantastic. I'm not sure how they could have been any better. Angela is a sweetheart, so nice and she was always right there to keep our rooms spotless and clean. Everyone was super friendly! I just can't say enough nice things about the staff and how well we were taken care of. A fabulous vacation was had by all. We will definitely be back again............WOW, WOW, 10 stars!!

Terrific family vacation!
My family and I arrived in Bucerias for a week's vacation. Fourteen of us, ages 18 months to 65 years old, gathered to celebrate my parents' 45th wedding anniversary. We had 4 families staying at this gorgeous hacienda and we had plenty of space! Each bedroom had a king-sized bed and a full bathroom. The grounds were beautifully decorated and meticulously clean. A beautiful, uncrowded beach was just 1 block away. Alex, our house man, helped us carry chairs and umbrellas and even brought out cocktails for us. Patricia, our cook, made delicious meals for us everyday. They were both simply PHENOMENAL! I cannot say enough about their attention to details and their efforts to make our family feel welcome and happy during our stay. It was truly special. We plan to return! Thank you so much for making this trip a success!
