Nice house, great location. It's important that I have a quiet place to stay and this house is in a nice &quiet neighborhood. The interior remodel is well done. Would have given 5 stars but the floor was a bit dirty. Everything else was perfect.

We loved the house. It was very clean, spacious and had everything we could've asked for. The beds were comfortable, and the outside seating area was great for our morning tea. The location was nice, it was close to a grocery store and to Universal Studios which was one of the places we wanted to visit. Miguel was there to welcome us and graciously offered to help us with our lack of technical expertise in operating the huge TV in the family room :)

I live in the LA area but my apartment was too small to host my family visiting from Texas, therefore I rented this home to host. Absolutely amazing!!! Newly renovated and very modern....very CLEAN and not to mention nice quiet safe neighborhood. The bedroom are spacious and the beds are just as comfortable as a luxury hotel. It was a total of 8 people and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep...the sofa was even a sleeper sofa! However the best area of this home was the backyard that included a pool, grill and plenty of patio furniture which was perfect for all 8 of us to have breakfast outside! The property owner was very prompt and courteous! Thnx for making my first vacation rental experience a great one...my family had the most amazing visit.

It is a nice house and clean. However, we had stayed there just for one day and never use the kitchen to cook except making a cup of coffee in the morning, but they sent me a message that there is a damaged rack under the sink. They did not charge me for it because it was a small thing and cheap. It is pissed me off when they said that maybe someone in my group might damage it. I wonder how the hell my group (7 adult people) ruin it for just one day stay without cooking and not even stay for the whole full day. Therefore, check the entire house before you move in.

My family and I stayed here while visiting my sister for Easter and could not have picked a better home! The house is fully updated, looks brand new and was spotless when we arrived. The pictures don’t do it justice!! We lucked out with warm weather and were able to use the pool a few times which was great. The outdoor space was perfect for our family to enjoy meals and just relax by the pool. The neighborhood was excellent and only a short drive/walk to the grocery store and other shops. I highly recommend this property and we will definitely book again!

This is a nice house with modern amenities and a great layout. We picked it because of its relative proximity to Universal Studios and because of the pool. (We were a group of two families traveling with kids during a school vacation.) Unfortunately the pool is not heated and the water was very cold. Although it was unseasonably cool during our stay, that would not have been a barrier to using the pool (especially for the kids) had the water been warmer. We may have realized ahead of time that it wasn't heated if we had parsed the listing more closely, but this resulted in our not getting much use or enjoyment out of the pool, which was a significant disappointment for the kids. In addition to not being heated, the pool lacks any kind of cover, which would have been able to trap some heat. Despite the cool temps, it was sunny while we were there, so a solar cover would definitely have helped. According to the manager, rental houses in the area with heated pools cost $125 more per day. If having warm water is important to you, I recommend you put that to the test. On the one day that we did use the pool, we found several pieces of broken glass along the edge of the pool deck. The glass was presumably from prior guests and was not cleaned up by the guests or by the cleaning service. (The nonrefundable cleaning fee for this house is steep and should include, at a minimum, cleaning up broken glass.) Fortunately no one stepped in it. The grill pictured in the the listing (photo 13 of 24) was not there when we arrived. Instead, there was a charcoal barbecue contraption that did not have a cooking grate. I texted the manager, and to her credit, she responded immediately and arranged to have a gas grill delivered to the house later that night. The grill that was delivered was smaller than the one pictured in the posting, but it did the job. That said, I don't recall ever before renting a vacation house where the listing misrepresents one of the primary amenities. The house has clearly been renovated very recently and has many cool high-tech features (like motion sensors for certain lights and smart TVs in every room). The owner clearly missed a few things, however. For example, there is no fan in the master bathroom. Although the bathroom was perfectly clean while we were there, this will likely be a mold/mildew hazard as time goes on.
