Nestled in Kiama Downs, this lovely condo for $272 per night is a great choice for your next break. This lower level unit backs onto the popular Jones Beach Kiama Downs. Beach Retreat@Kiama offers comfortable, spacious accommodation for up to 6 people. The owners live on the upper level and are happy to provide guests with any assistance needed on their stay. Your privacy is assured at all other times. *Note: The 2 bedroom listing refers to 2 separate sleeping areas. The first area being the queen bed in the separate bedroom. The second area being the bunk beds in the living area. The trundle bed can be used in either area. A large main bedroom with queen bed. A bunk bed with a double lower bunk and single top bunk is located in the living area with an additional trundle bed for the sixth person if required. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, cooktop, microwave, mini fridge, mini freezer, kettle and toaster and all your crockery, cutlery and glassware supplied are on hand. Open plan and spacious living dining area with comfortable furnishings, HD TV and DVD player. A barbecue and outdoor fire are provided for your lazy afternoons overlooking Jones Beach. Bathroom facilities include a shower, toilet and hand basin. A warm outdoor shower is also included. Shared laundry facilities include a washing machine and dryer. Linen and towels are provided. With Jones Beach on your doorstep, an IGA supermarket and bottle shop a short walk away, you will be able to park the car and toss the keys to one side for the duration of your stay. Beach Retreat is within walking distance to Minnamurra River which is a popular location for fishing, swimming, standup paddle boarding and kayaking. You can enjoy spectacular walks around our amazing walking tracks to the surrounding headlands. Walk to the "Boneyard" a popular swimming area for families. plenty of shady tress and crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling. The "Boneyard" has numerous rock platforms with rock pools where you can view an abundance of marine life. An excellent fishing location. 3 kilometers to Kiama centre. Drive, walk or cycle the coastal cycle track. Things to do: Surfing , snorkelling, fishing, golf, kayaking, headland walking/bike tracks, Jamberoo Recreation Park, Minnamurra Rainforest, Illawarra Tree Top Walk, Kiama Blow Hole, Cathedral Rocks. Minimum 7 night stay restriction applies for December/January school holidays. Minimum 3 night stay restriction for all long weekends.

Really great spot and awesome value for money. Owners nice and friendly easy to deal with and helpful. Perhaps fridges could be colder and maybe an extra fan. Other than that beaut spot, close to great beach. Comfy and peaceful all round. Kids and I had a lovely time n

Beautiful property with a stunning beach view. There is access to the beach from the backyard. Very clean, simple with all kitchen appliances, Linen & towels provided. During our stay, the lovely owner came down to say hello and to make sure we lacked nothing. We had a wonderful and relaxed stay with complete privacy. We forgot one of our belonging behind which was kindly returned to us by the owner. Thank you Chelsea and Ron, we will definitely come and stay again in the future.

Brilliant views via fully retractable glass doors with the bonus of seeing whales.2 beautiful dogs who interacted when they wanted 😂. Perfectly adequate accommodation with everything you need located under the owner’s living space. Shared laundry facilities and back yard. Ron and Leanne tried to be as unobtrusive as possible but obviously noise is going to be an issue at times. At the same time you knew they were available if you had any problems. On street parking. Steep access down the side of the house to access the apartment. Also steep access to get to and from the beach but definitely worth the effort. Would benefit from a small kitchen table and chairs rather than bar table and chairs. It is one of those places that grows on you the longer you stay. We stayed 6 nights and were very sad to leave. Would definitely consider staying again if we returned to Kiama in the future. Great location for easy access to Kiama, Berry, Gerringong and Wollongong.

We absolutely loved this place for a weekend away, just what we needed to recharge the batteries. The view is spectacular, and loved falling asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves. We will be looking at coming back here next time we are in the Kiama region. PS the bonus is beautiful pups on site that came and visited us every now and then, and even let us play ball with them while having drinks out the back, watching the ocean.

We had a lovely few days, unfortunately the weather wasn't great but we still enjoyed ourselves. Great location with beautiful views of Jones Beach. The perfect size getaway for myself and two teenagers. My kids loved it when the dogs came downstairs to visit them.

This was exactly what we needed, the place was well equipped, comfortable with perfect views from the garden over Jones beach and Cathedral rocks. Well located, central to Kiama and Minamurra. We liked exploring the many beaches, paddling the inlets and walking up to the rain forest waterfalls. The home owners were welcoming and freindly. Would reccomend this to others.

We had a short two night stay, the location and views are very impressive and great value for money. The unit had everything we needed and is only 10 mins from Kiama shops. The hosts were very helpful and attentive. Would very recommend.

This was a fantastic place for a break for a couple (or family with a kid or two). Ron and Leanne were friendly but unobtrusive hosts. The property is clean and well set up. The location is superb with oustanding views of Jones Beach from inside the property and the outdoor chairs. There's a path to the beach and there are many lovely walks in the area. The local IGA means you have the option not to leave Kiama Downs at all if you want a complete getaway.

The location is fantastic and the place was very clean. It was very relaxing cooking the BBQ and sitting by the fire pit with tha amazing view. The walk down to the beach was a little steep for my 80 year old mum but ok for me and the kids. The owners upstairs have dogs and that was a surprise to find them coming into the yard at times but they are lovely and friendly and my kids liked them. If you have allergies to dogs or are scared of them just mention it to the owners for them to keep them inside their place and that wouldn't be a problem. The owner Leanne was very friendly. I would be happy to stay here again. Very happy.

This is a lovely beachside unit with everything I wanted. There was even a piano: such a shame I can’t play! Jones Beach is a one minute walk right outside the property - the walk is a little steep, but easy. The Kiama coastal walk is easily accessible from the property - walks to Cathedral Rocks and Bombo quarry were highlights of my weekend trip. Leanne greeted me, and was friendly and a wealth of information about the spectacular walks and local facilities.This is a lovely place to stay - wake early and watch the sunrise: spectacular!
