About this house rental
Cherry Grove house for rent, 1.5 blocks (13 houses) from the beach. This house has all you need for a relaxing stay at the beautiful, laid back, Cherry Grove Beach, just north of Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach. House includes a Smart LED flat screen TV w/ digital cable in the living area and additional wall mounted, Smart LED flat screen cable TVs in all 4 bedrooms. House also equipped with WiFi. Covered back porch with 4 rockers, overlooks dock and channel. 1 bedroom w/ king size bed, 1 bedroom w/ queen bed & 1 single bed, 1 bedroom w/ queen bed. 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds. Queen size Sleeper Sofa in the living room can allow for 13 to sleep. Sheets and bath towels provided. Washer & Dryer in the convenient upstairs laundry room. Wood and vinyl floors throughout. Outdoor amenities include outdoor grill and picnic table, and a great sun deck and floating dock great for fishing, crabbing, sunbathing, or just hanging out. The paved area under the house is a cool, breezy place to enjoy the channel views in a swing. Channel dredging in 2017 improved it greatly. The floating dock was replaced in May 2018. Bring the boat! Easy walk to beach-2 minutes. Public beach walkway at the end of this street. Quiet neighborhood close to many restaurants, shopping, golf, and attractions. Kitchen cabinets and floors, as well as the bathroom cabinets and floors, will be updated in September 2021. Long term monthly Fall / Winter rentals also available, please contact us for pricing! Great comfortable and spacious vacation home away from home with fantastic views from the deck, backyard, and dock of the inlet. Nice neighborhood area, convenient to the beach front and shopping venues. Well kept home that allows easy transition to a relaxing vacation mode. Very communicative and easy to work with owners. Wonderful experience overall and I highly suggest this as a good vacation location for family and friends.

It was a great experience. Wish it were a little closer to the Cherry Grove Pier. No complaints. I would suggest renting a golf cart if you stay here. Great experience wonderful owners.

This home is beautiful, rockers on the porch overlooking the inlet where there is always a breeze. A very short walk to the gorgeous beach and ocean. I do didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to stay again.

Beach access was very easy with a short walk to the beach. We rented a golf and could ride the neighborhood enjoying all the wonderful views. I spent a lot of time on the channel deck fishing with the grandkids, didn't catch much but they had a ball. I also enjoyed setting in the swings catching the afternoon breeze. The cottage was plenty big for our group and well furnished. Thanks for sharing it with us.

AMAZING
This was the most perfect vacation spot. The view of the channel is incredible and it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We loved sitting on the back porch in the rockers and just enjoying the scenery and the breeze. The swing below the house was also awesome. We were even able to use the canoe a few times and loved going into the channel exploring the marsh area. You have to do this at sunset to see the amazing view. The house had everything we needed and we can't wait to go back.

We had a relaxing, quiet time at Trading Spaces...loved the dead end street on the canal and very close proximity to the beach. We rented a golf cart for the days we were there and actually spent most of our time playing in the tide pools as far north as you can go. Cherry Grove beaches are the way to go if you’re looking for a clean, family oriented vacation. The house is a little rough around the edges in spots but everything was super clean. It served us well with our 3 kids and 2 dogs! The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are super comfy! My boys loved fishing off the pier, didn’t catch any fish but plenty of crabs and lizards. It was actually really nice to get away from the wind of the ocean most days. I have zero complaints about this property

Thanksgiving 2020
This is the second year we have stayed here for Thanksgiving- we love the location, the view, the openness of the home and short walk to beach. Sunsets are fabulous while in the rocking chairs. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful Property
My husband and I wanted a quiet, beautiful spot near the water for our wedding anniversary trip. This property was everything we wanted. The dock gave us easy access for paddle boarding and the canal view was breathtaking. The interior was clean with nice beach decor. Very comfortable. They also accept pets so my pup was able to come with. The owners are great! They communicated quickly and made themselves available if needed. Would definitely recommend!!!

Small town feel
We really enjoyed staying in a home vs a condo which was a great option for Covid concerns. The house is not on the beach but easy to get to walking. Cherry Grove is a nice quiet neighborhood that is a nice change from highrise condos. It has a huge back porch deck that overlooks the salt marsh. A great place for enjoying mornings with coffee. Each room was furnished very well and inviting.

Wonderful home!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!! The home is beautiful and the walk is not too bad!! We LOVED the decor and lovely pictures!! Angela and Kenny are AWESOME to work with. We had a last minute stay for 10 people and 2 dogs because our rental was in an evacuated area, they were so gracious to help us and we appreciate it more than any would know. We had an AMAZING time and would love to return!!!

Despite hurricane Isaias passing over Cherry Grove on Monday night, we had a nice stay. We never lost power, even with hurricane force winds. The house is close to the beach, and the floating dock makes it easy to launch a canoe or kayak into the canal.

This was our second stay at this wonderful home and we had so much fun making memories here again! Fishing behind the house (we caught our first flounder) swinging in the shade, cooking our with family, a short walk to the lovely beach. Everything a family vacation should be! Wonderful stay!
This house is absolutely wonderful. Clean, close to the beach. Beds were very comfy, and the house was fully stocked with anything we could possibly need. Owners were very easy to get ahold of for questions, and everything in the house was up to date. The bunk room was especially helpful with 7 kids staying with us, and the back deck with rocking chairs was delightful for morning coffee and evening sitting and relaxing. Will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable home in good location
We came down for a week of golf and this home was a great place to establish a home base. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The dock was a nice place to relax after golf and enjoy being on the water. The bathrooms were a little small and having to wash the linens and towels before we leave with a 10 am check out time was not the best as the dryer didn't work very well (we ended up leaving the towels in the dryer because they were not dry). We would definitely stay here again when we come down in future years.

Cons: checkout time 10am.
We had to wash, dry, fold all linens and towels prior to check out time. This was made clear in the “house rules” on display in the home as well in the phone call from the owner a few days prior to my family checking in. With check out time being 10am with multiple loads of laundry to do, we decided to leave the night before our scheduled check out date - just so we could get the laundry requirements done!
Also, the dryer needs to be updated. It took 2+ hours to dry sheets.
We were also expected to do all dishes ( we didn’t use any) as well as clear all trash (understandable) and place the trash container “at the road with the wheels facing the house”.
It was cold, windy and rainy on a couple of days of our stay. The thermostat (heat)in the house is set to stay at 58 degrees. You can adjust it for a short period of time, but it will return to 58 after a couple of hours.
It’s a nice, well maintained home, but it comes with a lot of rules and requirements.

Easy walk to the beach / outdoor spaces at house very nice / bathrooms small but bedrooms were great...each with own TV. October perfect time to visit as there were hardly any people around...I imagine the houses on the canal could get busy during the summer months! Highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful
The house and location was great. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Very close to the beach. Enjoyed fishing from the pier and relaxing in the rocking chairs on the back deck. We had 4 adults and 2 children so the 4 bedrooms worked out great. We also used the gas grill several nights to enjoy preparing our food at the house. Wonderful vacation!

Very well presented with all the amenities
During our May visit this property was wonderful, with all the room we required.
It was very quiet as the busy season had not yet started and only a short walk to the beach.
The rocking chairs on the back deck were a great to relax in and watch the fish jump
in the channel. Great people to rent from, very accommodating!
