This was an enjoyable stay for us. We loved walking to the bay in the morning with our coffee! We found it to be so peaceful and quiet. The futon was super comfortable. We forgot to bring sheets even though the property manager told us we needed them, so friendly reminder to not be like us! We wish there was a working lighter and/or matches so we could light our candle and the fire pit. All in all, we’d love to go back!

My husband and I decided to take a road trip east. The house was easy to find to rent while on the road. The owners were easy to get ahold of when needed. We will remember them if we go that way again.

We were traveling for my sons coast guard grad and the place was perfect. Comfortable beds and a very homey feel. I loved it. Down the street was the beach to enjoy the perfect sunsets. I would definitely stay again. And communication was great. They answered any questions quick.

The property was cozy for the two of us. Location was quiet and short walk to the beach.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing location and the Bayside Bungalow definitely fit the bill. We walked to the end of the street to watch the gorgeous sunsets with many of the neighbors nearly every evening. There are restaurants within walking distance - Mel's Place is great for breakfast!
The bungalow was very clean, and nicely appointed. It was perfect for our needs. It is a bit of a drive to Cape May, to grocery stores, and the beaches where you can swim, but even on a holiday weekend, it was not bad. We will definitely stay again if we visit the area.

Clean and cozy place perfect for a family looking for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed our stay and will be booking again if coming back to this area.

I really liked this place. It was clean and cute, and it was close to the bay. The location is nice; it's on a quiet street close enough to Cape May but far enough away to have quiet at night.
Would stay here again!

This was the 2nd summer we stayed at this property and disappointed due to many issues. They had plumbing issues which were not resolved prior to check in, for the first 3 days we could not use a kitchen sink because the water would not flush which made it very difficult to wash anything, so we had to do a lot of take outs. On the day plumbers were coming, we left early in the morning to allow the plumbers to do their work, they were coming at 8:30 am and arrived earlier than scheduled. House was not cleaned and senitized after the plumbers, so I had to senitize and clean the house myself. The owner offered to send a housekeeper after the fact, when I question if the house was clean and what was done. In addition, during our stay we had three different occasions where strangers knocked on a door and were searching for information, asking various questions about rent, property, etc, “fishing” for information which was very disturbing and unexpected. Raised concern about safety and the neighbourhood. We ended up staying for a week, as planned, however it was not as enjoyable as expected. Furthermore, the owner requires to take trash out but only one trash bin was around the shed and the lid would not even open. There was no recycling bin for recycling trash. I don’t think it is appropriate to ask guests to take out trash bins that were filled by prior guests, something a housekeeper should do. Overall it was ok but disappointing.

My wife, Son and I stayed here for 2 night, the place was very well kept and great for what we wanted. The owners were very good. Had 1 small issue and the owners came right down to fix it. Location was nice, very short drive to cape may but easy to get to the other spots in south jersey we wanted to.

Absolutely beautiful neighborhood. 116 Bay was the perfect size for me and my two children for the weekend. The bungalow was quaint, clean, cozy, and the perfect place to stay for us. We loved it! We loved the outdoor set up and the off street parking. My only complaint is the flamingo knob dishwasher thing was too much for this city girl haha. Definitely will be back again! Thanks so much Carla!

Property is fantastic, use the Cape May beach passes as the beach near the house isn’t as swimmable, but still nice to go to walk on. And parking at Cape May is cheap on the street so definitely worth saving the money to stay at this place rather than right in Cape May. The host was amazingly responsive as well. Beds were comfy, TVs all had the ability to be smart TVs. They thought of everything!

This property was exactly as advertised. It is in a quiet neighborhood, which suited us perfectly, but within 10-20 minutes from everything we wanted to do, including Cape May beach, a winery, golf, and beautiful sunsets. It was great being close to everything, but not actually in the busy touristy section of Cape May. We walked to breakfast and supper every day (Mel’s Place and Jake’s respectively). We got ice cream at Fleck’s. And we walked to the Bay beach about 1 1/2 blocks away to see the horseshoe crabs every day. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Despite the mixed reviews, we thought the double beds were comfortable. We used the outdoor gas fire pit twice in 3 days….loved it. If we ever returned to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation.

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, and a short walk from the beach. We'll be back!

This bungalow met all our needs for a week’s stay on the bay! The owner provides all the necessities, the house is only 2 blocks from the beach, and conveniently located part way between Reeds Beach and Cape May. So easy to get to Stone Harbor, Cape May lighthouse, the Zoo…lots to see and do.
The owner is very responsive to any questions. We loved staying there.

The cottage was quite fine. Everything was perfectly functional and quite comfortable. There was good beach proximity and easy access to all points on the Cape.

This property was the perfect size for our family. We were looking for somewhere to just kick back and relax. This location is great for that. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of a beach. It was an easy and short drive to explore the area and other beaches as well. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Super cute bungalow. Much nicer in person than in the photos. Close to the beach and a short drive to Cape May. Great location! Would definitely rent again!

My friend and I wanted to have a quiet night away for New Years and this place was perfect. It was a short walk to the beach, which I’m sure is very convenient in summertime. The house was comfortable and well-equipped, and it was in a nice neighborhood. I would stay here again!

We were looking for a one night stay to spend the holiday with my family. This house did not disappoint. Clean and simple. A real deal for the price. I would highly recommend.

Quiet, beautiful neighborhood, felt safe with my children the entire time. Beautiful location, easy to find, extremely close to the beach. Perfectly located with in minutes of so many amazing activities. Well equipment, comfortable, clean, and adorable home. Would recommend to everyone!

This property was cute, and exactly what we needed for our two-day, one-night anniversary getaway! Great location just off a main road and so close to the bay that we could smell the tide changes! Quiet street, plenty of parking space. We were here in October, but it was so good we've definitely added it to our list of places to consider for summer months as well. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time in Villas, NJ. The house is small, but adequate for small families or couples. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, but missing baking sheets/pizza cutter. Dishwasher is listed as an amenity, but it is a small countertop unit that takes many steps to use. We found it easier to hand wash dishes rather than figure that out. It also appeared as if ants lived under it and were a problem in the kitchen, even though kitchen was clean. In our opinion the extra counter space would be more beneficial than the dishwasher. It really was a great getaway and we would love to stay again.

This home was just perfect for our family vacation! It was cute, clean and convenient! Located on a quiet avenue a block or so away from the bay allows for a calm escape while still being only 20 minutes or so away from all of the beautiful beaches and fun filled areas of South Jersey. We had everything we needed to have an awesome vacation! There was plenty of space to spend family time together, as well as separate, whether in the cozy sunroom, outdoor patio with grill and fire pit to relax or the living room. The outdoor shower to wash off sand was a huge help! I just wish it would have been enclosed for full showers. That’s one of my favorite childhood memories.. but that is just a personal preference. The only thing that could have been better were the beds. They creak loudly any time you move and we’re not as comfy as one would like, but overall that wasn’t a deal breaker for us, as we have slept plenty less comfortable in our life. We would definitely stay here again and appreciated having everything we needed to be able to dine in or out and have delicious coffee every morning with the Keurig. The driveway to park in is very convenient for unloading and reloading and closes off the backyard area for additional privacy if you want to relax on the patio. The owners were fantastic and great at communicating everything upfront, and Carla even text me about a speaker we left behind and offered to take it with her so we could pick it up sometime if we were in the area. There were no surprises and we were happy to bring our own towels and bed linens and would have done so regardless. If you are looking for a cozy little beach home away from home, this is it.

I love renting the same house each summer; I know the area, where to find the paper towels, and how the outside shower works . Relaxing

Second time at this bugalow.
Always great with everything that you need to enjoy the week for a family of 4.
Very close to Wildwood and the amazing waves to do bodysurf. 2 streets corner for beautiful sunsets. We also had the chance of seeing the perseid meteor shower during our stay from the back yard! Amazing!

This house was perfect and affordable for our stay with 2 young kids. We loved the sunroom and the quiet neighborhood. The house is small but we found it to be just the right size! The sunroom is a really good size and we spent most of our time in there. Everything was great. The wild bunnies was such a fun surprise!!! Bunnies in the yard and streets every day. My only recommendations would be 2 folding chairs for the dining table (my husband and i stood for all our meals), and a pizza cutter! With young kids we grabbed pizza twice and couldve used one! Thanks again we look forward to visiting again in the future.

This Bayside Bungalow is the Best!
Our family of five had a fantastic stay at the Bayside Bungalow. Everything was as advertised and simply perfect. Super short walk to the bay with the most beautiful sunsets!
Comfy beds, great AC. Lovely sunroom.
Perfect quiet location and you're located near both Wildwoods and Cape May - about a 20 minute drive to each.
Cape May beach tags were included with the rental during our stay and it was a gorgeous beach. Easy parking and wonderful for swimming and playing in the sand.
Be sure to visit
Fleck's in Villas for an amazing ice cream experience.
Budd's tackle for live crabs to steam.
Park South ( down the road) impressive playground for the kids
And Route 47 family fun center for mini golf and yummy ice cream treats.
Wildwoods beach and Boardwalk (watch the tram car, please!🚊 )
Book yourself an amazing jersey shore vacation and stay at the Bayside Bungalow.

lovely stay
Overall this house was great. A bit on the small side but the main reason to book this was/is the closeness to the bay side beach. The beach was great for a bay side beach and at low tide you can walk out what felt like a mile. This house had exactly what we needed for a week away. If we had planned around spending more time in the house or doing a lot of cooking, one might look for some place a touch bigger - but the listing is very accurate and Carla was a great communicator!

Country music festival stay
We stayed at the Villas during the Barefoot country music festival in Wildwood. The house was very clean and centrally located between Wildwood and Cape May.

Convenient but worn
While the property was clean, the location was conveniently close to other parts of south Jersey, and the dates are flexible, we found the old/worn nature of the furnishings to lead to an incredibly uncomfortable stay...primarily when it came to the beds. The full-sized bed in one room had an impossibly hard mattress that gave me back/hip pain after 3 hours of sleep. The bunk beds in the other room were rickety/not stable and the mattress on the lower bed was uncomfortable. We only stayed one night and then moved to a hotel. We certainly don't expect luxury accomodations anywhere (even in our own home!) but the beds in this property are too old and uncomfortable. The rest of the property is just fine...nice outdoor space, etc. But we woke up in the middle of the night, packed and checked out very early and had to stay elsewhere. Unfortunate, because ultimately it's a decent, reaonably priced, conveniently located place.
